Placements: As far as placement is concerned in SGSITS, overall it is above average. But in information technology and computer branch, it is good. The percentage of students who got placed per year is near about 65% but in IT and CS branch, it is more than 80%. The highest and lowest salary offered by the company is 10 lac per annum and 3.25 lac per annum respectively. There are many companies which visit like Cognizant, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, Sap Labs, Ittiam, Deloitte, Futures First, Asian Paint...
Placements: The senior batch placements were good. About 70% students got placed overall. The highest package offer was Rs. 7.25 Lakhs, the average offer was Rs. 4.24 Lakhs and the lowest was Rs. 2.3 Lakhs. Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, ASAP, Delloit and many other companies visited the campus. The roles offered varies with the company's norms and requirement. They did not get any internships from the college.
Placements: The placement here is quite impressive as the students are also talented and have the ability to grab the opportunity. The placement rate is about 100%. The highest package offered is about 10 lakhs per annum by Snapdeal and the lowest is approx 3.75 lakhs per annum. The average package offered by the companies is near about 5 lakhs per annum. Companies like Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, Eicher, Honda etc visited our campus.
Placements: Almost everyone got placed. Half of us were in day 1 companies like Infosys, Cognizant. But some of us do have really good packages in good companies. Highest package from our batch was about 9.5 lpa and lowest was 3.5. Since I was in IT, mainly junior developer profile was offered. And if you're looking for internship, the college is not much of help. Here, you have to do a lot of work. If you're an average student, you'll get placement- not extraordinary but you'll survive. And few good compan...
Placements: More than 50% students get placed, and the ratio of placements is better in non-core branches than in core branches. 400 placements take place every year, but this year, there is a shortage of placements due to the economic recession. The highest salary was 12 lakhs per annum, the lowest is 3.2 lakhs per annum and the average is 4 lakhs. Wipro, Infosys, Tata Tech, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, Ithium, Deloitte, Shakti Pump, Capgemini, Cognizant etc are the companies which visited the campus. Vari...
Placements: The placements were above average for me and my senior batch. i was having a CGPA of 7.1 and I got placed in Futures First with a package of 9.2 lakhs. The placement policies are also good which allow you to take the placement in more than 1 day-1 companies i.e TCS, Infosys, Cognizant and Wipro which are regular visitors and provide mass placements, with a package ranging from 3.2 to 3.40 lakhs and you can sit for them altogether. The highest package offered was 21 lakhs and the lowest is 3.2 la...
Placements: Placements for the batch were below par. Total 40 students (around 100 students sat for placements) of civil engineering batch got placements in Day-1 companies, out of which 27 were placed in Infosys, 5 in Cognizant, 1 in Mu Sigma and around 10 - 15 people in Wipro. Companies which visit SGSITS for placements are- Core- 1. Saint Gobain (GET) 2. Agarwal Builders (GET) 3. L&T (GET) 4. Parth Construction (GET) 5. Adobe 6. Deloitte 7. Asian Paints 8. Trident 9. Eicher Non-Core- 1. Sterlite 2. Mu Si...
Placements: I'm a pre-final year student. The companies that visited for placement are- Asian Paints, Fiat, Honda, Suzuki, Vedanta, Future First, Zykus and Delloite. For internship, the company was either Volvo or Ethium. The average package is 3 lakhs, offered by companies like Infosys etc., while in core companies you will get above 6 lakhs. Asian Paints offers 7.5 lakhs.
Placements: The placement sessions depend on the past record of the rate of students joining and leaving the company in a particular period. SGSITS, Indore had a good number of placements in 2016 as compared to 2015, with increased average salary. Out of 800, 650 got placed approximately in our batch with offers more than 1100. Companies that visited were mostly branch specific. ME - Tata, Mahindra, Asian Paints, VE, Balco. IP - Trident Group, TCS, Infy, Capgemini, Musigma etc. CS/IT - SAP, IITIAM, Deloitt...
Placements: The placements were quite good as so many of the seniors were placed. Some of them were even placed in Asian Paints and Wipro VLSI which have given a package of 8-9 lakhs. 70% of students were placed. The companies included TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Deloitte. The internship percentage is less as students who got internships were less in number. Most of them did internships which were unpaid.
Placements: In electrical engineering, you will surely get placed if you are maintaining average pointers of 6 and all your education, i.e., 10th and 12th are above 60%. To get a good placement, just like any other college you need to get some other skills along with the degree. Almost, 40% of the students get into the good companies.
Placements: No big companies comes for campus placement but one can start with the SMEs coming to the college for placement and these companies are good for learning and understanding Indore market. Though the placement cell provides you many opportunities but not in MNCs. Actually, this institute can provide you the facilities and resource only, and by using these resources one can place himself/herself by his/her own effort, which is again a great experience. As this is not a private college, it belongs t...
Placements: The college SGSITS is famous for its decent placement percentage. Except the civil engineering and mechanical engineering branches, in all other branches, the placement percentage was more than 75% (in 2015-16). The companies like Deloitte, Mu-sigma, Vedanta, Ittiam, SAP Labs, Capgemini, Asian Paints, Indian Steel and many more renowned companies visit the campus almost every year for placing the students. The average package was around 4-5 lacs per annum, the maximum was 18 lacs (for 3 years of...
Placements: The placements' stats are not at all comparable to the IITs and IIITs. Here , a majority of companies that visit are service-based companies. In 2016, SAP Labs and Adobe are the only two product-based companies which visited with a package of 6 LPA and 9 LPA. The rest of the companies are mass recruiters except Deloitte , Mu-Sigma , and Infobeans. In total, around 15-20 companies visited with only two as good ones(but Adobe was also for testing). So, the placements are not very good. A majority...
The college is ranked no.1 in the state and 25th in the country. It is an autonomous college, which means it get financing from the government but degree which a student gets is form Rajeev Gandhi Vishwa Vidyalya (RGVP). Infrastructure is good, but don't expect it to be as IIT's. Anyone can survive here. Faculty is one of the best here. They are really good and helps you out in any case. Placements are good as well as 95% of the students get placed from here (in core ones).
Its a renowned autonomous college with an overall ranking 37 in India's topmost engineering college list. The return on investment is superb and good companies like Microsoft and SAP visit the campus. Backed up with a good alumni base, it feels wonderful to be a part of this college.
The three categories I will be talking about the college will be: 1. Infrastructure- It is situated in the centre of the city, is in an area of about 85000 sq. km. The campus of the institute has amenities like a co-operative store, a dispensary, a bank, a canteen, a staff quarters, hostels, a gymnasium, a sports complex, etc. Very soon, there will be a post office inside the campus as well. 2. Placements- One of the best qualities of this college is that it has got an ample number of placement...
Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science is a top-ranked college of Madhya Pradesh and is one of the oldest colleges in the state. It has always maintained its legacy among the top colleges. Although the infrastructure is not so good and exposure for the students is less, the faculties are great and very experienced. The placement here has always been fair enough. Top engineering recruiters always show their presence during placements. Basic facilities like canteen, library, ...
It does not have good faculty for Information technology but has a good faculty for other departments. It is the best for the mechanical branch. The best thing about this college is that it is situated in the middle of the city Madhya Pradesh. It has low fee if you are a minor student.
