Q:   What to do after JEE Main session 2 result?

A:

Candidates preparing for IITs are only required to appear for the JEE Advanced entrance exam after qualifying JEE Main. Students who who secure above the 98th percentile in JEE Main 2024 Session 2 should start preparing for JEE Advanced 2025 immediately. Those who score between 95th and 98th percentile should focus on improving their JEE Main score by taking multiple mock tests and practicing previous year's question papers. By analysing their strengths and weaknesses, candidates can identify their areas of proficiency and topics where they need improvement. If they can achieve full marks in their practice sessions, they can start preparing for JEE Advanced. However, if they cannot score full marks, it is recommended that they appear for multiple mock test series for more practice.

I am dissatisfied with this college.
Placements: We did not receive any campus placement through our college. We do not have any help for off-campus training too. Some students get placed through off-campus drives but are being paid really less.
Infrastructure: It provides poor facilities. There is no Wi-Fi connection in college. Labs have the least equipment. Classrooms are very basic, and the library has a confined number of books. The college does not own any canteen. The food served in a mess is of low quality.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are qualified, but they are not at all helpful. Some teachers are rude toward students. The course curriculum was decided by the university and is perfect. We are not taught enough course syllabus. Semester exams are quite good as it is all self-study-based. Teachers and other staff members are completely supportive.
Other: I have chosen this course because doing engineering was always my dream. But choosing this college was my biggest mistake. It does not organises events.

Review of Shri Shivaji Institute of Engineering and Management Studies.
Placements: Students got placed based on their academic year performance. The highest salary package offered ranges from 3.5 LPA-4.5 LPA. Tata, Tech Mahindra, Forge, Bosch and WeRock companies hired students from our college. Roles like a quality engineer and R&D department are offered here. Overall, everything is fine here.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but proper labs are not available for the mechanical department. Moreover, some times, books are not available for all students in our college. Wi-Fi facility is not available here for students. Overall, the facilities are good, but they can be even better than now.
Faculty: Teachers here are good, but they have to improve their teaching skills. However, they provide proper information about everything, but they should provide more knowledge about MNCs. If they have more and good information, then it helps students to get placed in good companies.
Other: I wish that our college should improve everything which is available now.

It is the best college, but it should improve.
Placements: Some students are placed. JBM Plant, Aurangabad is the top recruiter. The company selected students to offer a salary of Rs. 10,000 per month. Students with high academic score are offered a salary of Rs. 25,000 per month. Most of the students are offered a quality engineer post. Most of the students are offered a salary package of 1.8 LPA. Almost 60-70% of the students got internships.
Infrastructure: There are separate classrooms for all departments. There is a common library. There is a separate college canteen. The college is not providing the hostel for boys. However, there is a hostel for girls along with the mess of the best quality.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. Mechanical engineering is of the industry level, and there is useable machinery. They teach about lifestyle and provide information.
Other: I have chosen this course because of my interest in manufacturing, mechanical industry, and new technologies in production, as all things are covered in mechanical engineering. They should provide additional IT skills for the future of students.
