Our college is a way to get knowledge.
Placements: SCMS College of Polytechnics was founded in the year 1976. It offers diploma courses in various engineering and technical branches. Admissions to this college are strictly based on merit only. Students have to fill the application form online. With around 25 faculty members in the institution, the college imparts quality education in all the diploma specialised courses to meet the industrial needs in the trend. Placements in our college are not that much great. Our college offers some value-added courses to upskill the students in all possible ways. They also provide good placements in multi-national companies.
Infrastructure: The college has a huge library for the benefit of the students. Many sources are also available online so that they can be accessed without any hustle. The college provided a variety of labs in order to inculcate technical skills and expertise while pursuing the specialised diploma courses. The college provides hands-on experience to the students consists of a workshop room. It is well-equipped with drilling machines, smithy, carpentry, electrical work tools, etc. The college provides air-conditioned conference halls with projectors, audio systems, video conferencing, and other requirements for organising various academic-related events.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and excellent in the educational sector. The college has skilled teachers. The management has experience in the educational sector for more than 20 years. The pass percentage is 90%. The campus builds a perfect atmosphere to study and aim higher. They help us to build our careers by preparing us in a unique and disciplined way.

It is a very bad college. I suggest you do not opt for it, and you will regret the decision later.
Placements: There are 27,500 government seats and 85,000 management seats. About 10-20% of the students from our course got placed. Top recruiting companies do not visit our college for our batch placements. Our college does not provide an internship for students. There will be no good placement support from the college. If you find a job by yourself, then they will show it on the placement cell.
Infrastructure: There is no ground. It provides sports, but only participants can go to the ground and participate there. There is a library. There is no Wi-Fi facility for students, and it does not provide games. The computer lab is always full of people. Classrooms are well spacious, and there is a small canteen with no space. There is a medical room, but I have not seen it opened yet. Our college organises sports events for a full day or half-day.
Faculty: Teachers in our college teach us well. They are helpful and well-qualified. Their teaching quality is the only thing best in the college. Teachers in our department are well-supportive. The course curriculum only teaches us the basics of the industry, but it does not make students industry-ready.
Other: The only best thing in the college is the teachers, other than that there is nothing here. The campus life is not good. There is a lot of changes required as our college should conduct events, fests and extracurricular activities. Fests and events are organised at the college. An annual day is only a half-day event there.

Review of SCMS College of Polytechnics.
Placements: Placements were very good. Top recruiting companies visited our college for recruitment. Students who scored 70-90% of marks were eligible for placements.
Infrastructure: Around 5,000 books were available in the library. The library remained open from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Laboratories were well-equipped. All facilities were available such as carpentry, foundry, and basic electrical works. Workshop also had lathes drilling machines, round saws, etc. Computer laboratory had around 60 terminals. Internet connectivity was also available. Basketball and volleyball courts were available in this college. There was a decent library in this college.
Faculty: Teachers were very good. The course curriculum was very good. We had 6 semesters in this course. Two-semester exams were conducted each year. More than 6 subjects were available in this course.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. Many opportunities were available in this course. Our college should improve its infrastructure. Technical fests and cultural events were conducted in this college.

It is a good college for studies and placements.
Placements: We got good training for placements to meet industrial needs. Most of us are getting placed. Our college is bringing a lot of companies. Soft skills training is also provided by the college. Placements for the last batch were good. We got a good chance to do our internship at a good company.
Infrastructure: Our college has a large library with a good collection of books and magazines. We have a well-equipped computer lab with Wi-Fi. Our campus has the perfect atmosphere for study. We have special coaching for sports and games. Many inter-college competitions are conducted. Overall, it has a good infrastructure.
Faculty: We have well-qualified teachers. They are helping us in our studies. They are supporting us in curricular and extracurricular activities. A practical-oriented curriculum helps us get more placements. Many seminars and national webinars were conducted as a part of the department association.
