What is PDET?
PDET is a university-level design entrance exam conducted by the Presidency University, Bengaluru, for admission to the B.Des offered by the School of Design. The entrance exam has two phases - Phase 1 and 2; both phases are mandatory.
In Phase 1, candidates will have to submit an SoP online articulating who they are, the purpose for applying to the program, etc. The Phase II of the exam is conducted offline at the Bengaluru campus and is further divided into three rounds - GK Test, Design Aptitude Test (DAT), followed by a Personal Interview.

PDET Application Form 2022
The application form for the PDET 2022 exam has to be filled in online mode. The step-wise process for filling out the application form is given below.

- The candidate will be re-directed to a registration window
- Fill in your name, email ID, mobile number, and select a password for the applicant account. Also, select the program of study and you home state.
- Upon successful registration, you will have to login in and enter academic, personal, and contact details.
- Next, pay the application fee of Rs. 1000 online.
- Submit the form.

PDET 2022 Admission Process
The admission process for the B.Des program at Presidency University comprises the following steps:
Step 1 - Application submission - Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for the PDET 2022 exam need to duly fill and submit the application form by the last date. As part of the application process, the candidate will have get registered, select the program of study, fill in academic, personal, and contact details. Also, pay the application fee.
Step 2 - Appear in the PDET 2022 exam - Candidates who successfully complete the application process will have to next appear in the PUDET or PDET 2022 entrance exam, which will be conducted in two phases.
Step 3 - Preparation of PDET 2022 merit lists - The performance of the candidate in the entrance exam will be used to prepare category-wise merit lists for admission to the B.Des program.
Step 4 - Conduct of counseling and admission - The seat allotment process for PDET 2022 will be done following the merit rank of the candidate in the entrance exam. At the time of seat allotment, the document verification process will also be conducted. Such candidates who successfully complete the verification process will be eligible for admission.
