Lasting fun during college, which will always be remembered.
Placements: Very few, 20 to 25, that’s it, in the previous year where students were placed. The highest package offered was 9 Lacs, and the minimum package was 2 Lacs. Only 5 percent of students were placed in the previous year. Many had taken internships from the college itself, which were paid internships of 2k.
Infrastructure: The hostel food is not up to mark. The remaining facilities, like hostel rooms and all, are cleaned regularly. Washrooms and all are a little not up to the mark. Labs, classes, and libraries are all available at the college itself. The study table is provided in the hostel room, that’s it.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are good if the students attend the classes regularly. The quality of teaching is also good. Many other activities are also done, and fests are held regularly, etc. The semester exams are conducted by VTU itself, so they are a little different compared to internals.

Overall, the college is good. Placements should be improved.
Placements: At SG Balekundri Institute of Technology, around 20% of students from the CSE background were placed. The highest package was around 7 LPA and the lowest was around 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters from our college were Tata Consultancy Services. Around 35% of students secured internships in companies like Vega, Aqua, etc. Top roles offered in our course are DDCO, OS, OOPS in Java, DSA, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is very good. We get to see nice department buildings, which are well-maintained and with knowledge boards. We have a huge ground where football and cricket matches, as well as concerts, are held. There's a pavilion where around 200 people can sit, watch the show, and play matches. Overall, the infrastructure is good. We have a big library, which open from 6 AM in the morning and closes around 10 PM in the night. Wi-Fi is available, and the classrooms are also maintained very good, with fans, projectors, and good lighting.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They never hesitate when we ask for doubts, they solve our doubts very clearly. The overall teaching quality is good. The Computer Science course is very relevant, we need to learn coding and there is no such thing as by-hearting and all. College organizes placement training, where students are introduced to the industrialists. Semester exams are conducted strictly. The pass percentage of students is around 78%.
Other: The best thing about Computer Science is that we need to understand the programming languages rather than by-hearting them. Every even semester, college organizes events and fests, where celebrities are invited. Students enjoys a lot and have speaking experience.

If you are rich go for a better college, not this one.
Placements: For the past three years, I've observed that most companies participating in the placement drives at our training center primarily offer internships under the guise of placements. There isn't a single company providing a proper CTC (Cost to Company) offer. Now, as a final-year student, this remains a major concern.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure provided are decent and manageable. While Wi-Fi is not available across the entire campus, it can be accessed in certain areas, such as library. Hostel facilities are good. However, the quality of food could be improved, as it is not up to the mark.
Faculty: Faculty members primarily focus on assignments, leaving limited time for effective teaching. The teaching quality is average and doesn't adequately prepare students for industry demands. Course curriculum lacks relevance as it emphasizes theoretical knowledge over practical skills, making students less industry-ready. Semester exams are conducted by VTU, and are manageable, with an average passing percentage of 70%.

This year, the placement department has disappointed the students too much.
Placements: Only 45% of students have been placed this year, which is the most disappointing thing for the students whose career is not good in this college. Instead of companies, they are calling training institutes for the placement of the students, which is not good news.
Infrastructure: The CSE department provides excellent facilities, including reliable Wi-Fi, advanced computer labs, smart classrooms, and a library with plenty of digital resources to support learning. Hostels are comfortable and well-maintained, the food in the mess and canteen is hygienic and decent, and there are good medical and sports facilities to ensure a balanced campus life.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated enough to teach the subjects. They have enough knowledge of the particular subjects they are teaching and provide good quality education. The course curriculum is not up to date, which does not make students industry-ready. Exams are different, and the passing percentage is 85%.
Other: I chose CSE because of my passion for technology and its potential to solve real-world problems. The best aspects are the practical projects. The vibrant campus life, including exciting fests, a diverse and friendly crowd, good connectivity, and ample extracurricular activities, make up for areas like limited scholarship options and the need for more advanced lab resources.

Everything is good about the college; the only thing is students should study.
Placements: Very few people, like 2%, and the highest package offered was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Infosys and many more, but the internship is offered by the college itself, so the students don’t have to worry about anything, and the opportunity is given to everyone.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best. The labs are clean and maintained properly. All the PCs look brand new. The classrooms are neat and clean. They ensure each and every person gets a PC while practicing the code. The staff is also friendly. Just the hostel looks old, but the facilities are good, such as hot water, food, etc.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are qualified and teach us nicely. They even share helpful information, and the quality of teaching is outstanding. It even makes the students ready for the industry. The semester exams are a little bit tough, and the pass percentage is more than 75%.

Very well known college and properly established.
Placements: 1. 50% of students are placed every year.
2. The highest-paid package is 7 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average package is about 4 LPA.
3. The top recruiting company is TCS.
4. Internships are gained by about 25% of students in top companies.
5. Top roles offered are software developer, database administrator, computer hardware engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: No proper Wi-Fi facilities are provided to students inside college. There are well-established laboratories for setting proper practice knowledge for the students. Campus is student friendly. The classes are very well furnished with proper seating facilities, boards, projectors, etc.
Faculty: The college faculty is well-qualified, knowledgeable, and friendly among the students and provides very good guidance. The course curriculum includes 3 minor exams per semester along with internal laboratory exams. They also conduct external written exams and practical exams too. The exams are relevant for the subject course and help gain knowledge. The pass percentage is about 80%.
