Satisfied with the infrastructure, cultural events, and four years of amazing college life.

Placements: The placements are average. The companies will come in every week, but almost most of them are IT based. To get the core company of your choice, then you can go to the placement pools conducting in nearby colleges. Infosys recruits the most and also Indian Army is one of the recruiters.

I am really satisfied with the college but the college gives more importance to academics.

Placements: Campus placement team did excellent work in bringing companies to the college. A lot of students got job offers from this. And they sent a lot of students to other colleges for attending placement session. The companies visiting for placements are mainly IT based companies. Only 2 or 3 companies are coming for mechanical, electronic and electronics. And nothing for civil. But, all the students from these batches are allowed to attend placements of IT-based companies. I won't blame the placement ...

One of the best in self financing colleges.

Placements: We were placed at Evobi Automation Pvt LTD, Bangalore in May. The company was not that good but still manageable. Placements were good. Many notable companies like Infosys, MRF, UST Global etc. visited for placements. The placements are nominal where people with good marks are placed first.

Good placements, infrastructure, and a great atmosphere.

Placements: Our college offers good placement opportunities. In the previous years, 35-40% of the students were placed. The main companies include UST, Global, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The previous year, we had placements from navy also. The average salary offered was about 35,000 per month.

Record placements in 2016

Placements: The campus always has record placements. If you are a computer science student, then you will be placed for sure, because this the only branch with more than 95% students being placed yearly. Tech giants like Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Sutherland, Ernst and Young, etc. all come in for campus selection. Infosys annually grabs 100 students from the college but this year, it was Sutherland that grabbed more than 100 students from various branches in 2016.

A good college that has almost everything.

Placements: The placement cell of the college is very active and is headed by our HOD. The placement cell organises pre-placement training to the students for enhancing their communication skills and soft skills. Also, the placement cell takes extra efforts to invite some reputed companies to the campus.

There is a good infrastructure in college and the faculty members are helpful and supportive to us.

Placements: Placement provided in college is low in number. IT & call center companies come to our college for placement the most. Core companies coming the to college are very less. Even if they come, they select only a few people. But most of the students got placed from the college. Most of them were placed in IT and call center companies.

Excellent faculty. A disciplined private institution with a good infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are reasonably well for a private college in Kerala. Our college has managed a good placement record over the years with companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Unisys, IBM and even the Indian Army and Navy recruiting. Although the placements were dull throughout Kerala this term, companies like Infosys, IVTL, etc. came to our college. IT companies are a majority of the recruiters while companies do not come by that easily. Hence, the jobs are mostly IT related. Internships were enco...

Excellent faculty and learning atmosphere, less sports and games activities, good infrastructure.

Placements: Placement record is pretty decent for our college. You have a good chance to get a job in IT field. Majority of the companies that visited our college for recruitments were IT companies. The major recruiter was Infosys. Placement offers from mechanical or automotive core companies are very less.

A very good college and worth the investment.

Placements: Infosys was the major recruiter. They had taken around 60 students. However, in the 2015 season, Infosys had taken around 120+ students. During my year, the reason for less placements might be due to the economic downturn affecting the world at that time. A lot of other companies had also visited the campus.

Good placements in 2015. Faculty support was good, Management had a lag in taking decisions.

Placements: Most of the students got the placements. Lot of companies approached the college for recruitment. Infosys recruited more number of people and the lowest salary offered was 15,000. The college has got good reputation, so it was easy to get internships. About 95% of the students did internship while pursuing the B.Tech. In my class, more than 40 students got placed.

You don't get freedom to dress or appear the way you wish (no beard especially).Teaching is good. they have a good library facility. Campus is almost good. Drinking water isn't too good even though there are filters present. Labs and workshops are nice and they provide an atmosphere for learning.

Nice college. Need to improve in different areas like placement and extracurricular activities. The faculty is good. College is little far away from the city. The hostel is good. There is a good mechanical lab at the college. Best growth observed now a days due to better management participation. One of the best private college in Kerala.

The college is known for its discipline and strict rules. Here the faculty is good and helpful. Placements are not at all good here. If you want job then you have to apply yourself in your target companies. Every year this college conducts a annual fest named IGNIZ which motivates all the students to participate and show showcase their talents on stage and win prizes. On other hand college the college allows students to take part in external fests also. Exams conducted here are tough which makes...

SSET provides a great atmosphere for learning and education. All the labs have facilities which has been updated as needed. The faculty members of SSET are friendly and can be approached at any time. The placements have been a priority for SSET, and the placement season starts around October for the final year students. Companies like Infosys, UST Global, and Kaynes Technology come for placements every year, offering an initial package of about rupees 5 lakhs per annum.

Excellent faculty with vast teaching experience. Very helpful and supportive regarding their respective subjects. The bad thing about this college is that there is very less support for extra-curricular activities and sports. So if you are into either of these, it is a big no. Placement assistance is good enough.

SSET is one of the best colleges in Kerala if you want to pursue a career in Engineering. As I've done my B. Tech in Automobile Engineering, I should say SSET provides the best lab facilities among all other Engineering Colleges with Automobile Departments. The faculty members are excellent. Their support is what encouraged us to learn more and more, explore deep into the topics, and come out with innovative ideas and lot more. Labs, library, drawing rooms, auditoriums are of good class.
