A decent college in Lucknow, but poor overall.

Placements: Placements have been good for CS and IT branches since past year. Hopefully, better companies shall visit next year too. The average package was about 3.5 Lacs. Some were even placed for 6 Lacs. A good load of seniors were placed this year from CS/IT branches. Companies like TCS, Daffodil, etc. Visited this year.

Overall, the college can be rated 7 out of 10.

Placements: Placements in our college are below average. Only three or four companies used to visit the college. TCS is one of them. During my final year, the placements were the worst as only one company has visited. The placement percentage was less than 5%. The profile offered was BPO.

Absolutely dissatisfied with the college because of placements.

Placements: Hardly any core companies visited the campus for placements. Everyone had to go to job fairs conducted by other colleges to gain experience for interviews. The placement department is not aware of the current trends in the market. Around 10% of students from the whole batch were placed.

A college with stringent course curriculum.

Placements: Placements in the college were not at par. Approximately 30% of the batch was placed. The highest salary package offered for our batch was 4.6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. Some good companies like Shapoorji Pallonji, TCS, Informatica, visited the campus for placements, but the selection rate was very low.

I am not satisfied with placements. Infrastructure is not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements for our batch were not good at all. Now it's improved than before. Upcoming batches are getting even more opportunities. Placements are good only for CS and IT branches, not for others. Placement committee had recently changed and is delivering positive feedback.

It is good for those who just want to write notes and score marks. Not good for full development.

Placements: Almost 70-75 out of 120 students from our senior batch in IT branch were placed. Approximately 70 of them were placed with a salary package of 1.5 -2.5 LPA. It is not that good college in preparing students for exams and placements. You have to do everything by yourself, and there is no support from the college.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, poor placements and ambiance.

Placements: Placements in our college are poor. They used to bring companies related to BPO and KPO sectors. They also conduct seminars for placements, and it's mandatory for students to attend the seminars to get attendance. The only technical companies which hired students from our college were TCS and Infosys. The placement scenario is the same in previous years.

The college teaches you how to work hard, cope up with the pressure, balance life and get results.

Placements: Although the college holds a good reputation of being the best college in the city, the placements in 2018 were quite average (way better than the previous batch). Some companies like TCS, Invecas, Shapoorji Paloonji recruited the students for technical posts, but rest were of BPO, KPO and other profiles hiring for non-technical posts. The placement cell has conducted placement exams like AMCAT and Co-Cubes on the campus to increase the number of placements. The situation was somewhat better for...

Not satisfied with academic curriculum as the schedule is very hectic which leads to lack of time.

Placements: Not placed from college but after searching for 3,4 months got placed in Wabco India Ltd. Condition of placement in Mechanical core from any of the college affiliated to AKTU is nearly nil and same is with my college. Only 1 (out of 240) student got campus placement in mechanical core (nearly) company. The general package offered to mechanical fresher from AKTU is varies from 1.8 LPA to 2.4 LPA.

Review of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges.

Placements: Don't rely on placements in this college. TCS visited the campus almost 3-4 times in 4 years. For core mechanical, Ramky, a waste management company, visited the campus once in 4 years. They are trying to change placement directors for three years. They invited Amazon once which offered Rs. 10,000 per month. Shapoorji Palonji visited the campus for placements. But only one qualified out of 240 mechanical students, and the second time they selected one student. Students refused placements as they...

Best in academics excellence but really need to focus on placements.

Placements: The placement of this college has been enhanced since 2017 they brought a lot of companies for the on-campus drives. TCS was the best company that came for drive and offered 3.28 lac per annum. But this year Samsung offered 6 lac per annum which is best for the college for on campus drive. The average salary offered is 2.8-3 lac. Some of the companies are TCD, Shapoorji pallonji, cedcoss singsys etc. Also, for pool and off campus, there were lot of companies like informatica, wipro, etc. There i...

I really enjoyed my 4 years of graduation.

Placements: Students of our batch suffered little in terms of placements because of Brexit things as most of IT companies were in the dynamic state during my tenure. For our seniors, placements were really good as most of them got placed in companies, especially IT companies. Many companies visited our college during my tenure. There is a placement cell in our college, which is very supportive and keen to serve you if you need any help regarding companies and all other placement related things. Overall, abo...

Somewhat satisfied. The one who wants to study well, I recommend this college to them.

Placements: Placements of my batch was satisfactory specially for CS and IT branches while for rest of the branch, they had to struggle for the placements. For seniors the placements was almost below average (30-40%). The company who visited college were TCS, Wipro, Net2Source, Experis IT, Cedcoss etc. The highest package given was 6-7 LPA and the lowest was around 2.5 LPA.

There are possibilities fir this college to become much better in the coming years.

Placements: The placement from my batch was not that good. We can say less than 50%. Placement from the previous batch was better compared to us, can say 50%. Companies that came during my time were amazon with some technical support profile which I don't believe is that good for an ECE student, package was near 3.5 LPA. Others were: apeksha telecom with the profile of a telecom engineer with package of around 3.5 or more. But later people who joined end up regretting being there. The company didn't provide...

Average infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Placements scenario of the college is very poor. Mainly software companies participate in recruitment process. For mechanical and civil branch students there were not much opportunities of placement. Internship offers from college is close to zero. There is a placement cell but it's not that useful.

The college is good for studies but average for placements.

Placements: Placements were below average for our batch as well as our senior batch. Out of a strength of 240, only 10-15% of the students managed to get placed. However, the placements for other branches like CS, IT and ECE were very decent. Companies that visited the campus included Shapoorji Pallonji Group and Cedcoss. The role offered was junior engineer trainee.

Review of Shri Ramswaroop Memorial Group of Professional Colleges.

Placements: Placements in our college were poor. None of the MNCs ever visited the campus for placements. They invite only those companies which are emerging and offer very less salary package. Student can get placed on their own by attending off-campus placement drives. Hardly 10 students in a batch of 180 students get placed.

Our college needs much improvement over the coming years.

Placements: Placements in our batch were bad. There were very few companies and that too offering minimal salary package and some unrelated profiles. Some branches got just a mere single company to attend for placements. Students did not get placements through the college campus programme.
