Review of JECRC University.

Placements: No companies come here for placements. 1 or 2 companies came at our time for marketing roles, and no one sits in placement for this role. Once Infosys came here for recruitment, but don't know when. So, for placement purposes, it is not good at all. For taking a college degree, prefer this.

Not so worthy to get into it because of poor placement.

Placements: For my duration in college from 2014 to 2018, only one company came for campus placement, Avaids Technology where I got placed. For other branches, very few company visit the college for placement. At my time there were no such internship programme. You could only visit NPTEL website for education and Certificate programme by IIT.

Our college helps you to complete your degree.

Placements: Around 2-3 companies came when I was in the final year, which doesn't belong to our core branch. Still, we sit in the interview, and after the final round is completed, they say this job does not suit your profile. They suggest joining in some other company. It is a time pass of full-day when any 3rd-grade company comes for campus drive.

Overall, the college deserves to be given a chance.

Placements: There were only 2-3 companies offering placement in my college. The highest salary offered was only Rs.15,000. Only 2 students got selected in the companies. There is a placement cell in the college but of not much use. The companies were of state level, so can't remember their names as well.

Dissatisfied with the placement and the university.

Placements: There are no placements for average and below average students. A few topper students got the placement like 2-5 students in my branch with salaries of 10-25K per month is offered. The companies like KCL, Power Grids, Indian army, HCL etc., visit the campus. In the view of the placement, it is not good college but for those who only want to have a B.tech degree can go for it.

The college is like a school.

Placements: The placements on the campus are the worst. They showed lots of placement opportunities in the college prospects, but all are false. On the name of placement, the students are sent to call centre or the 3rd class companies. Before taking the information in this college, read this column.

An average college with poor placements

Placements: Placements were poor as around 50% of the batch got placed. Companies which came to the campus were HCL, L&T and Toluna. They offered roles like market research analyst and the package ranged around 2-6 LPA. The internship was not compulsory as a part of the curriculum.

It was like a government school, where there is no discipline, facilities, bad food, politics among students, no one were helpful, Wi-Fi was a dream, no activity against bad sectors, poor communication among each other and there was no first aid service or an ambulance for any medical emergency.

I went to "Shankara Institute of Technology" for undergraduate studies and I cannot say enough positive things about it. But overall I can say that I really enjoyed college life. It was a college full of bright people from all over India and located in Jaipur (Rajasthan). What attracted me to it was the location and relatively small size of the student body. It was nice to be close to the historical places.
