My college life in RVR and JC College of Engineering

Placements: Every year, the students who are placed from this college are increasing rapidly in number. The companies visiting our campus are trying to recruit the maximum number of students possible from our college. I am glad that I too got placed from this college in an MNC named NTT Data.

A very good college and can gain good knowledge from the campus

Placements: Placements were good and most of the students were placed in TCS. There is good training for placements and communication skills. There are no particular placements for EEE students that is no companies related to the electrical field are in for a drive. There are no internships given to students particularly from the college.

Good infrastructure, facilities and placements

Placements: The placements were good compared to other local colleges. Nearly half of the students were placed in the companies. The average salary is 3-4 lakhs per annum. This year, 6-10 students were offered 6 lakhs per annum. There is also a scope to get 10 lakhs per annum in our college. Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro and some other companies visited our campus more often. They were offered as developers in the field. The core branches (unlike C.S.E and E.C.E) students were also taken by these co...

Review of my RVR & JC, with good placements and superb canteen facilities.

Placements: As far as our batch and our seniors' batch are concerned, we got very good placements from TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, NTT Data, L&T, etc. Most of the students from CSE, IT, ECE, EEE are placed and civil and mechanical students have the least chances. A minimum package of 2.5 lakhs per annum to a maximum of 4.5 lakhs per annum is offered. The college takes care of the training related to the campus placements and the students are given a good chance. Feedbacks are taken and improvements are ma...

Heartily satisfied with professors, facilities, placements.

Placements: Placements are very nice in this college. Almost 60 to 70% students are placed. A student with a CGPA of 8 or above will definitely be placed in a good company with an average salary of 3.20 lakhs per annum. The highest salary offered till now is 15 lakhs per annum in the year 2015 whereas the lowest salary is 1 lakh per annum. The salary is mainly based on students' skills, not on college which is responsible to bring companies only. TCS visits this college often and places a minimum of 300 stu...

This is the best college to study.

Placements: In our college, placements are good. In my senior batch, 540 members got placed and in my batch, more than 500 got placed. Salaries offered are above 3 lakhs per year on an average. Most of the companies were from the software field and only a few core companies visited. For example, TCS, etc visited our campus and took students. They provided internships and stipends as well.

I am satisfied with my college faculty and facilities

Placements: On my campus, we have good placement opportunities with different MNCs like TCS and Wipro. The best training team provides training for campus interviews. In my batch, TCS selected 170. In the previous batch, 270 were selected and in the next batch, 370 students got selected. Students were selected by other companies as well.

Well-satisfied with the infrastructure and good placements but very high fees.

Placements: Placements for our batch were good. Nearly half of our batch was placed in various companies. The salaries offered varies from 2 lakhs - 4 lakhs per annum. Some of the companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Miracle, etc. visited the campus. Most of them were offered the role of technical trainee. No students are offered internship as there is a project going on in the college premises itself.

My review of RVRJC college.

Placements: Placements were not that good. If we were hired by one company, we were not allowed to sit for another company unless its CTC was twice the first's. Good point is, more number of students get placed in any of the companies. Highest package offered is 4.5 lakhs as per my knowledge and the lowest package offered is 2.4 lakhs. Mostly, companies related to IT industry come to our college.

Very good college with a good environment and faculty.

Placements: RVR & JC College is one of the best colleges in Andhra Pradesh. In my college, the total number of final year students is 900. Out of 900 members, 520 members got placed. The 520 members are only in CSE, ECE and IT branches only. No core companies for civil came to the college. All the civil engineering and mechanical engineering students did not attend any drive because of no core companies coming for placements.

Not a good college to graduate in as per the present world.

Placements: The placements were good for all the recent batches. All most 50 % students will be placed every year. Most of them are placed in TCS and most of them are hired by Tech Mahindra, Allsec Technologies, NTT Data, ZenQ, etc. Internships are not offered from our college. But, students find internships by themselves. Students going to internships are very low and can be 5%.

Very good infrastructure.

Placements: PROS: Like in every other top college, our college had strong placements. TCS is the backbone for our placements. Many small companies also recruit the students. CONs: For students who are joining the core branches (EEE, MECH, CIVIL), never expect a core placement. The placements are once in a blue moon.

Placements: This college is the best in terms of placements. During my passed out year, a total of 500 students were placed. Every year more than 200 students get placed. The head of the placement department in this college is very dedicated to bringing the companies to the college. The companies visiting the college are mostly MNCs only.

RVR & JC -- The best college in Guntur for developing maturity.

Placements: Around 10 companies visited for my branch. More than 70 people have been placed in the campus. The lowest was 2.0 LPA while the highest stood at 4.5 LPA. Software development was the main role for many people. However, tech support was also offered. Zero percent got the internship from our college.
