Review on Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology .
Placements: Almost all students get placed in our course. The highest package in mechanical engineering last year was 15 LPA, and the average lies at 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Hero Honda, L&T, John Deere, Ashok Leyland, etc. There is a quite good percentage in internships for students in the course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the mechanical engineering department is not so great, as it's quite an old building. The labs for the course are quite numerous and rich in equipment for mechanical engineering. There are good facilities in the hostel, like good food, a sports room, gynecologist appointments, and a night canteen as well.
Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable, with a good quality of teaching. Practical knowledge is provided to the students to make them ready for the industry. The semester exams are moderate to tough, and the pass percentage depends mostly on the professor; the percentage lies around 85-60%.

Reality of our CSE department for those student whoes avarege in studies.
Placements: In recent year the placement Statistics for student have showcase an impressive track record, with around 80% to 95% of students successfully securing job placements each year. This remarkable figure reflects the robust training and preparation provided by edu.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good in my campus the facilities and infrastructure on our campus are excellent, providing students with a conducive environment for learning and growth morden classrooms, well-equipped labs, libraries, and recreational areas enhance the overall educational.
Faculty: For exams professor are not supportable even for 1 or 2 marks they give you yearback for onlt CSE department others are good for student in CSE department professor are un supportive often giving yearbacks over just 1 or 2 marks, unlike the more accommodation approach in other departments.

B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering - Batch of 2028

Good-level NIT, but not as good as it used to be before.
Placements: Placements are good enough. In B.Tech, the highest placement was 52 LPA. The computer Science average is 15 LPA and college is 12 LPA. Many companies come to recruit students for campus placements. Companies like Myntra, Deloitte, Reliance, Larsen, and Toubro come here.
Infrastructure: There are a total of 10 hostels on campus. Hostel facilities are pretty good. First-year boys' hostel Gajjar Bhavan has 2 accommodations in a room. The girls' hostel, called Mother Teresa Bhavan, seems equivalent to a 5-star hotel in front of the boys' hostel. Ph.D. students have Raman Bhavan, which has rooms like a flat system.
Faculty: The 4-year B.Tech course comprises 8 semesters, with the last being just industrial training. Each semester has a mid-sem and end-sem exam. Also, assignments, quizzes, vivas, tests, and practicals are taken. Faculty have excellent knowledge, but generally, they are not able to properly deliver it. Also, do not mess with professors.
Other: There are many fests like Spare, Mind Blend, etc. The first-year students' party is known as Kashish. Many festivals are celebrated on campus.

Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology College Review.
Placements: Normally, students start preparing for placements rigorously in the 3rd year, and companies start coming in the starting of the 4th year. The placement drive happens for 9-10 months in different phases. Talking about the 2023-2024 placements, there was a decrease in the number of companies visiting here and also a decrease in the median package due to the recession going on. But in previous years, more than 150 companies visited the campus, and the number of students getting placed was quite good too. In the chemical department, 102/115 students were placed. Overall, the highest package was 52 LPA, and the average package was 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good except Civil, AI, M.Sc. These departments are in a pathetic condition. Other department classrooms have good infrastructure with projectors and smart boards too. The library is quite big, and it has a large collection of books and e-books too. In the 1st year, Gajjar Bhavan is allotted to boys, which is not in good condition, and Wi-Fi doesn't work well. The food is not that good, but it is eatable. There's a single dispensary in the whole campus that provides medical facilities. Sports are not that good. There are not many equipments available for playing any sport.
Faculty: Teachers here are well-qualified from known top colleges. Teaching quality is great for most of the teachers, except some. The course curriculum is outdated for most of the branches, so it doesn't make a student industry-ready just by studying the course. The semester exams are easy to clear. There are two exams held to clear a semester: the mid-semester and the end-semester exam. The mid-semester exam is of 30 marks, and the end-semester is of 100 marks for each subject, and there are also internal marks that constitute quizzes, assignments, etc.

B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2026

SVNIT Detailed Review (Specially Electrical branch).
Placements: In our course, around 70% of students were placed last year. Top recruiting companies are Bajaj, John Deere, and Mastercard in sectors like FMCG, core, and software developers. Last year, the highest salary package offered was 36 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 10 LPA. Only 3 to 4 students secured internships last year and roles offered were automation, software developer, and robotics.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is not provided in classrooms. Some department construction is in progress and some are recently build. Our library is one of the finest library consisting of three floors. Hostel for girls and boys both are good and mess food is okay. There is one canteen in our college and food court is under construction. Medical facilities are also good as there is one dispensary. In sports, students get a chance to participate in Inter NIT Tournaments.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful and some are very rude. Every faculty member has a Ph.D. IITs and from some good institutes. Some are good at teaching and some are not. Course curriculum contains some subjects which are very important and some are not important to students. We have to make extra efforts to make us industry-ready. College exams are at a mediocre level.
Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to go to a circuital branch. Evaluation beat good level as everyone is fighting for marks. There are two fests held each year, one is a technical fest Mindbend, and one cultural fest named Sparsh.
