College of Commerce with Commercial Knowledge and skills.

Faculty: The course structure is determined by Delhi University, but in terms of teaching methods, I believe the faculty could engage students more effectively. Teachers should focus on providing new learning opportunities rather than promoting rote learning. The curriculum could also benefit from some modernization. I am pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce, and I opted for this course as I was not fully aware of other options at the time. Additionally, not having studied Maths in 12th grade limited my choic...

Dissatisfied because of overall infrastructure.

Faculty: The teachers are not well qualified and knowledgeable. They do not provide enough resources for study so that students can perform well in the examinations. Our course is not curriculum-relevant because not much happens apart from studies and lectures.

The really disciplined college with a good principal.

Review of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.

Faculty: Our teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching style is not quite appropriate or up to the mark. They just teach to complete the syllabus. The course does not make students industry-ready. Practical knowledge makes students industry-ready. The difficulty level of exams is moderate.

Lacking in education in 2021. You need to work on your skills .

Faculty: Some of teachers are really good; you can raise your hand hundreds of times for your doubts; they will help you but some teachers ignore them. That's why we need tuition for specific subjects. The difficulty level of exams is just medium. For passing marks, you need to score 33.5 percent.

A good to go for keeping a step forward to your future.

Faculty: Faculty and teachers are very helpful and supportive. They always help with doubts. They also help in the library, lectures, and exam seasons. Shaheed Bhagat Singh College named after the great son of India, Shaheed-e-Azam, Sardar Bhagat Singh, was established as a co-educational institute in 1967, as one of the constituent colleges at University of Delhi. It acquired postgraduate status in a record time of 7 years. The college proudly celebrated its golden jubilee Year in 2016-17.

The placement is pretty good, attendance issue is there, and no fests .

Faculty: The main core subjects are pretty industry-oriented, like tally helps us in getting jobs, but the SEC, VAC, and AEC are just timepass and don't add any value. The teachers are all Ph.D. or postgraduate holders. They are very supportive, and they also take classes regularly.

Satisfied experience at this college, but it could have been better.

Faculty: Teachers are very well-qualified and knowledgeable, but the teaching quality is not up to the mark; it is satisfactory. I don’t think the courses taught in college make students industry-ready until they enter one. The difficulty level of the exam is moderate and doable.

Average college! But the teachers are hired from top institutes.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, experienced, and full of knowledge. The course curriculum is selected and implemented in a way that it gives in-depth knowledge of the subject. Attendance is not an issue, hence, the students don't take the subject seriously until the exams time.

Review of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.

Faculty: Really amazing faculty and curriculum. There is a lot of curriculum, like cultural events and numerous conferences we do in the college and a lot of seminars with the people who will provide us with a wider perspective towards life. So we can make ourselves the best.

Good placement every year and best evening college.

Faculty: The faculty are very helpful and motivating, and they have a lot of knowledge and experience. In our course, we study practical subjects like negotiation and leadership, cybersecurity, and many more. The semester exams are conducted once every six months, and they are decent—not too easy and not too difficult.

Review of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, University of Delhi.

Faculty: If we talk about the course curriculum only, BCom has no scope for the future; they do not make you industry-ready; you have to work on your skills so that you don't face any kind of difficulty in the future . Teachers are quite supportive and qualified as well; they always give us genuine advice for the future. The level of semester exams is average; you don't need to take a lot of pressure to score a good CGPA. The passing percentage of the college is equal to the University of Delhi curriculu...
