Disgusting campus, very bad college life and no placements.
Placements: In my course only 5 to 8% of students were placed from the campus placement drive. The highest package offered this year was around only 12 Lacs per annum and the lowest package was around 4 Lacs per annum thereby the average package was around 7 Lacs. Top recruiting companies which came for selecting students for the purpose of job were wipro, barclays and tata aig. Around only 12% of students only git the internship opportunity excluding me. I don't know about the top roles offered by the company. So overall if we talk about the placement side from this college it is the worst part of the college, and this college also does not have courses for post graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is too bad for passing 3 years of undergraduation in this college. No WI-FI in the campus, only a lab is there in the college that is the computer lab that is also with very less number of computers. Library is excellent in this college as it has plenty of study material for the students. There is no hostel in the campus. A small canteen is present in the campus with very less variety of food. Medical facilities are average. No sports and games were arranged since the last 2 years of my college life. So I won't recommend this college to those people who are looking for some enjoyment with studies.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and qualified and their knowledge is brilliant about their respective subjects. Teaching qualities of the teachers are good they are polite and helpfuk towards all the students and helps the students for their assignments and exams in a excellent way. Our college is affiliated under vikram university so the exam papers come from there. Our college does not arrange the exams they just make students ready for the exams. In my course there is only theoretical knowledge is present. No projects were given to us for development of our personality. Our course not really makes us industry ready. The exams are not that difficult and are very easy to pass. Passing percentage are 24 out of 80 and 20 marks for assignments.
Other: I chose this course for taking knowledge in finance and business sector. There is no such best things in my course but it covers all the commerce related topics in 3 years. For improvement in my course there should be more things than just books knowledge, like practical works related to commerce. Events like rangoli competitions and small activities are organised. Campus crowd is more as compared to students in one class there are around 75 students in my class which is a hude number for one class, campus sorrounds are really bad because playground is not well maintained and very small parking facility, scholarship are provided by caste basis and only to minority sector of students. Only 1 to 2 extracurricular activities are organised within the range of 4 to 5 months. I would NIT recommend this college for the students who are looking for a enjoyment, just don't waste your 3 years of college life by coming to this college, the only thing you will get is only studies and boring college life.
