Review of School of Mass Communication, VELS Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies.
Placements: Our college provides good placement opportunities in the final year. We are advised to attend internships for our betterment of work. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, Amazon, and TCS.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, friendly, and well-qualified. They provide notes. Exams are easy because our teachers are good. We can easily score good marks. They clear our doubts.
Other: Many events and fests are held in our college. Many top celebrities visit our college.

Our college has value for money.
Placements: Around 86% of students get placements from our course. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the lowest is 1.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, RRD, Wipro, TCS, and others. Students have to find internships on their own. Roles are offered in graphic design, 3D animation, and content writing.
Infrastructure: Facilities are very good. The infrastructure is very good and neat. The computer labs have new technology, which they keep updating with the new software needed for the course, such as Photoshop, Maya, 3ds Max, and others. The quality of the hostel food is good. There are no issues with the food.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They are very helpful in specialised fields. They are knowledgeable. They can clear up any doubts. The quality of teaching is high. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy only if you study for them. The pass percentage is 65%.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn visual communication. This is because visual communication is a way to communicate to a mass audience. There is nothing to improve because they taught us many things. Events are conducted twice every year. There are big events where many important people are invited.

Nice college. Worth for it.
Placements: There are campus placements for B.Sc visual communication students. You need to get first class marks in all the university exams. A lot of MNC companies recruit students from this university. Out of 100 students, 20 can easily get selected in campus interviews. Need to get 60% and above in all the university exams to get placed in MNC companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. The library is huge. We have a clinic on the campus (Apollo pharmacy). There is a Hi-Tech laboratory. The canteen food is costly but worth it. AC hostel rooms are provided for students who need it. Free Wi-Fi facility is provided. Separate blocks for every department are available.
Faculty: Very good faculty are available. There is a friendly teaching environment. The teachers are experienced. Practical and theory methods are used for teaching. A well-equipped multimedia studio is present. The quality of teaching is high. The college organizes visits to various media houses to build a relationship with the professional world.

Our college is absolutely waste of money.
Placements: The salary offered is Rs.49,000 per annum. Photography, editing, and cinematography are the roles offered. TCS, Accenture, and Wipro are the recruiting companies. There is poor placement training for which they charge Rs.2000. Our college is the worst and not worthy of money.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library were the worst. They are not maintaining the library clean and have poor management. Hostel food is very poor. Students suffer much because of hostel and mess food which should be noticed by the management.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful. Semester exams were not difficult. The pass percentage was 90%. Teachers were average and won't respond students at emergency. They care only about management and fee collection. If students didn't pay fee, they will remove their names from ERP.
Other: Events were poor. Food was poor during the food festival.

Its your own interest to learn.
Placements: The placements are not that much good.
They not bringing the company what the student expected.
They are bringing companies like policy taker.
Placement us not that much good here. NO good roles offered. No good salary package offered.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure but not that much great in infrastructure.
Its most likely you are in the school.
The events they conduct is the best one like nakshatra and other functions are great.
The teaching staffs are not always ready to teach the student.
Faculty: The staffs they are great in teaching but not that much good at that. Because they just want to finish the syllabus. But some staffs are sincere but some come to college for salary, not for the profession.
The college is improving them year by year.
