July 9, 2020: Zebrafish is a trending topic in Biopharmaceutical Research as a disease model and also as drug discovery. To talk in detail about this, School of Biosciences at Apeejay Stya University will conduct a webinar session on July 10 on the topic, Zebrafish in Biopharmaceutical Research. The University has invited renowned research specialist Dr Pushkar Kulkarni from Dr Reddy’s Institute of Life Sciences, Hyderabad Central University to facilitate this session.
Drug Development is a research method for creating a preventive vaccine or prescription drug to alleviate a disease's seriousness. Currently, research on Zebrafish, a freshwater fish, is going on as a disease model and, interestingly, in drug discovery also in clinical research. Dr Pushkar Kulkarni will be sharing his vast experience in the creation and establishment of Zebrafish-based product technology with the students at the School in this webinar. Placements: 80 percent of students get placement. The highest package is 50,000, and the lowest is 20,000. Apollo, Path Labs, and Medanta are some of the top recruiters. The college provides sessions for placement, self-improvement, how to give interviews, and how to update LinkedIn profiles.
Placements: Students who pass their degree with an A grade will be able to be placed. The highest and lowest packages depend on a student's work, experience, certificates, and projects. We offer top companies like Oracle and cloud computing companies. With a 4.3 CGPA, students got the best placements in the best companies. The top role is manager.
Placements: The placement chances are okay, but we have to make our contacts work for a good or better placement. We got an internship in Pathkind Labs recently due to our new CRC. We recently got a new CRC appointed, and he is genuine, and we hope to get better placements.
Placements: In biotechnology, almost all the students received placements. The highest package offered till now is 33 Lacs and the lowest package is 4 LPA. Placement is very good. Every year, students get placed in reputed and renowned companies. The course curriculum is excellent.
Placements: There are no placement options available. You have to work hard to get a placement offer. Though you can get a letter of recommendation from your mentors for any internship you are applying for. It is also possible that you could be placed under the Apeejay Group itself.
Placements: Internships and training start from the first year. Almost all students gain placements, with packages varying from 6-14 LPA, but it all depends on the skillset and experience of the students. Top roles include positions in the private sector, research and development, as well as recognized government institutions.
