Our college has an amazing ambiance and good facilities for learning.
Placements: The college has a decent placement record for the course. About 30% of the latest batch got placement offers. However, it is also worth noting that many students decided to opt for higher studies. The highest salary package offered is around Rs. 4,00,000 per month, and the average is around Rs. 50,000 per month. It is also important to note that the packages offered highly depend on our personal skills, academic performance, and market demand. The college has a decent network of top recruiting companies, including Deloitte and Sutherland, which are also the top recruiting companies for the course. A significant percent of students secured internships in various companies, including Google. As the course caters to and is basically a foundation for data science and analytics, the top roles offered also seem to be focused in that direction.
Infrastructure: The college has a serene environment with excellent facilities for learning which makes it an ideal place for learning. The college has a good and solid wi-fi system which is accessible from any part of the campus and it makes online resources easily accessible to students. The library has a vast collection of books on vast topics, which can all be browsed through its digital library catalouge. The library is also a great place for the students to students to study and there are facilities provided for such. The library also hosts computers which can be used by the students for their academic needs. The classrooms are also neat and well maintained and the classrooms in the computer Science department are also air conditioned. The labs are also decent with a good amount of computers that are handled with care. The hostel facilities are pretty average but they serve their purpose. The canteen however serves very decently cooked food, additionally there is also a small shop for refreshments inside the college. The college places a good deal of emphasis on sports and games and provide all the necessary facilities to the students talented in such fields. The college has good facilities for sports and games, including a basketball court, handball court, football ground, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their respective fields. They have a good understanding of their subjects. There are always friendly. They are ready to help with doubts. They provide assistance. The course is moderately relevant, serving as a foundation for data science. It might not make students completely industry-ready, but it is a good stepping stone towards that goal. Exams conducted are also moderately difficult. You can easily score good marks with hard work and dedication. Teachers also provide you with ample study materials and guidance for the exams.
Other: I chose this course to become a data scientist. The best thing about the course is definitely how you get the best of 3 worlds, i.e., computer science, statistics, and mathematics. Limiting yourself to academic knowledge and not building up your personal skills will not take you very far in this industry. Apart from this, the ambiance of the college is amazing. The serenity of the lake and the hallways makes it more beautiful. You can spend time with your friends. You can watch the sunset across the lake. The open gym and other facilities only make things better. There are dedicated facilities to ensure that students deserving of scholarships are able to access them. Extracurricular activities are also encouraged. There are always exciting fests and competitions. People here are friendly.

It is productive and well-structured college.
Placements: Campus placements were conducted here every year. Out of 45 students in our course, around 30 students got internships through campus interviews. Many top MNCs like Wipro, Infosys, Sutherland participated in placements. Roles offered for B.Sc computer science were junior developer, customer support executive, PHP developer, etc. Internships are provided, and students get a chance to get a short duration internship to get an experience certificate.
Infrastructure: I am a B.Sc computer student, and there were a total of 2 computer labs for computer department. Labs were well functioning, and classrooms are digitally equipped with new standards. Our college also provides free Wi-Fi facility with top speed, and there are no complaints here. There is a fully equipped library, which is situated in the middle of the college. The hostel has spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi facility and bathing areas. Variety of food items like fish, vegetables, snacks, etc., were available here.
Faculty: Our college has a strict policy for hiring teachers. All teachers have around 3-4 years of experience and are highly knowledgeable. They are also friendly to students. This course curriculum is relevant, and most of the top programming languages are covered in this course. It will allow us to have a basic knowledge of the languages and help us choose what we understand the most and choose from it.
Other: As being a computer and technology addicted person, I am very well interested in studying computer programming and also interested in machine learning. The course provides basic knowledge about top 3-4 programming languages which will help in future. It would have been better if more practical programming was included. Our college conducts fests every year in most productive days. It also conducts science exhibitions.

I am totally happy and satisfied with the college. The campus experience is the best.
Placements: Our college offers good placement opportunities. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Sutherland, McKinsey, and some pharmaceutical companies visited our college for placements. About 30% of science students were placed. A good number of students from the commerce department were placed. As science students, our main aim is for higher studies, and students rarely attend for campus interviews.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in the college are of good quality. There is a huge library with enough books for reference. The main attraction is the lake view scenery. A cafeteria, gym, canteen, and store, etc., are available on the campus. The college provides separate hostels for boys and girls. The Wi-Fi facility and medical facility are good.
Faculty: The chemistry department in the college has a bunch of well-trained teachers. Most of them are PhD holders. They are friendly and approachable. Since it was an autonomous college, our syllabus was revised and updated regularly. Every year, the department conducts a national seminar and an international seminar in alternate years.
Other: Heartifest is the most important event in our college. Our campus is always active. There are lots of clubs, and each club is very active. The department fests are also conducted. Each day is like a celebration in SHC.

