Overall, according to me, college is decent.
Placements: Somewhere around 80% of students get placed every year. The average salary package was around 11 LPA, which is better than many private colleges. Top recruiting companies are ServiceNow, Deloitte, etc. Placements are improving with each year but also not regressing.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is very nice. All classrooms are digital with centralised air-conditioners. Wi-Fi speed is decent sometimes and sometimes great. There are many labs for each course separately with fully functioning tools. The environment of our college is very nice, full of greenery.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, but only a few teachers know how to teach. In 1st sem, courses related to my course are very few, but that is the same in every college. Exams are a little difficult for particular subjects. There are many assignments and presentations.

BML Munjal University review.
Placements: A decent number of students were placed in the last term, better than many private colleges. The highest package was around 40 LPA, the average was around 9 LPA, and the lowest was around 4-5 LPA. Decent placements.
Infrastructure: The institute offers pretty good facilities overall, with solid infrastructure supporting the academic environment. There are numerous well-equipped labs available for Computer Science students, where classes are frequently held to ensure hands-on learning. These labs provide access to the latest tools and technologies. While the Wi-Fi can be somewhat inconsistent at times, it is still decent enough for general academic use. The classrooms are also well-maintained, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for learning. Overall, the facilities contribute positively to the student experience, helping ensure that resources are available to meet academic and practical needs.
Faculty: The teachers in the B.Tech program are generally supportive and well-qualified for their roles. They possess a solid understanding of the subjects they teach, making the learning process smooth. The quality of teaching is decent, with some educators excelling at explaining complex concepts, while a few can be a bit challenging to work with. Overall, the faculty ensures that students receive the necessary guidance to succeed. The course curriculum is well-structured and relevant to industry needs, providing a comprehensive education that prepares students for the professional world. This balance of theory and application makes the program beneficial.

Placements are decent and the campus is less crowded
Placements: In the last placements season, about 80% of students got placed, which is a good number compared to other colleges during the recession. The highest salary package offered is 35 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is 6 LPA (on campus). Top recruiting company is OYO Rooms. Only about 20% of students secured internships. Top role offered is a software developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of campus is quite good. Wi-Fi provides a good speed of 70 Mbps. Classrooms are well-equipped and fully air-conditioned. Library is quite good with a decent number of books. Hostel is quite nice compared to other colleges. Campus is clean and well-maintained. All sports are available on campus but they do not provide equipment.
Faculty: Some teachers are not at all knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also very bad. Some teachers present a slideshow on a topic and leave, while others provide brief information about the topic and expect students to research the topic themselves. The course curriculum is not relevant and doesn't make students industry-ready.
Other: There is no campus life at all. Only one fest is conducted in a year, which is also not great.

A review about BML Munjal University .
Placements: A decent amount of students were placed in the last term so as to say that it was better than a lot of private colleges. As for package, the highest package was around 40 lacs, the average was around 9 lacs, and the lowest was around 4-5 lacs. Decent placements are offered.
Infrastructure: Pretty good facilities overall, as there is good infrastructure. There are numerous labs for computer science students, and classes are held in those labs frequently as well. Wi-fi is somewhat consistent but still pretty decent. Classrooms are good as well.
Faculty: Teachers are good and supportive as well. All of them are adequately qualified for their jobs. All of them are knowledgeable as well. The quality of teaching is decent. Some teachers are really good, but some can be difficult ones as well. Course curriculum is definitely relevant.

Really good infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is 76.8%. The highest package was 32.99 Lacs, and the current average is 8.5 Lacs. Companies such as Yotta, Compliance, Starten Systems, and Care Health Insurance hire from this college. 100% of students from my batch secured internships, with companies like Coding Bits, DataFlair, BobbleAi, and Techno Geekz participating.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is excellent, with almost everything easily available and well-maintained. Wi-Fi is accessible throughout the campus. The library is open from 8 AM to 1:30 AM, making it very accessible. The labs are regularly maintained and cleaned. The library offers a range of course books, fictional novels, newspapers, and magazines. The hostel facilities are very good, with quality mess food. Some sports facilities, like cricket, could be improved, but the hostel includes everything a student needs, from AC to laundry services.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated and very helpful. Most faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees in their respective fields, which enhances their respectability and knowledge. The teaching methods are practical and applicable to real-life problems. The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. Semester exams are of medium difficulty, with a passing mark of 40 out of 100 in each course.
Other: I chose this course because it is highly relevant for the future and offers more job opportunities compared to other courses. It is interesting and addresses real-world problems, although it could include more coding components. An annual fest is held in March. The campus crowd is very good, though connectivity is an issue. Various scholarships are available, including Haryana Domicile Certificate, Dean’s Scholarship, Defense Award Scholarship, and Alumni Scholarship. There are 23 student-run clubs on campus, making life very vibrant.

BML Munjal University review .
Placements: Placements haven't happened yet for my course but my seniors have received below average placements for now, with a lot of them not getting placed as well. Currently the package they are getting is average of 5 Lacs and most below 10 with the exception of a select few who are even able to try for 10+ Lacs.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and library are all pretty good, Wi-Fi can go out sometimes but otherwise it's pretty decent. Labs, classrooms and library are fully air-conditioned and good. Mess food is mostly bad with some exceptions and medical facilities are awful. Sports and games are pretty good with an air-conditioned badminton court and a plethora of sports to choose from.
Faculty: Teaches are decent. Curriculum is generally easy to get by and exams are not too hard to pass especially with internal grading being good. Difficulty is there in getting good marks but to pass by it's super easy. Curriculum definitely does not help in becoming industry ready.

SOET BML Munjal University
Admission FAQs

Q:   Can I get School of Engineering and Technology, BML Munjal University, B Tech with 86 percentile in JEE Mains?

A:

Historically, BML Munjal University has accepted students with JEE Mains percentiles ranging from 80-90 for B Tech programs. However, this varies significantly based on the branch. More competitive branches like Computer Science and Electronics & Communication Engineering tend to have higher cutoffs, potentially exceeding the 90th percentile. Conversely, less popular branches may admit students with percentiles around the 80th mark.

Another crucial factor is the availability of seats. In recent years, BML Munjal University has seen a growing applicant pool, leading to increased competition for admission. This means that even with an 86 percentile, you may not be guaranteed a place in your desired branch.

Finally, your chances of admission may be influenced by reservation categories. If you belong to a reserved category, such as SC, ST, or OBC, you may benefit from lower cut-offs.
