SCMS College Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Ernakulum

Placements: About 60% of students from the CS branch are getting placements. Packages will depend on the skills and interests of the companies. The average package should be around 2.5 LPA. If you have good coding skills, you could get around 6 LPA from good companies like Tata, IBM, Infosys, etc. top roles offering good packages are data scientist and software developer.

Placements: SCMS SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY is a prestigious institution that has shaped the lives of all of its students. Till 2022, placements were good. But now it is too bad. This year, about 15 percent only got scholarships. The top companies were Cognizant, etc.

Placements: There were 17 students. Six of them got placed. Infosys and TCS are the top recruiters. Many got internships in companies nearby. It is hard to get placed in a core company. If you have good grades, you'll get placed by more than 150 top recruiters every year.

Placements: I'm a mechanical engineering student of 2017-2021 batch. Around 50% of the students got placed from the campus. Highest salary package offered was 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was something 2 LPA. Placements for mechanical branch from the core companies was nil.

Placements: Placements in core companies were nill, whereas IT firms like Infosys hired about 50 students. The salary packages offered ranges from 3 LPA-3.5 LPA. Our college doesn't offer internships. There is a placement cell here, which is useful for providing information about companies.

The college is known for its discipline and strict rules. Here the faculty is good and helpful. Placements are not at all good here. If you want job then you have to apply yourself in your target companies. Every year this college conducts a annual fest named IGNIZ which motivates all the students to participate and show showcase their talents on stage and win prizes.