Sacred Heart College is where you get the most of your undergraduate college life.
Placements: Students of science departments get lesser chances of placements. Students of commerce and arts got placed in many well-established MNCs. Summer research internships for science students are pretty less because we don't get a proper time of 2 months during summer vacations.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available for project works. The library is very good. The college takes good initiatives for curricular and co-curricular activities. Many sports students studied in our college. They are well-known nationally and internationally too. Cultural activities are also promoted. Our college is socially committed. We get our exam results very soon. Computer labs are present but are not easily accessible to all students. I love chemistry labs than zoology and botany labs. Microscopes present in the labs had several issues. Food in our canteen was affordable and reliable, though there is nothing too good to say about food quality. The college rules are so strict that sometimes, it feels more like a jail. We had to take many permissions to even conduct curricular activities. Sometimes, we get denied too. Girls' hostels are good and neat. But, the infrastructure was not satisfying. Not all students get the hostel facility, many opted for paying guests. The hostel fee is high. We used to protest a lot against unreasonable hostel fees. Sometimes, the quality of food doesn't match the price we give. After becoming autonomous, the semester fee is being increased year by year.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and very helpful in studies, be it our department or our subsidiary subjects. Projectors are available in final year classes. Field studies and industrial visits were also organised. Our final semester project was hands-on training in various fields like mushroom cultivation, orchid cultivation, chocolate making, bonsai cultivation etc. The student to teacher ratio in for the botany department was 50:2 per subject. The course curriculum is updated now. Back then, the course was not that helpful.
Other: We have many college union programmes like arts day, Onam, Christmas, Teacher's day, Valentine's etc. Politics is active. We used to do a lot of college programmes in the name of the union. Attractive events are conducted by the women cell and age-friendly group. Women empowerment programmes and training are conducted. Classes for old aged people gave us a lot of exposure. We conduct Heartifest, Arts day, college day etc. Our college is a very active participant of MG University, Kalolswam. The campus is always crowded and vibrant. We have a very beautiful lake whose walls are painted by the creative heads on our campus. Many government scholarships are available for students. We have wonderful department fests like Tandav, Boom, Genysys, Florafest, Blitzgerg conducted by every department.

    Review of Sacred Heart College.
Placements: As Sacred Heart is the best college in Kerala and its flagship course is B.Com, most of the companies come for the placements of B.Com. But there are placements for other streams too. Corporates like Goldman Sachs, TCS, Infosys and bank chains like HDFC, IDBI, ICICI, Federal Bank, etc., visit the campus for placements. I got an internship from TCS. The highest salary package offered was 3.50 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Sacred Heart is a beautiful college situated near a lake. It has great building and infrastructure. Despite that, there are some grey areas like labs and classrooms where the college lacks infrastructure. The library has the best infrastructure ever. Wi-Fi facility was not available in the college.
Faculty: My course was physics, a highly subjective and practical topic which is to be taught in the class. Teachers were highly educated in their respective subjects. New teaching methods like peer to peer were practised, and all the teachers were PhD holders.
Other: Events like Onam, inter-college fest, and national level commerce festival called Tandav are celebrated well.

I'm completely satisfied, and I doubt whether one can get such a college in Kerala.
Placements: Sacred Heart College is one of the top institutions offering good placement opportunities for eligible students. But as science students mainly aim for higher studies, we rarely look for attending placement interviews. So, it won't be so easy for me to make an assessment regarding the placement details.
Infrastructure: SH has an excellent infrastructure. A good and well-structured library was available. Internet connection was also available. Most of the labs were above average and were comfortable for us. We had a good auditorium and many seminar halls.
Faculty: All the teachers in our department were highly qualified. We used their experience and time for our development both subject-wise and in life. The methods used by the teachers were satisfactory. I have an opinion that the present syllabus should be modified.
Other: SH provides a memorable feeling for all.
