It is a good college with good exposure to sports and other extracurricular activities.
Placements: Top roles offered are MO, JR., and general physician. As of 2023, interns will be paid Rs. 20,000 per month. The internship stipend increases with time.
Infrastructure: Our hospital was initially built by the central government. Our college provides excellent infrastructure. The college was initially an ESIC college. It still has a reserved quota for ESIC. The hostel facilities are good. Mess facilities are average. Changes are implied from time to time. As the college is quite new, there is scope for improvement. The laboratory has the proper equipment for the whole batch.
Faculty: Our teachers are upgrading day by day. Teachers are improving each day. The clinic professors are good. The curriculum runs under MCI guidelines. All lectures run according to MBBS competencies.
Other: Our college organises a fest named IRIS every year. The campus crowd is from different states all over India, with a majority of them from Himachal.

One of the best colleges for MBBS.
Placements: There are no campus interviews in medical colleges. After 4 years, students are supposed to do 1 year of internship for which they are paid. The current salary for an intern is Rs. 17,500 per month. As of 2017, this is the first batch of this college that is currently in an internship, so no information about the placements can be provided by anyone until or unless their internship is over and they try applying for jobs.
Infrastructure: This college has the best infrastructure compared to other colleges in Himachal Pradesh. AIIMS Bilaspur, which is a newly opened college, might have better infrastructure when compared to the rest of the medical colleges in Himachal Pradesh. The hostels are quite good, but they are not properly maintained. The food is not that good.
Faculty: The teachers in clinical subjects are really good at the work they do. But they might not teach with the same enthusiasm. However, it should be noted that the situation is the same in other colleges as well. The teachers of non-clinical subjects are kind of balanced. Some of them are excellent, while others are quite good. The semester exams are normal as they are the same standard exams given in all colleges. After an internship, it can be said that students are industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because doing MBBS was my dream. Fests conducted in our college is one of the best ones in Himachal Pradesh and includes different activities.

The best infrastructure of the college and campus among the medical colleges of Himachal.
Placements: There are 120 MBBS seats in a batch, my college is in Nerchowk, a small city in the district mandi. In the internship, you'll get a stipend of 20 thousand and after MBBS you can earn up to 1 Lacs monthly depending on your skill and the state in which you are applying for the job.
Infrastructure: Single room is given to students after 2nd year. Mess is okay. No Wi-Fi facility. Indoor sports are available like TT. Badminton court is really good (YONEX) Fest known as IRIS happens every year during intercollege events. The quality of the food is not so good. There are medical facilities available in the hospital.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified doctors. Semester exams are moderately difficult. There is college dress in 1st year after that no official uniform. The syllabus is very vast, study regularly and consistently. Always attend clinical classes, the minimum attendance required to sit in exams is 75%.
Other: Library facility is also available from 9 am to 10 pm. The hospital patient ratio in OPD is good.

The college provides great education and great infrastructure.
Placements: A total of 120 students are there in a year for MBBS. An MBBS doctor gets around 1-1.5 Lacs per month as a starting salary. Our college provides jobs to their passed-out students. However, students can also get a job in other locations too. Students get internships after completing the academic part and do their internship in hospitals linked to this college.
Infrastructure: The college has all the departments related to this course. The labs are equipped with all the relevant tools and chemicals. The hostel rooms are very spacious, but the mess food is not that good. It can be improved. This college has a central library (which is the main attraction), 2 badminton courts, gym, recreation rooms, table tennis, and many more.
Faculty: The teachers are very knowledgeable and very helpful. They follow all the guidelines for the new curriculum for MBBS issued by NMC. The study is competency-based. The exams are tough, but students can easily pass if studied well for the whole year. In India, 50% is the passing marks required separately in theory and practicals.
Other: Our college organises many cultural events and fests, but they can't be organised from last 2 years due to pandemic.

I am more than satisfied because in College, apart from studies, you need good environment around.
Placements: Around 90% of students are placed in my course. The highest package, if you are not pursuing post-graduation, is Rs 80k per month and the maximum package can stretch up to 1.2 Lac per month. Most students prefer private hospitals for internship training but government hospitals also provide good pay.
Infrastructure: Our college was initially under the central government, and it has been 5 years since it started. So the central government invested a great amount of money in the college infrastructure. We have furniture of excellent quality in our hostels and college. Also, there is a very good library here.
Faculty: We have government-selected Professors who are properly educated. Well-qualified staff cum teachers are also available in our college. Due to their personal experience in this field, the student-to-teacher relationship is a lot better than in other colleges. We have planned examinations thrice a year with regular tests.
Other: I preferred this course because I think this is the only course where you get respect with money. And also, I wanted to do a lot of good in my life. I wish our college could improve in providing more practical knowledge.
