Satisfied experience at this college, but it could have been better.
Placements: My batch of B.Sc. (Hons) Mathematics mostly contains boys in the class, and the placement percentage, as compared to other subjects, is less than other courses. But still, this course gets a lot of value, and the highest package goes up to 15 LPA and the minimum package is 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The facilities are quite decent in my college. It has a good canteen, but the construction is still going on in the college, which has prohibited access to certain places. The rest of the things are well-managed. The only requirement is air-conditioned classrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is not up to the mark; it is satisfactory. I don’t think the courses taught in college make students industry-ready until they enter one. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and doable.
Other: It was not my first option, but I had to go with it due to the value it had. The events and fest crowd could have been better at this college.

Absolutely satisfied from college infrastructure, staff. Good placement in 2021.
Placements: My batch contains almost 60 students, and almost 10% of students get placed every year. The highest package is INR 16.00.000 and the lowest package is INR 3,50,000.
Infrastructure: My college has good infrastructure and provides all the necessary facilities for students. The campus is well-maintained, and the classrooms and labs are well-equipped. The library is well-stocked, and the hostel facilities are good. Overall, I am satisfied with the infrastructure of my college.
Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and help students in so many ways, both inside and outside the classroom. The teachers are well qualified, and each has completed a PhD at a well-known educational institute. The semester exams are challenging for those who don't study, but otherwise they are quite easy.
Other: As I am from a mathematics background and have an interest in mathematics, I preferred to choose mathematics honours rather than other courses.

    Placements are more Commerce centric.
Placements: I was a B.Sc. Maths Hons student. SBSC is mostly a commerce centric college and the placements were again mostly commerce centric but there were some good companies like ZS, Aon, Mercer that came to college for all the courses. Top recruiters would be ZS Associate, Aon, Brain &Co (backed role), DE Shaw I don't think anyone got an internship through college. You have to go and secure that by yourself. Top roles offered in my course were Associate Consultant and the likes of those. From my course, the placement rate was very low because most Maths Hons students prefer to study further for Masters so only a few days for placements. I'd say 10-20% of the batch got into the companies that came into college. I was the only one who got into a consulting firm.
Infrastructure: Facilities: I really liked our library. There was always enough space for me to study on my own and the books I needed to issue for my course were almost always available, hence the number of books for Maths Hons were sufficient for the batch. The Labs are okayish. It's like a normal classroom with laptops. The Wi-Fi labs are fine. They're mostly used by Maths Hons students. Classrooms are like school classrooms, not what I had in mind with "university" halls. The sports ground is quite big, so that's a plus. Also, we don't have an amphitheatre. All the events take place in the area just Next to the GATE tents are setup there itself. I liked the lawns of SBSC. That's where I've attended so many fests, that was lovely. The Sandhya van was a place where I've had so many pleasant memories.
Faculty: The professors were knowledgeable, and obviously qualified. The teaching quality was good but to be honest, you do have to study quite a lot on your own in college, too. The course curriculum for B.Sc. Maths Hons in Delhi University should be updated, I beleive, with regards to adding more computer Science and Finance electives. The difficult of semester exams are obviously at par with Delhi University and it's hard to get an 8 pointer CGPA in my belief, in B.Sc. Maths Hons.

The golden period of my life.
Placements: If you want to be placed, then you will have to score at least a 9.5+ CGPA overall per year. The highest package was 30 LPA, and the lowest package was 4.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Tata Consultancy Service, Wipro and other government and private sectors. At least 60%–65% of students got internships from Internnexus, Makeinterns, etc. in college. If you are pursuing a BSc in mathematics, then after that, do an M.Sc., then a Ph.D., and you could become a professor at Delhi University.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is best on the South Campus. It's one of the best colleges in Delhi University. There is free Wi-Fi everywhere. The college has 6 labs with A.C. installed. Library is open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is no hostel in service. The canteen provides good food. They have limited sports equipment.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are very polite and generous. They teach us in a very simple and easy way that makes us understand topics very clearly. Almost every student scores an 8–10 CGPA every semester. The semester exams are very easy. If you have not prepared for the college exams, just solve the previous year's question paper, and you can easily get a 7-8 CGPA. The pass percentage in college is 80%–90%.
Other: I want to be a mathematics teacher so I chose this course. The best thing about this course is that you will enjoy doing and solving mathematics. It makes me happy. Our courses are practical for an individual subject; we want them to teach us deeply, not only the basics but also the advanced ones. There are very few events and fests held at our college. Everyone wants a fest to be held but no one comes. There are many societies that encourage us to take part in different activities. The surroundings are too good.

Good infrastructure and bad teaching faculty
Placements: I don't know much about the placements since I just started, but there are many good companies in the placement camp of the college. EY, Brain, and Co. have come for recruiting. The highest package was INR 22 lakhs, if I remember right. I don't think that undergrad placements matter. Undergrad is a place to find and know yourself better, improve communication skills, and make friends.
Infrastructure: I found it quite nice. The canteen outside has great food and is a great place to hang out with your friends. The ground is huge and has quite a good view. The ground has a basketball court, a tennis court, and a volleyball court. Our college also has table tennis. It's great in the springs just before monsoon.
Faculty: The math teaching faculty is average. There is not much innovation and out-of-the-box thinking in the initiatives taken by teachers. The lectures are very dull and boring. The lectures are very boring, and the teachers are not that supportive. The principal just changed this year, so he mandated attendance. It's very strict regarding attendance, but it's still not that strict at all. So if you skip classes and enjoy time with friends outside or inside the college, it's a very great experience.
Other: Maths is future. Physics and all sciences are connected to math.

Precise and concise based on facts, figures, and opinions.
Placements: My college has a good placement cell, but it is mostly limited to particular courses like BCom and BCom (H). However, all courses get the same opportunities. The highest package is 20 LPA, and the average is 4-5 LPA. Top recruiters are KPMG, Zomato, Ditto, Carpl AI, and DeShaw.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is improving in my college, and there is construction going on right now, but the main problem is with classrooms and the comfort level. I want air-conditioned classrooms so that it feels better, plus improvements in Wi-Fi facilities and the library.
Faculty: Teachers are good in my college, but they lack discipline. The management should be improved, and the teachers only stick to the curriculum. I don’t think the students become industry-ready. Exams are of moderate difficulty, and the passing CGPA is above 4.
