Infrastructure is nice and much facilities are not provided. Placements are not good.

Placements: The placements are average in this college. The average salary package is about Rs. 3 LPA. Many IT companies visit our campus but, a few core companies visit our campus. Generally, IT and CSE department people placed in the companies where the core branches like Mech, Civil and Electrical are not placed in core companies. The students also prepare GATE to qualify for that exam.

Satisfied by our faculty members but poor placement in 2017 batch.

Placements: Due to recession, lesser number of companies appeared in our campus.30% students got placed with a salary of 10k-15k on an average.20% of them were BPO and rest of the companies are of our field. None got placed during internship, college doesn't even provides internships.

Best 4 Years of my College life at SSGI.

Placements: If we talk about campus placements, my college had better records than any other college for CS IT EEE ETnT branches. And for Mechanical and Civil most of the students prefer to prepare for GATE. Some also get jobs here. In got placed into Motif. Overall placement records are good and avg package is nearly 3 LPA.

Overall, it is not the best college but exposure wise it's a better college.

Placements: Our placement criteria have not been started yet, but most of the seniors have got placed. There is always a competition, but our faculty members make sure that the students who want to get placed try to make them placed, but in the first place, the students have to make an effort from their side.

Why you should't be here.

Placements: None of the company related to the core of the stream comes to the college when the campus drive. All the BPO type, salesman type job profile comes for the placements, and offers the package of 8 to 10 thousands which is very degrading to the education of engineering.

The college is good in every aspect.

Placements: There are no placements for civil students. In North India, civil students don't have placements. We either need to go to private firms and do site engineer job or prepare for government jobs. We have IT companies like Tech Mahindra or TCS or cognizant in which civil engineering students are recruited, but core jobs were not there during my time.

Before taking admission, you may like to read this.

Placements: If we talk about the placement cell here, I must say it's moderate. Here in Chhattisgarh, the number of placements the college offers is average considering the fact that the placement cell sits in the first branch of the college only, i.e. S1. Only top 10 scholars of S2 and S3 are allowed to apply for placements and else are rejected from the very first. Also, the highest package varies from 5-7 LPA that's all. If you are lucky enough, you may get a less costly workplace too where your expenses...

Dissatisfied with the placements, and faculty are okay. Infrastructure is okay but not very good.

Placements: The placements are good for IT and CSE students and not good for other branches. It is the worst for mechanical and civil branches. But, the average package is very low like 2.5 LPA. We got placed in metro cities where the package is very less. So, the students are not very happy with the placements in our college.

Dissatisfied because of female faculty.

Placements: The mechanical engineering students studying in private colleges, rarely get jobs. Even if they get, the salary offered to them is not more than 2 LPA to 2.5 LPA. In this college, some of the first year faculty members are partial to students.

Good faculty members and placement ratio with satisfactory facilities.

Placements: Multinational companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capegemini, Innoeye, Motif, Genpact, etc. come to the campus with a good package. I am in the 4th year and placement from my batch are very satisfied to all. Almost 90-95% of the students got placed. Although placement is more in the field of IT and CS, the placement cell of the college works hard for students of every branch.

Very poor infrastructure, average placement and faculty are disgusting.

Placements: The placements in the college are average. Usually, about 30-40% of the students get placed with an average package of 2.4 LPA. TCS, Tech Mahindra, Byjus are the major companies involved here. The highest package of my senior is of 7 LPA and minimum is of 1.8 LPA. Generally, CS and IT students get placed often.

Shri Shankaracharya Engineering College (IT branch).

Placements: For year 2015, most of the companies that arrived to college were offering support jobs. The company which were offering software development positions were only for overall percentage greater than 80%. Companies that visited the campus: HCL, Convergys, yahoo (support). Roles offered: Support Executives, Software Developer Internship: IEEE internship for cloud computing was being offered by college for minor training, which was basically workshop for giving overview on the topic. The college has a good rapport.

Placements: The placement opportunities were given much. Many organisations and companies were called to the campus for the placements. A good exposure was given to the students, who participated in the drive. The companies like Capgemini and TCS visited the campus. Many companies from different parts of the country were called with a large number of vacant post looking for only deserved candidates.

The college has good infrastructure and adorable monuments.

Placements: The campus selection is good, and there is a large number of selections. They offer good job and good companies to the students. A lot of students are selected in the campus selection. I see a lot of students having good jobs, and many are settled abroad. Last year, out of 101 students, 45 are selected for a salary package of 5 LPA.

I am grateful to be in this institute.

Placements: Almost, 70-80% of the students get placed each year. The maximum IT/software companies visit our college like Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra. The core companies are attracted by this institute namely L&T, Mechlin, and much more. There is also special preparation classes for the placements, which helps the students to get their dream companies.

You can join this college without very big expectations. Overall, the college is good.

Placements: In my batch, the placements were not good as for IT and CS. Only, 3 companies came, and they did not take in bulk, and many companies came, but they were of BPOs or companies which were of irreverent of the branches. They were giving you the post of business analysts with some fake promises packages.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty. There are good placements.

Placements: The placements are good. 72% students were placed. The salary offered is Rs. 50,000 per month approximately. Many good companies visit my college. The roles are related to the field work. The placement of this college is the best compared to other colleges. I am happy to be in this college.

A moderate college with less industrial focus.

Placements: Placements are provided with various options in the technical and the non-technical profiles. They have conducted three placements week here. And concluding all the drives will be in the last week of March. About 50 percent of the students are placed in any of the company. But, the non-technical profile availability is more than the technical. They also provide extra classes for the placement preparation here. Co cubes and AMCAT campus drive are also organised here.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of some faculty behavior, net connectivity and placement's drive.

Placements: A very few students are placed in good companies. I think the maximum package was INR 3.4 Lakhs. No companies visited the core branches such as mechanical, civil, and electrical and telecommunications engineering. TCS, Wipro and other IT companies only have visited the campus drive. The placement was very poor in our college, especially for the mechanical students.

Absolutely satisfied with its each corner.

Placements: Placement record is good, technical and non-technical companies are there for the recruitment of students. Also, the atmosphere is very good, and till now the highest placement record in our area is here. Big MNCs like TCS, Capgemini has taken good no. of students from here.
