Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) - Batch of 2022

Satisfied with the faculty members and teaching.
Placements: As the college is from medical and dental roots, there is no campus selection or campus recruitment. The opportunities after completing the course are fully based on individual experience and knowledge. The college will provide the necessary education and practice for the future.
Infrastructure: The college consists of all requirements for budding doctors such as pre-clinical labs, clinical labs, library, Wi-Fi, etc. Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The condition of the hostel is not up to the mark and the college mess also comes under the average scale.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and experienced and are very helpful in both curricular and noncurricular activities. The curriculum is fully based on the dental council of India and exams are conducted on time with the strict evaluation. They will prepare the students well for the university exams by conducting monthly and weekly tests.

It is a good college and I am satisfied with the college.
Placements: About 60% of students from our college are placed in well-known health centers. The highest salary package of 1 LPA is offered for the beginner after master's. Max Apollo is a well-known health center that recruits students. About 65% of students got internships at the same.
Infrastructure: Right now, our college is in making. The maximum part got completed like the dental side of the university is complete. A big mess is there on campus for dinner, lunch, and breakfast. Labs are well-maintained and the classrooms are in good condition. A vast ground is available for playing.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are well experienced and helpful. They teach you in a very good way that you'll remember for your whole life. Practical knowledge is also given along with theoretical knowledge. The curriculum is difficult but not much if you attend your classes daily.
Other: I chose this course because I badly want to come into the medical field and I think this course is suitable for me. Our college also provides scholarships for every batch topper for one year.

It is a good college overall but lots of politics in college as teachers can do whatever they want.
Placements: As I’m doing BDS and right now, I do not know much about the placement. Usually, most of us have planned to get into our master’s degree MS. Almost all of us have to do the internship from the same college that is Santosh Medical College. We get around a 4k stipend which depends upon the attendance and overall performance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not that good. ACs are not available, or they don't work. Libraries are well-built. Faculty is good. They provide hostel for UG and PG students. Mess food is also provided. Sports events take place in our college in which students can participate.
Faculty: The teachers are good as they are highly educated and help in understanding the topics. The faculty is good but do keep in mind to not have beef with any of the faculty as they can fail you very easily. I failed in one of the practical subjects because ma’am didn't like me.

Good faculty. Bad infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Passed out students generally open their own clinic or they work in hospitals. There are no placement done in dental college. Students have to find a job by its own or they can prepare for their PG entrance exam. During internship period this is very hard to get patient in this college so students have enough time to prepare for PG entrance.
Infrastructure: There are no Wi-Fi facilities, classrooms are not so good, even air conditioners are installed bt they doesn't work. Overall in terms of infrastructure, condition is not so good, sometimes even water cooler doesn't work. We have been provided a badminton court only and there is no other sports. Mess food is unhygienic and tasteless.
Faculty: The best thing here is teachers are so helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They teach their students through projectors and course is offcourse curriculum relevant. Semester exams are not so difficult, students can pass their exams very easily if they studied well. Pass percentage is 50%. .
Other: I chose this course because I have always wanted to become a dentist. Best thing about this course is students have to spend their most of the time in doing practicals. Every year a college fest happens during winters. The nearest metro station is shaheed sthal (red line). Dental days and other days are always celebrated by the college and students take part in various activities.

It is a good college if you have a low budget.
Placements: Students mainly get self-employed by opening their own clinic or sometimes they join the clinic also. Students can also opt for post-graduation. This college offers post-graduation in all eight departments of dentistry.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Right now, it is under renovation. I hope so soon things will get better. In our time, the labs were functioning well, and then renovation work started. You all have to work hard to achieve success.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good. Most of them are knowledgeable. They share their knowledge very well among us. This uplifts us academically, but for practical knowledge, many times, you have to work on your own because of few patients post-pandemic. Teachers are always available for our help.
Other: There is no campus life. Few extracurricular activities are conducted here. There are no freshers and a farewell at the college. We have to organise everything on our own.

A budget friendly dental college .
Placements: Our 5th year is a compulsory internship year that we need to complete in our college only. We have our own dental hospital where patient flow is good. We also receive a stipend of 5000 every month for the internship. We have all the departments for internship and PG courses as well: Periodontology, Pedodontology, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative and Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Public Health Dentistry.
Infrastructure: Still under construction, some parts are still being constructed and it's really a headache sometimes. The AC sometimes doesn't work properly, and there are frequent power cuts in this area, which can make it unbearable to even sit in class. In summers, the conditions are worse. Also, sometimes water supply stops working. Washrooms can be unhygienic and are sometimes not properly maintained. Additionally, they are insufficient in number proportionate to the number of students.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is good, and the learning experience is comprehensive and thorough. The faculty is highly educated and experienced. Every student is provided with a mentor to listen to their problems, and interaction with teachers and mentors is frequent and easily accessible. They are very friendly. The curriculum is designed to prepare us comprehensively for our future careers as dentists. The subjects and practicals conducted in college are all based on real-world applications. We have four exams per academic year: First Terminal Exams, Second Terminal Exams, Pre-Professional Exams, and Professional Exams.
Other: The admission process was comfortable, and the admission cell was helpful. Only NEET-qualified students can enroll in this course. Admission forms can be collected from the website or directly from the college. There are no reservation benefits that I know of. Even if you have qualified NEET with a low score, you can still secure a seat. However, after 100 seats, they do not admit any more students. Our annual festival, AURA, is really fascinating and eagerly awaited. It usually takes place in November or December. Books are mostly available, and we have separate libraries for both medical and dental departments. All facilities such as dental chairs, projector classrooms, mess, and canteen are available on the college premises. We also have our own sports events, which usually take place before AURA. Student-run committees are formed every year, including cultural, academic, photography, food, etc.
