An average college to be in for the year 2015.

Placements: Placements for the year 2015 were considerably good. Companies like TCS and IRIS visited the campus along with major off-campus placements. The students were given the job roles of coders and analysts. The average payscale for the year was around Rs. 2-2.5 lpa. The students relied greatly on other sources than college counselling.

Overall, the college is good in its zone.

Placements: About 34 companies visited the campus offering 170 jobs. These consisted of MNCs as well as local companies. Maximum students were placed from the IT department and an average package of about 2 LPA is offered to students. Internships are not provided from college and have to be searched individually.

A one stop career point with extraordinary faculty and a beautiful environment to study in.

Placements: Placements at SVIT are quite good. Multinational companies like Tata Consultancy Services, Tech Mahendra, Einfochips and many more visit the campus regularly. The lowest salary they offer is around Rs. 2.8 lacs per annum. There is no bar on the highest salary. It is according to your performance in the aptitude tests and personal interviews. The average package would be Rs. 3.5 lacs per annum. Around 40% of the students from our batch get placed in various companies. The roles they offer are an ...

One of the best colleges for mechanical engineering.

Placements: Placements in our college for mechanical went down due to less number of vacancies in the production field. L&T has stopped coming to our college lately and even Linde took only 2 students from a total of 140 students batch. Apart from the big companies, there are smaller ones coming and they take multiple students every year.

Partially satisfied about the placement.

Placements: 2-3 multinational companies visit our college such as TCS, L&T, Wipro, etc. Other small companies regularly visit our campus and recruit the students. In addition to it, approximately 80 students out of 130 got placement through campus.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: In SVIT, most of the students got placed in well-reputed companies during their last year. Some companies even provided them internship for the last sem project. I am placed in Atos India, at Pune location in 2015. Also, we recruited with a good package.

An above average college. Dissatisfying faculty, good placements, and good infrastructure.

Placements: Placements-Good opportunities for a job. 40% students of the total students in the college are placed. Companies like TCS, Linde, Tech Mahindra, IBM, L&T Tech Services, IRIS, Collabera, L&T, etc. are invited for placements. The average packages offered are 2.5-3 lacs per annum. Internships- The college does not provide internships, students have to find internships on their own though they provide little help by providing a list of the companies. The stipend is given depending upon the type of ...

Good placements in 2015-16.

Placements: Placements are good but depend on the market scenario like IT placements (particularly talking about my field ) in the college in 2015 were 50+. In 2016, it was near about 60. If you are planning to be in IT and CE and you are an average student, then taking admission in SVIT will give you the best placement opportunity. Big names like TCS, L&T and Collebra arrive every year. If you are planning for TCS, SVIT is a hub for placements in TCS. Particularly talking about IT and CE, SVIT has conducte...

Pretty cool college, great campus and great regulations.

Placements: Placements here are very common. In mechanical engineering, only one reputed company Linde had come for placements and took only 2 students out of 140 per bath. There are other campus drives from other companies but they are still not good enough for the amount of students graduating each year.

Overall, a good private college to study in Gujarat.

Placements: 2016 batch's placements were good. Nearly 8-9 students got placed. The highest package offered was 3.3 LPA and the lowest is 1.8 LPA with an average of 2.9 LPA. Companies visiting the campus were TCS, Himak, LM Wind power, Finolex, ERDA etc. All roles offered were that of a graduate engineer trainee.

Satisfied. The college is financially best for all students.

Placements: Placements for our senior batch were fairly good this year. Maximum students were computer engineers who got placed in reputed companies. Highest salary was about 5 lac per annum and lowest was about 3.5 lakh. Companies like Wipro, L&T, Vital Cast, TCS, etc. came to our college for recruitment. The criterion of these companies was that we had to clear 2 tests to go in PI. First aptitude, second GD.

Great sport facilities, large infrastructure, good placement,

Placements: Placements are good enough and there is zero day placement bond with TCS. Other great multinational companies come and recruit students. More companies come as we are in the top 10 colleges of Gujarat. The highest package given is 6 lakhs. Every student is given the freedom to have their internship from the third year.

Overall, satisfied with college and faculty, but quite dissatisfied by administration department.

Placements: There are very few placements available in SVIT which provided by some of the multinational companies and some local IT companies. Around 30 to 40 percent students got placed with a bond of one or two years. They offer around 2-3 lakhs per annum. Mostly, students get the placement as an intern in those companies. Some companies who provided placements in SVIT are Microsoft, L&T, Google and some local companies.

Great place to be after MSU, LD and BVM.

Placements: Placements at SVIT have always been relatively better compared to its main rivals (Parul, Babaria, Navarachna, VIER, Neotech, etc). The placement has been better with each year, ie the number of students placed in our batch was more than the number of students in our senior batch, and so on. You can view the placement details here: http://svitvasad.ac.in/Deva/placement_summary.php. Total 141 placed students in the year 2015-16. As for our batch (2016-17), the placement season is still going on, ...

A decent option for Barodians if you don't want to leave your house, good rankings and placements.

Placements: The placements for this year have been moderately well. The batch senior to us was offered decent jobs with CTCs up to 4.50 lacs which is quite nice given the market this time. Companies which visited include TCS, Tech Mahindra, Linde, Capgemini and a few more. Most of them being MNCs, the job profile offered is nice. The placement percentage would be anywhere around 40-55% of the eligible students.

All about SVIT. A college to fulfill all your dreams.

Placements: Good placements. Many companies visit and on-campus placement is very easy if you have good academics. Companies like Cognizant, TCS, Collaboration, Tech Mahindra, etc. recruit the students. Bulk placements in all companies. If one is technically strong then he/she may get multiple offers also.

Dissatisfied and frustrated here.

Placements: The placements of our college are not good. They are just faking good placements. Only 4 students are placed in the technical field and two of them are in a GIDC of low grade. Only two of them are in good companies, that is Linde. Now the other 10 students are in IT companies and so count only 14 students who are placed in the capacity of 150 students. Just imagine how our placements are!

Average college but with good results.

Placements: Placements are not good for mechanical students. Linde has selected 2 students, GIDC has selected 4-5 students and other 10-12 students are selected in IT companies like Collabera, TCS etc. So, mostly, 17-19 students have been selected out of the total 148 students. Also, there are some companies who said they will come for the placement interview but did not come. So, overall the placement is not so good in SVIT college.

College is good at its level. Good to study and good for placements

Placements: The placement procedure in my college is quite good. At least 70% of student placed all years. In my college, the highest salary rate is 6 lakhs per annum, the average salary rate is 4 lakhs per annum and the lowest salary rate is 2 lakhs per annum. The list of companies which visited our campus:- 1) TCS 2) L&T 3) Infosys 4) Risabh Software 5) Zeus Technology 6) Tatva Soft 7) Capgemini 8) Cygnet 9) Collabera 10) Software Solutions.

Best college of today's date.

Placements: Since the college has started i.e. 1999, the placements of this college are very good compared to other private colleges. Every year more than 15-20 companies come for placements in every department. The list of companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, L&T etc.
