The college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. The college promises 100% placements. In the year 2019, nearly 80% of students got jobs. Remaining of them have opted for higher studies. However, the average salary package offered is not that high. Many good companies like John Deere, Honda, Hero, Ashok Leyland, Reliance, L&T, etc., visit the campus for placements.

College life is average, placements are not bad, and a lot of curricular activities are conducted.

Placements: From the mechanical department, around 60% of the students got placed. The highest package was around 18 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Companies like L&T, Tata Motors, BHEL, etc., arrived at the campus to take interviews. Most of the companies recruited only top ten toppers of every branch.

The infrastructure and placements are good, but the quality of teaching is not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements in our college for core electronics is very much low. About 25% of students get placed in core companies. Whereas, almost 55% of students are placed with software profile based companies. Rest, often pursue higher education. Moreover, some students were not eligible for placements.

Our campus and the extracurricular activities organised here are good.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students get placed, but the salary packages depend on your branch. The average salary package offered by the core and marketing companies is 4 to 4.5 LPA. The minimum package offered is 2.5 to 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA.

Review of NIT Surat (SVNIT) - Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. Even if you are an average student, there are good chances of getting selected. Although the packages will not be that good, for freshers, it's good. From the data of last year, around 140 students got placed out of 170, so it's a good percentage. In spite of the curriculum, you should also try to be good in co-curricular activities to present yourself differently from others in an interview. Overall, the placements are decent, and if you are honest wit...

Dissatisfied with placements, infrastructure. Should allow the students to organise cultural events.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. Heard a lot but the placement criteria and training, but isn't the way we thought it would be before taking admissions in this college. If I knew before about this, I would have given a thought about enrolling in this institution. I hope others would give a thought regarding this matter.

Placements: Placements offered for civil engineering students of our batch were good. At least 45% to 50% of the students got placed this year. In the previous year, the number of placements was more because two PSUs visited the college to recruit the students. Usually, L&T Constructions, Vedanta, Aditya Birla, SPCL, Tata, etc., visit the college to recruit the students. BPCL visited the college in the last year. Check on the faculty members must be maintained as they provide guidance.

Placements: Placements were good for the branch. Opportunities could have been better given that it is an NIT. But, the packages offered are good compared to other NITs. The average placement goes up to around 6.5 LPA. Companies like Google also visit the campus. The highest salary package goes up to 15 lacs per annum.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Many education companies visit the campus for placements. If you are really willing to take placements, you will be placed. So don't worry about it. I'm in the final year and many of our classmates opted out for placements as many of them want to pursue either higher studies or research work.
