SGSITS Indore located at the heart of the city is one of the finest college of the state with students glorifying its name in all fields whether it is technical or non-technical, research or development, sports or racing. The faculties here are good and helping. The management is poor and the administration here is worst.

The college has a very good placement record. Companies like Microsoft, SAP LABS, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Snapdeal, and Infosys came for placements. It has an experienced faculty. The college is located in the middle of the city. However, the infrastructure is not that great, as it is an older college.

It is an autonomous engineering college. It is ranked 35th in India including IITS and NITS and 2nd in MP. Admission is done on the basis of MPPET exam held every year in the month of May. I am living in the hostel and I am so much impressed with its location that I never want to leave this place. It has very highly qualified staff. It provides engineering in six different departments and recently they have started MBA program also. Placement is also good. In 2015 batch, out of around 650 stude...

Very good college for engineering. This college is very strict in discipline and you have to attend the classes as at least 75% attendance is required. All in all this college is very good for study purpose and the campus is located inside the city which is also an added advantage.

Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science review.

Placements: The average salary is low, and most students around 80% get jobs at companies like Infosys and Accenture in the 3-5 LPA range. Mechanical engineering has better opportunities than other departments. For computer science and IT, Microsoft is the only dream company that recruits on campus. Companies like Amazon, Google, Oracle, Adobe, and Goldman Sachs do not recruit on campus.

Poor infrastructure but good in acedamics.

Placements: I am in civil engineering branch although I am in first year so I don't know much about the placements but i have talked to few seniors and they said that placements of core branches are not that good, like they are pretty average. Placements ratio is decent though, you can easily get placed if you are an average student.

Good to go but should try for better.

Placements: Placements are average enough between 10-20 lakhs but few have also got more because of their skills. So if you have skills, you need not to worry. Looking as per branches, CS, IT and ECE are good if you want to go in software industry. For the core branches, faculty and curriculum are great enough as per GATE requirements.
