It is a good college for those who want to do something in future.
Placements: I joined the batch in the year 2017 after passing out 10+2 from the same institution. It is the only great college in the Jagatsinghpur district. There are 500-550 students in our batch. This is the basic course, and after completing B.Com most of the students are doing their advanced studies So there were no campus placements or recruiting companies offering jobs.
Infrastructure: The campus is of an old style but in good condition. The building is with all basic needs like electricity, computers, library, etc. But unfortunately, there was no Wi-Fi connection during our course. Hostel is in very good condition with all facilities available including Wi-Fi. Healthy food is also available for those who don't want to eat outside food.
Faculty: All the faculty members in our college are well educated, but it is sad to say that during our course, 99% of the students were not attending classes because the teaching style of the faculty members was not familiar. They didn't describe the fact according to students' standards. So most of us preferred outside coaching including me. The exam was neither difficult nor easy means if you study well then you will score well, and if you don't study the marks are against your dream marks.
Other: I choose this course because I wantnted to become a cost accountant cum chartered accountant. The college should find teachers who are eligible to describe students according to their minds. All scholarships are available. The campus election was held. We had good friends. Ragging was not allowed. Above all, we had good campus life.

Overall, the college is good.
Placements: At least 60% of marks are required for students to get admission for the course. No companies are recruiting for this course. There are no internship offers. The college rules and regulations are not maintained properly, that's why students are facing more difficulties.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are good, and all the departments have separate buildings. The girls' hostel is good, but the boys' hostel is too small. The playground is awesome. A huge library is available with an attached study room. Food is not provided by the college, you need to order food from outside of the campus.
Faculty: The college has well-educated faculty members. All over Odisha, every college follows the same accounting books. The college regulations are too old. There are classes always, but students don't attend the classes.

All facilities are available and it is better for studies.
Placements: There are no decent salary packages in this college. Jobs are also not offered in this college. Around 60% of students got placed in our course. It is the head college in our district. There are no top recruiting companies that visit our college to hire students.
Infrastructure: There are no facilities because it is a government college. Hostels are very good. The food served in the hostel is also better. All facilities are available in our college. This college is for better study-related. The food is also hygienic.
Faculty: Semester exams are conducted in a disciplined manner. The pass percentage is above 95%. It is the best for studies in this district.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Extracurricular activities, cricket tournaments, and sports are conducted in this college. Our college is very strict in terms of studies.

I'm satisfied with SVM College.
Placements: Almost everyone scores 70% and above. This year, the cutoff in the commerce stream was 63%. Around 10-20% of students got internships in different companies. Top roles offered are charted accountant, costing management, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi connectivity. A good library and labs for different subjects are available. The college has a good hostel facility with well-developed living places. The campus has a good playground and a big stadium for different sports. A canteen is available with good quality food. Medical facilities are good.
Faculty: All the teachers are extremely qualified and educated. They teach us very smartly, and their teaching quality is far better than in other colleges. Semester exams are difficult. The pass percentage is almost 80-90%, and 65-70% of students get 1st class marks (60%).
Other: I chose commerce because it has a good scope. My aim is to become a chartered accountant. Our college organises the best function once a year. Scholarships are provided for students.
