On Fees and Eligibility

Q:   Can I get B.Pharma at SOP Sharda University with 75 percentile in CUET?

A:

Your chances of being admitted to SOP Sharda University's B.Pharma programme with a 75th percentile on the CUET would rely on a number of things.

1. SOP Sharda Admission Requirements: As of October 26, 2023, SOP Sharda University had not disclosed the minimal CUET results required for admission to the B.Pharma programme in 2023–2024. It is so difficult to estimate your odds based only on your percentile.

2. Competition and Seat Availability: Your prospects will be affected by the number of applicants who have the same or better CUET scores as well as the overall number of B.Pharma seats available. Perhaps this information won't be easily accessible till nearer the time of admissions.

Great infrastructure, vibrant campus life, good scholarships, but faculty members' quality varies.
Placements: Around 65-100% of students got placed in this college. The highest salary package offered is 7 LPA. The lowest salary package offered varies from 2 LPA - 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Patanjali, Cipla, Sun Pharma, and Himalaya. Students also get internships in companies like Sun Pharma and Viola. Pharmacy assistant, medical representative, sales executive, researcher, pharmacist, and technician., are the roles offered.
Infrastructure: Sharda University provides a Wi-Fi-enabled campus. It has well-equipped pharmaceutical and chemistry laboratories. Classrooms are spacious and air-conditioned with projectors. It also has a resourceful library with textbooks, journals, and online research materials for D.Pharma students. Hostels have furnished rooms, along with Wi-Fi facilities 24/7. Mess food is varied. Medical center, sports facilities, and gym are available.
Faculty: At Sharda University, D.Pharma program likely has qualified faculty members with a mixture of theoretical and practical teaching methods. The D.Pharma curriculum at Sharda University is designed to be relevant, providing students with practical skills for industry readiness. Semester exams at Sharda University are challenging, requiring solid preparation, with pass percentages varying based on individual performance.
Other: I chose D.Pharma for its strong healthcare focus, offering practical skills, industry relevance, and opportunities in pharmaceuticals. I wish for more hands-on training, updated resources, and stronger industry connections to enhance practical learning and job readiness. Sharda University offers vibrant events, fests, strong campus connectivity, rich extracurricular activities, diverse surroundings, and scholarship opportunities.

Not satisfied because of the fees structure.
Placements: Very few students got placed in our college. I don't have any idea about the packages offered, but according to the information I got, the average package is around 1 to 3 LPA. Companies which came to the college for placements are not very big or good. Very few companies come to the college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. All the courses have very good here. All the labs and classrooms have AC, and Wi-Fi is available all over the university. Libraries are very well-maintained, and a majority of books are present here.
Faculty: The teachers are very talented and educated. Very few teachers are experienced. Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curricular activities are very useful and interesting. Exams are too hard. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in medicine.

Teachers are knowledgeable, placements are decent.
Placements: If you are totally into it, then you are surely going to get it. Actually, they provide 100% placements but few of the students go for abroad study and for higher studies, so they don't even sit for placements. Otherwise, you will get a job with decent packages.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in the campus as sharda Wi-Fi. Rooms of college have AC and are ventilated enough. Central library is one of the loved place in the campus for those who love calm places. The environment of library is study friendly. They have an indoor game courts too.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable but it's up to you how much you ask them for they will be interested if you are a really a willing student. Semester exams are normal but attendance is mandatory. They are very strict with attendance and all. They debarred students from exams if they have no minimum attendance.
Other: Chorus is the best function of sharda. Campus Life is good. Fests here are nice enough. Many extra curricular activities are here.

I was absolutely dissatisfied with this college because of poor placements.
Placements: Only 5% of students got placements with the highest salary of Rs.25000 per month and the lowest salary of Rs.12000 per month. Top recruiting companies were mostly the marketing and health insurance startups. Nobody got an internship from our course. Marketing representative and claim associate were the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: All facilities were available like labs, Wi-Fi, smartclasses, and a library. The quality of the hostel and sports were good. The food was average. Medical facilities were good college as it had its own hospital on campus. Canteens were in all corners of the university. So it was easy to eat anything at any time.
Faculty: In our college, teachers were well helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was above average. The curriculum was relevant to the course but did not make students industry-ready. Exams difficulty was above average if you work hard. The passing percentage was 50%.
