    A:
    {Source: B.A. students & alumni}

Course Curriculum at S.S. Jain Subodh PG College for B.A.

The course curriculum at S.S. Jain Subodh PG College for B.A. is well-structured and planned. The curriculum provides timely CIA's (Continuous Internal Assessments) to evaluate students' performance and familiarity with the syllabus, helping them fetch good marks.

    Here are some key highlights:

    * Teaching Quality: Teachers are highly qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced, providing good teaching quality.
    * Relevance: The course curriculum is relevant, making students industry-ready and solving real-life problems.
    * Semester Exams: Semester exams are moderate, and students can pass with average preparation.
    * Pass Percentage: The pass percentage is relatively high, ranging from 33% to 95%.

Some students mentioned that the course curriculum could focus more on practical applications and reduce the emphasis on theoretical aspects. However, overall, the curriculum seems to strike a balance between theory and practice.

It's worth noting that the placement record for B.A. Hons Geography is zero, as mentioned earlier, but teachers do help students explore further courses and enhance their skills and knowledge in this field.

Really good campus, decent placement, and complete integration with college life.
Placements: SS Subodh Jain PG College offers decent placement opportunities. Every year, more than a huge number of students get placed here. The students get highly competitive packages offered by most of the companies in the IT, banking, and retail sectors. To gain practical exposure, many students also get an opportunity to grab internships with well-reputed organizations.
Infrastructure: The college provides well-equipped classrooms, a resourceful library, and modern computer labs. Academic areas are Wi-Fi enabled, and comfortable living space, hygienic food, and recreational amenities characterize the hostel facilities. In addition, there is medical support and sports facilities for the overall well-being of students.
Faculty: The staff is well-experienced, friendly, and knowledgeable. The curriculum is well-arranged and, more importantly, in tune with the requirements of the industry by setting focus on practical alongside theoretical studies. The exams are moderately demanding in this institution as well, so their students are ready to step out into the professional environment.
Other: It is a good choice for quality education with decent placements and holistic campus experience. I would like to conclude by saying that this college is especially suited for students looking for affordable education and having every opportunity for more learning and growth.

A college that gives you success with memories.
Placements: Placements are provided to the students in this college. The minimum package offered is around 35-40 k monthly. Students are trained well before their placements by the teachers so that they perform well and get better placement opportunities. Almost 20 percent of the total students got placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is too good. There are labs for Geography for the students to understand theories with the help of practicals. All the instruments are present in the labs. Although Wi-Fi is not available in the campus. The classrooms are spacious with good furniture. Quality of mess food is good but the mess should improve in manners of their service and management.
Faculty: The faculty of my course is very supportive, they never fail to motivate and guide us for the best. All the teachers are good in their subjects and their teaching methods are very easy for the students to easily understand the topics. Difficulty level of the semester exams is moderate.
Other: I chose this course because I am preparing for UPSC and I think this is the most relatable subject for UPSC. I wish they host more seminars for the students.

Without the college, there is no knowledge.
Placements: 5% of students got placed. The highest package available for our course is around 2 lacs per annum. Small-size companies recruit here. In my course, only a few people get internships like 1-5% in small companies like Vodafone, etc. Generally, the top roles aren't that many in my course; only good guidance can lead anyone up to there.
Infrastructure: The college Wi-Fi is very slow and teachers don't entertain much of the practical study; they put more stress on the theoretical section. The library is good but you can only get a limited number of books from there. The food available in the canteen is not that good, even they don't maintain a certain hygiene level.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are well qualified and some of them have done their doctorates. The teaching quality is good, according to me. No, this course is not curriculum relevant but if you are trying to set your career in the civil service, then this is good. The pass percentage is near 40% but the paper is never too hard to solve.
Other: Just curious to know the functioning of the world made me curious about this course. Apart from theoretical, maybe there should be practical classes to combine knowledge. Events don't take place on a regular basis but there is still a good environment for curriculum activities.

    Subodh College, UG program.
Placements: Colleges provide placements to students in B.Com., B.BA., etc. programs. Placements for around 50 percent of students. The average annual package is 1.5 lacs. Companies recruiting are Idea, Vodafone, etc. Students usually prefer to go for competitive examinations like UPSC.
Infrastructure: Great infrastructure: library, canteen, parking, etc. It also provide the Wi-Fi network, but for staff and for specified purposes. Labs for each department are well maintained and hygienic. Hostels are there but are for only girls; they are not for boys.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive, and they study very much. Teachers are here after graduating with a Ph.D. degree and are well educated. As the B.A. course or graduation is a must for any exam, colleges focus more on university and course-related topics. Semester exams are hard, and almost all students find them easy to pass.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go into civil services examination. Fest is not so much conducted by the college, but the environment of the college is great as it includes extra activities like sports, etc.

Ss jain subodh college is really good for the bright future of all the students.
Placements: Many students secured placements in different companies. For BCA, there was a 70% placement rate last year. The highest package was 14 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. Companies included TATA, MAHINDRA, WIPRO, AND AMAZON. This college is best for BCA and MCA courses.
Infrastructure: The college has a big and spacious infrastructure. There are more than 1500 rooms in the college. Every department has 2 or more rooms for communicating with the students. There is a large library with seating for around 300-400 students and plenty of books. The labs are very clean, and you can find every necessary object in them.
Faculty: The teachers at our college are highly qualified and knowledgeable. They are always ready to help students, and their teaching style is polite and understandable. Exams are held on a semester system, meaning you have to take exams twice a year. So, there are six semesters in B.A., B.Sc., and B.Com.
Other: The college is overall good, but there are some minor improvements needed, such as increasing the area of the canteen.
