I can say, I am satisfied where I am. All the private colleges will treat you in the same way.

Placements: I am a student of electronics and telecommunication, and mostly the student of this branch get placement in companies like TCS or the company like communication sector. So, different companies have different criteria for the placement. You have to clear your backlogs. You should not have a yearly back. The big companies like Google and Microsoft do not visit for placement. Here, the average package offered to the students is 3 to 5 lacs per annum.

In C. G. it will be placed in 3rd rank excluding NIT and IIT.

Placements: The placements offered are good in the college, and it's an open campus selection so anyone fro any college might get selected. In Sankara mostly SOC (service-oriented companies) visit for the selection. Most of the common companies like Tech Mahindra, TCS (most common) and Tata. The Amazon and Google selected 2-3 candidates. But out-campus selection not on-campus. The average package offered is only 2.5 lakhs per annum but to be honest, thats is the reality of all the average engineering colleg...

It is a good college to study.

Placements: The placements are average. Do not except much of the placements. If you are good in communication skills, then you can get the job. Less chance for mechanical students for placements. Computer science students have a good chance of placements. Best of luck for your future.

Good infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: The placements are not good, but the students get placed at a decent package. The placements are about 10%. The students are offered a package of 3 LPA to 4 LPA mainly by TCS and Capgemini. 10% students get internships, and the average stipend offered to them is Rs. 15000 to Rs. 20000. Few of them get even more stipend. Many companies like Tech Mahindra, Wipro etc. visit for placements.

Shankara Groups of Instituition.

Placements: The companies often compare to other colleges under the same university. The only thing to consider here is the salary that was offered to the students. For freshers, it is too less to begin, and maybe it is around 15k per month, which you can barely afford in metro cities. The good thing is, opportunities are more here compared to other colleges. The companies do come with better CTC than this.

Good environment for studying there

Placements: The placement of our batch and the senior batch was good. Around 100 students get placed. The highest salary is 6 lakhs and the lowest salary is 2.0 lakhs. Many companies visited in our college like TCS, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Indian Air Force and much more. They are giving good positions for everyone.

Good placement ratio, faculty members and infrastructure are good and perfect.

Placements: Among the colleges in Chhattisgarh, you will always get the benefit of placement here. As it the one of the top private college in Chhattisgarh. The multinational companies like TCS, TVS, Mahindra, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Tata Motors, Bharti Airtel, Capgemini, Vivo smartphone, etc. in 2017 hired 1044 students for the placement. The average salary is estimated 3-4 lakhs per annum.

Good placement, good infrastructure but the college life is not good.

Placements: The placement for the 4th year is still going on, and previously TCS has recruited many students as our college has an MOU signed with the TCS for the mass recruitment. And many other companies like Cause code, Capgemini and much more recruited. The placement for the computer science is 90%, and for IT, ETC, ET & EEE is 80%. But the package offered is around 3-4.5 lac per annum. I think this college gives the placement, but you will not be satisfied with the package offered. If you need the job,...

It has a huge campus, good placements, and well equipped labs.

Placements: The placements are good in the college of this category. Mostly, the software companies visit the campus for recruitment drives, and the intake of students is quite significant. The average package offered lies somewhere between 3-4 lakhs and the job roles offered are aligned with the course curriculum.

Review of my college. I have shared my experience and my opinion regarding the college.

Placements: No good placement facility is available. Only some companies come and the salary package is also low. The maximum salary package is Rs. 3.50 LPA. Most of the companies are BPOs. The placement of the current batch and the senior batch has not been so good. Only a few companies came and very few students were selected. So it's very bad for the students.

The college is not bad, and you can study here.

Placements: The placement is good. There is about 75% placement in computer science branch, and overall college placement is about 50%. The placement is in good companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant come to the college, and take a various number of students. Last year, especially Tech Mahindra took the maximum number of students from our college. The highest package is about 6.65 lakh per annum, and the average package is about 3lakh per annum, and the lowest package is about Rs. 1,80,000.

Extremely poor and least enthusiastic faculty. The placements are excellent.

Placements: The average package goes around 3 lakhs INR. Mainly IT sector companies visit the campus like TCS, Infosys, IBM, Tech Mahindra etc. Last year only one core company, i.e. Adani visited, and they were offering 4.2 lakhs INR which is good. The internship is not very good in that respect. You have to search online and go for the paid internship instead. Around 60% of the students got placed whose marks were above 70% and no backlogs while attending the interview. ...

Overall, I would say that, my college is good, but it can get better as well.

Placements: In placements, we are getting core jobs very difficultly. Only 4-5 students from core branch get a core job or a job related to their fields. One of our teachers told this. Mostly, students get the service orientated positions in the companies like TCS, Capgemini, etc. This year, I saw a Capgemini poster in our college gate during the placement period.

Satisfied with this college

Placements: Last year, our college had approximately 80% students placed in the interview. The salary is around 1.5 lacs - 3.5 lacs per annum offered. The student had to pass many criteria of placements, then they could appear for the interview. The companies offered the student sales jobs and managerial jobs.

The college is good only for GATE, GRE, and postgraduate preparations.

Placements: The placements in this college are average. Th highest package offered is 5-6 lacs per annum, and the average package is about 3-3.2 lacs per annum. Mostly the students from the computer science and IT branch are placed as only IT companies come for the placements like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini to hire the students.

Very much satisfied, I would suggest everyone to enroll as it has very good placement record.

Placements: The placement in Shankaracharya college is very good. The companies like ITC, Airtel, Sony, Byjus etc, offered the placements for 80% of the students with the highest package of Rs.5.4 L.P.A, which is highest placement offer in Bhilai colleges and lowest package of Rs.1.8 L.P.A.

Chhattisgarh’s best comparatively

Placements: Placements here are above average than most of the colleges in Chhattisgarh. Till now, for the 2018 batch, TCS, Capgemini, Causecode, etc. have visited and more such MNCs are expected soon too. The roles offered were usually junior analyst as expecting much would be a pity.

Really a good infrastructure.

Placements: The placement scenario depends totally upon person to person. However, the placements are coming which mostly include IT consultancy, businesses process outsourcing (BPO), and rarely core sector. The companies that visit during my times are Tata Consultancy Service, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Havells, Adani power, Capgemini.

Satisfied because of faculty, good placements every year, decent infrastructure and facilities

Placements: There is a 100% placement in our SSGI(s1) CSE branch which includes all students who are eligible for placements in that particular company & also there is a good ratio of placements in other branches like mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, etc. Some main companies which come for placement of engineers are TCS, Tech Mahindra, CauseCode, etc. The eligibility criterion in most of the companies is 75% or above.
