Review of BBA in travel and tourism management.

Placements: Placements at Christ University are good. A lot of good companies come to recruit students. In the previous year, companies like DE Shaw and PhonePe visited the campus. For BBA tourism and travel management, a lot of good tourism companies come to the campus to recruit students like Cox and Kings, Make My Trip, etc.

Our college has good placements but lacks flexible and proper quality teaching faculty members.

Placements: More than 80% of the students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered was 18 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The average salary package offered was 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are JP Morgan, Deloitte, KMPG, Earnest and Young and MU Sigma. The top role offered in our course is an associate financial analyst.

A Great experience with one of the best private colleges the country has.

Placements: 1. 75% of the crowd who were leaning only towards placements were granted with jobs by the end of the academic year. However, it is worthy enough to note that 25% of the remaining crowd were more focused towards their own family businesses. 2. From my knowledge, the highest seemed to be 6,00,000 PA (including perks) for HR while the lowest was 3,50,000 PA (inclusive of perks). The average seemed to be around 20,000 PM. 3. My course was mostly specialisation driven. The best companies for the s...

Many restrictions from teachers and management hampered students innovative stream.

Placements: The college provides 100% placements. Some salary packages offered were as good as 16 LPA but with a bond for 3 years. The average salary package offered is ranged between 8-10 LPA. Companies like Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, DeShaw, HCL, EY, etc., visited the campus for placements. They offered roles in consulting, investment banking, marketing, HR and sales. The college claims 100% internships but around 80% of students get good summer internships. The lowest stipend offered is nil. The highest ...

Absolutely satisfied with amazing infrastructure and good faculty. Placements need to be improved.

Placements: The placements depend on the departments. The departments of commerce and social sciences had comparatively better placements than the department of professional studies. The highest package offered was Rs. 14 LPA by DE Shaw & Co., the lowest package offered was Rs. 2.5 LPA by Wipro and the average package was Rs. 3.5 LPA. Various companies offered assurance, risk advisory, audit and a few other roles based on marketing.

The placements, infrastructure and the faculty of the college are good.

Placements: At present, the placements have been done for few reputed firms including the big four. Other than that, Bengaluru brings a hub for a large number of MNCs has also lead to these companies coming in for campus placements to the college. Moreover, even opportunities from firms all over the country and globe are accessible through the placements cell.

Great journey in Christ, satisfied.

Placements: Placement is average but highly competitive; it is tough to get placed as more than 1000 students start sitting initially, mostly it is on the luck of the students. Even the students who are good at studies sometimes don’t get placed. Average package is 3.5 LPA which is satisfactory for starters in BBA. Tourism companies even offer an average package of 2.5 LPA which is very less.

Good exposure, but bad curriculum of BBA travel and tourism course.

Placements: Overall, Christ placement is good, but for only 5-6 tourism companies come mainly to offer campus placement to BBA tourism and travel management students like Thomas Cook, Evolve back, Life outside, FCM travels, Air Asia etc. They mostly offer sales job with industry package of 2.5-3.5 lakhs per annum. If your course is also BBA, they allow you to sit in any placements which are for BBA regular.

A brief summary into the Christ life.

Placements: More than 50% of the students got placed into the posts of finance, sales and marketing, tourism front and back end. The companies from different sectors came in. The salaries offered went from Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 55,000 per month. The students are free to attend for various roles if they satisfy the criteria by the company. Healthy competition and a good placement ratio are observed in the previous years.

Really good facilities and infrastructure.

Placements: The placement for our seniors was pretty good. The ratio for getting placed was also very high compared to other local colleges. The highest salary offered was 16 lakhs per annum to one of my senior. There was a lot of company which visited for placements. There were many big companies one of them was Goldman Sachs.

The sea of knowledge and holistic development.

Placements: Many good corporates have visited the campus. Goldman Sachs, Deloitte, Orange County (now called Evolve Back), Accenture, Thomas Cook are the companies expected to visit in the near future. Students from previous batches got placed at JP Morgan and Chase, Amazon. Their roles were in the department of sales, and Human Resources. Also, there are placements for finance students as well.

Tries doing holistic development of the students, but needs some improvement.

Placements: As I have heard, Christ University gives the best placements for undergraduates on commerce field in India. Almost, 80-90% of the students get placement, and the salary ranging from Rs. 3,50,000 to RS. 17,00,000 per annum. The companies like Delloid, Goldman Sachs and much more visit the campus for recruitment.

Great college, amazing experiences, great infrastructure, average faculty.

Placements: Placements are pretty good. Nice companies come to college but the package is too low. And not everyone gets placed because of less vacancies. The jobs offer very low profiles. Highest package 15 L. Avg package 2-3 L. Great internship opportunities.

Good infrastructure and systematic management

Placements: I didn't sit for placement but I observed many placements are available to students. I guess, some good companies came for recruitment because it had a good reputation. They usually think that Christians are more disciplined and studious in a conducive learning environment. One of my friends got placed from the university before we graduated. He is now working in an MNC.

Christ university gives you a practical experience of corporate world.

Placements: Many of the great companies come to our university but I would recommend the college to change some of the guidelines about agreements and conducting immense orientation through proper guide is necessary for students to understand how placement works.
