Satisfied because of placements.

Placements: Placements in biomedical engineering from SGSITS are pretty good. If you can maintain an average pointer, you can get an average package from the campus selection. This year (2017), 5 students were placed in FMI company with the package of 4.5 lpa each. The placement is about 100% from this branch. (100% placements means the students who were eligible to sit in the interview got placed). Last year's highest package (18 lpa) from the college was from BME only. ...

Okay faculty and cut throat competition.

Placements: Placements for CS and IT branch are above average. The other branches have to search and put in extra efforts. EC and EI placements are also fine. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Honda and Future First are some of the shining names that pick up students from GSITS. The on paper placement for CS, IT and EC is 90-100% but the reality is that most of the bright minds opt for higher education (GRE, GATE, CAT). Top ranks in these exams are bagged by the students of SGSITS. ...

Everything what you need to know about Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science

Placements: The placement percentage of SGSITS in the year 2015-16 was very good. More than 1,000 students were placed in that year in which 95% of the total SGSITS students were sitting in the job interview. The average package lies between 3-5 lakh per annum and the highest placed package was 12.5 lakhs per annum which was quite a handsome amount.

Great opportunity to learn from the most experienced faculty

Placements: The training and placement cell is working hard to get core companies to the college. A few years back, companies like L&T used to come to the college. In the year 2016, 29 students were placed with the highest package of 9 lacks. The average package offered to the students is 3-4 lakhs. More than 30 companies offer jobs to students of different streams. Companies like Infosys, Accenture, Deloitte, Future First, etc. take a lot of students offering great packages. ...

A great institute with great opportunities.

Placements: Placements are not a big issue here. Good companies visit to offer placement such as Deloitte, Snapdeal, etc. and they offer decent packages. The institute has an active and efficient training and placement office.

Being at SGSITS is better than good.

Placements: SGSITS Indore is a good college in terms of placements. Many good MNCs come to this college for campus selection. The placements for mechanical, CST and IT are much better than for other branches but other branches do have good placements. The highest package for my branch i.e. EI was 10 lakh per annum. But there is a race for being placed in companies which offer high packages. Apart from that, companies that recruit in bulk usually get around 60% of the students placed. ...

SGSITS, best college in Madhya Pradesh for engineering.

Placements: SGSITS is considered as one of the best institutes in our country. The placement of our college is awesome. It is very rare if some one who is pass out from my college and still unemployed!! That is enough to say what our college is. Well, numerous companies visited our college like TCS, Infosys, Zensar, Zycus, Musigma, Yash Technology, Microsoft, Asian Paints and many more. Average package was 4.5 LPA and lowest was 3.4 and highest was 18 LPA. Excellent TPO cell. ...

Absolutely satisfied of faculty, placements and practice in labs

Placements: During placements of my batch, 46 students got placed out of 60. 25 student cleared GATE and got placed in PSUs. Lots of students cracked other exams such as MPPSC and IES. Most of the students get good ranks in GATE-15 and now, they are pursuing postgraduation in different IITs an NITs.

It's really worth the money.

Placements: Being a top government college, situated in the education hub of Madhya Pradesh, there is plenty of placement opportunities for all branches. The average package is around 5 lacs for CS and IT branch. Around 25 companies visited in 2016 and by the beginning of last semester, almost all eligible student had two to three offers.

Satisfied with the faculty and the infrastructure. But the placements are a reason to worry about.

Placements: Placements are not very good. But you can get an average package of 4 lakhs/annum. Core companies of CSE, IT, mechanical, and electrical visit the campus. Rest branches students got placed only in software companies like Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. Basically, only CS, IT, and EC students get placed in bulk i.e. approx 70-80%. Other branches students have to fight for placements. The core companies of mechanical like Suzuki Motors, Eicher etc. visit campus every year. Aakash Coaching Institut...

2nd best engineering college in MP, so not completely dissatisfied and placements are average.

Placements: Senior batches' placements are quite satisfactory. 70% of students were placed. The highest package was in Mu Sigma, SAP Labs and IITiam at around 10 lacs. There are almost all one-day companies visiting our college. But you will not find dream companies like Google, Microsoft and Facebook. You have to compromise so much if you dream for very large improvement means high packages and opportunities if you think for the better career. If you are an IT student, then nothing to do in the classes you...

Better than most but definitely not the best.

Placements: In computer science and information technology, placements are almost 100%. But only a few big companies like Deloitte, SAP Labs, IIITEM, MU Sigma visit the campus with the highest package 10 lakhs. In 2017, IIITEM offered 9.7 lakhs to 2 students, Deloitte offered nearly 6 lakhs to 5 students, SAP Labs offered around 7 lakhs and rest were placed in Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro with packages of around 3.3 lakhs. So leaving 10 students, all got a package of 3.3 lakhs or above. Only a few student...

SGSITS: review by a person who is in the college!

Placements: The companies that approach SGSITS are generally companies with crowd mentalities and they will hire everyone. It is not astonishing to see that SGSITS has a 90% placement ratio, which compares to most IITs and NITs. But again, the level of packages have a huge contrast. The average package that I heard of, which might be factually wrong, is 3-4 lakhs, which is not a lot.

Sure shot of success if the student gets proper direction and if he/she works in that direction.

Placements: The placement section of the college has been through its several ups and downs. There are various core companies in the branch of computer science like Ittiam, Cognizant etc. which offered a great salary of about 7-10 lacs per annum while there are certain day-one companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro which offered an average salary of about 3-5 lacs per annum. There are several consultancy companies and management companies like Deloitte and FuturesFirst which recruit students from our campus. Th...

Placements: Placements here are above good. The only concern is that core companies do not visit often and most of the people go towards IT sector. In mechanical branch, there are lots of company visiting the college as well as for the CS and IT branch. But for EC, EI and CE, you can not expect much. Some good banks and analytics companies also visit the college often, like Wells Fargo, Mu Sigma, Future First. They are good companies if you want to make a career in that field. Placements: The placement is good. The average package for last year was 4-5 lacs and the highest package from the college is 9.2 lacs. Many companies including TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Saplab, Deloitte etc. visit our college and provide placement to various other college students. Also teaching institutes like Akash visit our college and hire the students for teaching.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, the college in not good in civil engineering. As for the other branches, however, if you are good with coding you can probably get into IT firms like TCS, Infosys, Wipro etc. In my college time, only two core companies (which were some local firms) for civil engineering visited the college and provided a package of 3 LPA. Placements: Placements are good for core branches. 80%-90% batch get placed. The major companies coming for recruitment are Adobe, Eicher, Asian Paints, Force Motors, Infosys, Wipro, Honda and many more. The average package here is in between 4-5 LPA. Placements: The placements in SGSITS is amazingly good and best as compared to other colleges in M.P. My seniors were placed in MNCs like Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, Eicher etc. They get an average salary package of around 5.5 lakhs/annum. The placement of batch 2016 pass out is approx. 95% (eligible students.) The highest package is given by coaching institutes like Akash, which is around 7-9 lakhs and the lowest is around 3.75 by Mahle. The internships are also good.
