Absolutely wonderful because of the new buildings, the best faculty and one of the oldest colleges.
Placements: The best government college in M.P. for medical students after some top colleges. After completing your degree, you apply for government placement as a doctor. Otherwise, you can apply to a private hospital. You can easily get above 60k in a private hospital or through government placement. As a CHC or PHC, you easily get above 55k in MP, and after your PG, you get more than 1.25 lakh rupees.
Infrastructure: As this college is one of the oldest government colleges, the old building is not very good, but the M.P. government invested money in infrastructure. So new buildings are wonderful, and new hostels are also well maintained. You get A.C. classrooms with smart classes. The badminton court on the college campus has a volleyball court in the old hostel and a playground is also there with parking.
Faculty: All of our faculty members are well qualified and educated. They have already done their Masters/PG with good experience. Our course period is about 5.5 years, in which a 1-year internship is also included. In each year, 2 sessional exams, 1 pre- and one university exam, are conducted and in 4.5 years, you have to give 4 university exams.
Other: You have to clear NEET-UG to get selected at this college. You have secured good marks and rank. 150 seats for students each year; this may increase in the upcoming years.

    Shyam Shah College, Rewa (M.P.).
Placements: There is no placement like options in medical college. If you join any hospital after MBBS, the average salary is 60,000 per month. 100 percent of students got internships in medical hospitals (Sanjay Gandhi Medical Hospital). There is a minimum of 50 percent marks needed to pass the university exam and for getting an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing. Every department has its own chambers and lecture theatres, which have 200 students sitting capacity. There is a big library with more than 1 lakh books available and study tables. There are 2 boys' hostels and 2 girls' hostels with all the basic facilities like RO water and electricity.
Faculty: Every faculty member of this college almost already has an MBBS qualification and specialization in the subject. Teachers are very helpful and stand with us in every situation, and teachers are brilliant according to their knowledge. Yes, the MBBS curriculum is relevant, and yearly examinations are conducted, with a minimum of 50 percent marks required for passing the exam.
Other: I always wanted to become a doctor, and the life of a medico always motivates me. There is a big college fest for us every year.

It is one of the top 5 MBBS government colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
Placements: As we all know, there is a high demand for doctors out there, and also, this is a government college, the placements are good. If you pursue MD and MS after MBBS, then there is nothing better than that. Students get placed in really good colleges. Internships from here are great as the hospital is too good with lots of new technologies.
Infrastructure: As the college was established in 1963, the infrastructure is old. Wi-Fi is not available. Lecture halls have AC, but they don't work. Labs, bodies for dissection and all other facilities are available for us to learn. The current hostel is very old, but the new hostel is under construction, and the seats have increased in the past years.
Faculty: The faculty are very good. Almost all teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. Internal exams are held from time to time which is helpful in university exams. MBBS exams are very tough, but the passing percentage is very high. Almost all students pass the exams.

It is a place where live savers are made.
Placements: I am a first-year MBBS student in the college from batch 2020. Our college has been running since 1963 with the most experienced faculty members who are giving us the best teaching and practical knowledge. After MBBS, we work as junior residents with a salary package that ranges from Rs. 50,000-1 lac per month. After this, through NEET PG, we will get a college for MS and MD. Our college has a good number of students who are getting selected in the best PG College of India as well as abroad.
Infrastructure: Our college has its own central library with all books on medical education. Our college has atleast 27 departments for all subjects like anatomy, physio, biochemistry, medicine, obstetrics & gynecology, pediatrics, etc. Our college has two-three hostels, and many more are under construction so that each one of the students can get a hostel facility.
Faculty: Teachers are MBBS, MD or MS qualified. They provide treatment in Sanjay Gandhi hospital and teach us well. Exams are easy if we prepare for them well. MBBS needs a lot of practice and hard work. The course curriculum is always made by MCC or NMC, which conducts our exams.
Other: For every new batch, there is a fest so that they can interact with seniors, teachers, and staff members. At each festival, seniors organise extracurricular activities like essay writing, poster making, etc.
