I am satisfied with everything in the college except the strictness.

Placements: Most of the placements are in software companies. You can least expect core companies. There were around 5 to 6 core companies in this year, and the annual package for the core is around 4 lakhs. Being in electronics and communication, you will be expected to get a job in software, so you have to be thorough with your programming basics.

It's a good college with zero percent ragging and campus is really good.

Placements: Approximately 70% students get placed. Almost all good students get placed. There were 10 core and 10 IT companies for mechanical. For computer science, in every 2-3 days, one company came for placement. The placement department was very helpful, and before placement, they will provide all details of company and aptitude class for 4th-year students.

I am not satisfied will all the faculty members.

Placements: The placements are not yet done. The placements are quite good. Most of them are in TCS. Good teaching staff in some branches are best, but here you have to mug up more than learning. Please do not come here for degree. Come for knowledge and grab it with both the hands. The placements for senior was good. Above, 60% of the students are placed. I'll rate 3.5 out of 5.

It's a descent college with good placements and average facilities.

Placements: There are decent placements. You can have hopes and belief in the placement department. A little bit of hard work is needed, and you can easily get placed in a decent company. Make sure to match all the eligibility criteria like marks, cut-offs and no current backlogs. Programming is a must to learn if you want a good package and get placed in a good IT firm.

Very much satisfied with the placement activities, well facilitated infrastructure.

Placements: The placements were good for certain branches such as the circuit, and the IT branches. But as I was from mechanical, we didn't have much placement opportunities. There were about 60 to 70 companies this year. The packages were averaging from Rs. 5 lakhs to Rs. 10 lakhs. The mass company which visited our college was TCS, and it took around 220 students. The common role offered was trainee engineer. There was a very little number of students who got the internships.

A good college to study and can get placed in a good company.

Placements: The placement is awesome and there are100 % placement. The higest package is 10 LPA, the lowest package is 2.8 LPA and average is 3.5 LPA. The companies which visited the college are Vmware, Oracle, TCS Wipro, Akamai and Redbus. These same companies have been repeated for my senior batch, and it got better with the junior batches we highly recommend this college if the students are serious about their career.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty, infrastructure, curriculum, placements, training, etc.

Placements: The placement is appreciable here. Many MNCs will come to the campus for recruitment. Also, every student will get an opportunity to get placed. They organise pre-placement as well as training classes. Every single student gets an equal chance of getting placed. Top MNCs will be coming for training purpose also, where every single doubt will be entertained by them.

IT department of SIT Tumkur

Placements: Placements are good, especially in core sectors. MNCs like Yokogawa, Heidelberg Cements, Praxair and Gill Instruments visit and take instrumentation students. Rest of the students get the opportunity to sit in software companies like TCS, Oracle, Mphasis, Mu Sigma, etc. For the 2017 batch, nearly 80% of students got placed.

It is one of the colleges among the top 10 technical institutions in Karnataka.

Placements: Around 45 companies visited our campus in these 4 months during our 7th semester. Around 60% of the students from our department have been placed, and a few have multiple offers as well. The highest package till now was 10 LPA offered to a CS student. Dream companies like Amazon, Microsoft and Flipkart are expected to visit in the next half of AY. Also, internships are offered for many students with the stipend of around 15k/ MO during the last semester.

Siddaganga Institute of Technology at a glance.

Placements: The overall placements are good. But, if you are looking for some high packages in the mechanical branch, then you might get disappointed. You won't get paid that highly by the core companies in the mechanical branch. At least, that's how it is this year, and it can be because of the bad market situation. But, if you are in the CS, the ISE or the circuit branch, you'll have loads of opportunities, like really a lot of them.

A place where dreams come true. It will provide you ample opportunities for show your talent.

Placements: The placements in SIT are pretty good. The students of IT branch get ample opportunities. Other branches' students also get lots of opportunities for their dream jobs. For getting a placement in SIT, you should be good in the programming section. If you have this quality, no one can stop you from getting placed.

Absolutely satisfied with the exposure the college has given me

Placements: Many people do think that this college is not in Bangalore and so not many companies would be visiting the college. But this is not true as SIT is ranked as the 72nd best engineering college in India in 2017 and there are a lot of companies visiting our college. They are mostly computer science or information technology-based companies, though companies concerned with electrical and electronics also visited the college. Specifically for EEE, companies which visited are listed below: - Mistral So...

Good infrastructure and placements.

Placements: A good number of placements are there with the highest package of about 16 LPA. All branches are provided opportunities in their core companies. The big MNCs visited like JP Morgan, Amazon, Oracle, Informatica and mass recruitment companies like TCS and IBM but the majority preference is for CS and EC students with more than 50 companies and above which visited. Other branches will have core companies visiting at least once. It is the best one among the top 10 colleges in Karnataka with good pl...

A good college in Bengaluru. You can study in this college as it provides a good environment.

Placements: The placement session is running nicely as usual in the college. But as far as the package is considered it is approximately 3.3 lacs per annum.which can be considered good. If we look at the kind of competition we have. It includes almost all kind of companies right from core to IT. Overall, the placement scenario is good.
