Decent college in Udupi, good for academics, no support for extracurricular activities.

Placements: Around 80% of the students were placed, average CTC was around 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, infosys, Sasken recruited from SMVITM. Most of the roles assigned were course related. Mostly CSE and ECE students got placed in the companies, but mechanical and civil engineers didnt have placement support.

College has good infrastructure, but is dissatisfied because of campus selection.

Placements: There are no placements in my course and no companies come for my course. There are no good internships. It's hard to get scholarships. College schedule is not working toward that. Very few people join internships and there are no placements after graduation.

I recommend students to join this college.

Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.3 LPA. Top recruiter was SAP in 2016. Internships are provided by the college since 2018 but are not paid. Students can do internships outside the college.

It's a good place to build a proper career without having a desire to enjoy college life completely.

Placements: Around 35%-40% of students get placed from here. The highest salary package offered was around 7.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Around 90% of students got internships in various companies such as Robosoft, Ashman, etc., in different fields such as data science, web development, etc. Top companies which visit here include TCS, Infosys, IBM, etc.

The college needs improvement when it comes to placements.

Placements: Placements in our college were less. However, one needs to have good skill sets to compete with the market. Apart from that, there were some workshops and even some seminars conducted. There wasn't any good company which turned out when we passed out the college.

There are good placements here from last 2 years.

Placements: About 20% of the students got placed in the company. Until now, only one company visited the campus for placements. I don't know how much salary they offered. TCS is the top recruiting company to our college for now. I didn't get the job, so I don't know about the roles offered. The salary package offered in our course is around 3 LPA. In our course, internships are mandatory, so every student got the internship.

Its a very good college and the fees less compared to other colleges.

Placements: Placements were really not that great. But now we got a new placement officer after which we got lot of drive to attend. The placement department arranges events to teach students how to face campus recruitment tests that include aptitude, group discussion, and face to face interviews.

Satisfied with the infrastructure, faculty, and surroundings but not very good placement facilities.

Placements: The placements for my batch students was good but not that great. In my class of 60, about 25 have gotten placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered was around 4 LPA. The lowest salary package was about 1 LPA. Companies like ABC, Diya, Q spiders, AppNM, Bangalore infotech, Face, Empowersys technology, Pathfront etc. Visited our college. Roles like junior software engineer, software testing etc. Were offered. A few internships were given but they were not of too much import...

Good infrastructure, faculty members, various facilities? And classrooms.

Placements: Since it's young college they are trying very hard to bring companies to our college. Talking about 2017-18 Most of the people from CS and EC branch got placed in various company. The highest package till now is 9lpa. Even I have got placed! Mechanical and civil people won't get many companies to attend. Overall placement is good as compared to new colleges.

I am not satisfied with the faculties, staff and teaching. More over I am bothered about placements

Placements: Placements are not as expected. We have to struggle hard to get placements. Everyone does't get placed as they wish to. We won't get placements where we are interested in especially in our field of engineering. So I do not recommend people to join this college who wants to get placed in good companies.

Decent in the area, needs a lot of improvement in quality and placements.

Placements: It is a new college with only 3-4 batches who graduated. It is not great for local campus placements. If you are capable enough, you can try the pool placements and find one. Most of the students are into tech support jobs. They utterly fail to provide good job opportunity, and the placement co-coordinator was not happy when we took to start up jobs on our own. She wanted us to get into tech support so that she could show more in numbers, which is pretty awful. Hope they work on placements more ...

Our college the placements are good and teaching skills of the faculty is good and campus awesome.

Placements: The placement department takes care of the students to face campus recruitment tests and interviews through several soft skill or communication skill and personality development programs or workshops on a regular basis. The department identifies the renowned resource person from the industry or acadamia who have vast experience in these areas and arranges training programs by them for the benefits of students.

Overall we enjoy learning in our college because of the facilities present in the college.

Placements: The placement was good and the placement officer was very friendly with the seniors and us. They also provide for the placement of the students. The placement officer is very helpful and guides us in knowing about the recent companies and regarding recent things going on in the companies.

It is a good college. The faculty members are excellent.

Placements: The placements are not good. It is below average. Less than 3% of the students got placement. The highest package was 4LPA(not clear), but it's surely doing good now. Upcoming years the placement percentage will be grown-up. It is a new college that's why placement percentage is less.

Friendly faculty, good infrastructure and campus facilities, but no placements for civil students.

Placements: Placements in the civil department have been very minimal or I can say as zero. Companies coming here are very less. The companies that come are local ones and offer very small salary package. It is not worth studying so much and then working for a mere 7000- 8000 per month. 20-30% of the students are given internships by the college but no stipend is given. Internships are normally for a short period of time i.e. 15 days to 1 month.
