Review of BML Munjal University.

Placements: Around 95% get placed. The highest salary package is 40 LPA and the average salary package is 8 LPA. Deloitte, Google, and Amazon are the recruiters. CSE, Mech, BBA, LLB, etc. are the courses available. College life remains a memorable time.

Infrastructure: Hostels, food, and sports facilities are good. Our college includes a library with vast books, labs for programming, classrooms, and smart boards very useful for learning. Wi-Fi is also available. Seminars are also conducted.

Faculty: Teaching quality is good. Semester exams are difficult and make the students ready for the next semester. A well-designed course ideal for new learning and reinforcing existing knowledge. It was presented with quizzes that engaged your cognition.

Other: CSE and IT got good placement history.

Overall, it is a good college.

Placements: Most of the companies coming for placements are for CSE students. Faculty members for ECE work hard to ensure that almost all students get placed. I got placed in August or September. Our management gives coding training for students if they wish to sit for CSE-based companies. Faculty members personally give training if students are interested in particular domains.

Infrastructure: For the 1st 2 years, our college had one type of connection, and speed and connectivity were also good. Later they changed to Sophos connection, but I started facing issues with my mobile. The connection app doesn't work properly. Frequent disconnection can be observed. The library is outstanding, and there are no complaints. Classrooms have great ventilation with an air-conditioning system. Labs are moderate. Most of the items needed for projects are available, but sometimes the equipment doesn't work. Even lab assistants can't solve it. However, basic items are available. There are plenty of places for sports. For university-level training, it is available, and for casual playing, small areas are also available. Students can play at night till 1 AM on the ground. The mess is a bit disappointing. However, they serve non-vegetarian food, but we have to pay separately, which is not included in the mess fee. Most of the time, food may be worse, but sometimes it is good. Hostels are good, but there is a problem with ventilation. Bathrooms depend on our roommates.

Faculty: Lecturers are of different types. Some of them are helpful. Some learn new subjects, and they teach it according to the current industry. Some of them are disappointing. The support from faculty members of ECE is very good. A lecturer named Rajiv helps students in placements. There are also other lecturers, and if they find students have an interest, they keep pushing them. Even if the lecturer doesn't have any idea, they redirect students to other lecturers. The course curriculum design was not that good as many other colleges teach data structures for ECE in the 1st year itself. They didn't teach data structures for us, but it was added to our juniors. Some subjects which were important for industries were skipped.

Other: I am from ECE, and I have chosen this stream as I was interested in mobile phones. A fest is conducted every year, and there are plenty of stalls at that time. Normally there is Dhabha which is good, and there is a small canteen, which usually closes at 9:30. There is a roll stall and a small snack stall. Recently they erected a stall, but they couldn't open it due to lockdown. There is nothing much around a 10 km radius of the college. There are 3 malls which are boring for someone coming from cities like Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, etc. However, if students can travel to Gurgaon, which is an hour, and bus journey is available all the time. Scholarships are available, and during my time, it was based on our JEE or inter exams score. It changed now, and there is an exam for the 2021 batch. There are many clubs for extracurricular activities, and if they are done seriously, students can earn in those areas. However, it is not provided by the college.

Good faculty, facilities and resources, but very poor in-terms of placements.

Placements: About 20% of students were only placed from ECE. the highest package offered-12LPA. the lowest-3.5 LPA. Synopsis, truechip are the top companies (core) recruiting. About 99% of students get intern at synopsis, truechip, TCS, WIPRO and many more. Graduate trainee engineer is the most offered post.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are world class though a bit costly, we get 40gb data over Wi-Fi for a week. All facilities like library, canteen, medical room are great and no doubt, high quality and maintenance. Lot of investment is also done for sports equipment and maintenance .

Faculty: All the faculty members are Ph.D. holders but as the case in every college few of the faculty are not at all talented but on the whole we can tell that they are decently good faculty. They are few exceptionally talented faculty who carry industry experience and help in making curriculum .

Other: ECE faculty apart from three all are mediocre, but enough support and resources are there for the ones who feel motivated to learn by themselves. All other extra activities like fest clubs are very much in action.

It has good infrastructure, food and clubs, a bit dissatisfied with teachers and average placements.

Placements: About 50% of the students were placed in our college. The lowest salary package offered was 3.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered was 9 LPA in the ECE branch. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The top role offered in our course is a design engineer. About 75% of the students got internships as it is a part of the course. Some companies hired 10% of the students through the interview process, and some of those companies are Synopsis and Qualcomm.

Infrastructure: There are labs like IoT lab and communications lab. Our college also has a clean room (which is number 1 in the country). Our college also has a vast library, good ventilated classrooms and 24 hours Wi-Fi facility. The quality of the food served is pretty good compared to other colleges, but it is not very spicy. There are many sports facilities, including cricket, volleyball, basketball, badminton, tennis, football and other small sports. The infrastructure of our college is really good, and there are nets for cricket and an indoor stadium for badminton. Our college has an in-house medical room, which provides 24 hours of assistance with a nurse and also 12 hours assistance by a general doctor. Once in a month, expert doctors visit the campus from Rockland hospital.

Faculty: Teachers here are pretty helpful and almost always available. If you want to study, then the campus is really good as there is no need to worry much as they also conduct open houses in every half-semester, take feedback on course curriculum, etc. They put more interest in students as the number of students is less. Although the quality of teaching is not up to the mark, there are some good teachers. But not all the teachers are informative and helpful, and all of them have PhDs. The course curriculum is really good as they designed it by considering the future and cover almost very good courses. They introduced a design thinking course, which many colleges do not have. It is a really important course nowadays.

Other: I really didn't know much about engineering and its things. The best thing about our course is I realised it in-depth. I wish there should be better teachers for some of the courses as they are pretty important. Clubs and societies are really very much active in our college, and hence fest organised is really good here. It is completely organised by students though they introduced a credit system for clubs and sports which I don't think is a good idea. The connectivity of the campus is hard as the university is 50 km far from the city. However, but the good thing is the surrounding villages have pretty much everything. Still, it is an issue.

Average Facilities, poor faculty, good infrastructure and bad placements.

Placements: Almost less than 10 people got placed in ECE 2016-2020 batch where 5 were placed in synopsis. Batch strength is 70 students and only 3 core companies came for recruitment. Top Recruiting Companies are Synopsis and Deloitte. System control engineer and Design Engineer were the roles offered. The highest Salary is 12 Lacs, the lowest salary is 3 Lacs and average package is 4.5 Lacs. 20 percent students got internship opportunities and the companies are L&T and synopsis.

Infrastructure: Three labs are available one is IOT lab, basic lab and communication lab. We can use 40 GB net per week. We can access library online. Projectors are installed in every class. Food Quality is good and there are 3-4 canteens. Zambar, Baker Street, Lazeez rolls and Dhaba. Sports facilities are excellent.

Faculty: Faculties are average there are only a few professors who are well qualified. Lack of communication skills and practical knowledge are negative. Course and Curriculum are relevant but there is a lack of experience for faculty. Internships are must for students.

Other: I was interested in semiconductors so I opted this course. Best thing is VLSI design. I wish the faculty could be better. Campus Crowd, connectivity, fests and events are really awesome you can enjoy them.
