Review of Siddaganga Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements are usually good as long as you are in a good branch. In 2021, the highest package was 41 LPA, which was given by Intuit. In 2022, it is reduced to 31 LPA, which was given by Oracle. So as long as you are an above-average student, you will get the placement. But if you want to have a top catch, you must work hard, learn coding, attend hackathons and make unique projects.

It is a good college to study and enjoy college life.

Placements: Our college is hectic but provides good placements for students. The average salary package offered for CSE is 8 LPA to 8.5 LPA. Amazon offered a salary package of 30 LPA for 9 students and Twilio offered 44 LPA for 2 students.

I would only recommend it in the case that students can not get any moderately reputable college.

Placements: The number of students who are placed is decent. The highest salary package offered is 30 LPA. Recruiting companies that visit are Cisco, Zscalar, etc. There are a lot of internships opportunity but students have to go for it themselves, and the college doesn't play a major role in the process.

The average salary package offered was 3.5 LPA. Top recruitment companies were IBM, Honda, etc. Almost every student in our course got an internship.

Absolutely dissatisfied due to faculty and food rest all is better.

Placements: A lot companies visit our college. Most of them are I.T. companies. Have a good score academic wise and having good knowledge on core will definitely place you in core. Internship is also provided. The relationship between companies and college is maintained perfectly.

You will have to give your best in the college, and the greenery in college is the best.

Placements: Placements in college will be as usual as in any average private college. Many good companies come to recruit students, and the average salary package offered will be around 4 to 5 lacs per annum. According to our seniors, in electronics and communications department, one can get a salary package as high as 10 LPA. The placement rate of EC department in this college is really good.

A good college, with horrible maintenance.

Placements: Placements end well. There will always be more offers than eligible students. This happens only in case of circuit branches. Can't assure for non circuit one's. College policy towards placement is quite strict and they do make lot of training and skill improvement programs.

The infrastructure is good, but I recommend not to join for M.Tech.

Placements: There are no placements for M.Tech students. There were placements for my senior but only for two students, and they placed in TCS. But for our batch and my junior's batch, there are no placements. I think for coming batch also there will be no placements. No stipend is provided for the students.

A college with merits that holds.

Placements: The placements are good. I got placed in TCS. Various MNCs come for placements like TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Arricent and BEL, these are a few companies that visit regularly and other companies visit based on their respective departments. An average of 50% students get placed.

Dissatisfied because of the faculty behaviour and bad placements.

Placements: The placements for civil is not up to the mark. Almost 2 to 3 core companies visit for this course. The internships are also poor. The training and placement department is not interested in bringing companies to the college. Any company's interview that we attended were of pool campus.

SIT is the place of holiness.

Placements: Our senior placements were good. For our batch, it will be better. In every department, almost 80% of the students get placed during campus selection, and rest go for their higher studies. Recent, a company visited our college, and they offered the package of 30 lacs per annum, and we have an average package of 3.5 lacs per annum.

A very good campus with all kinds of facilities.

Placements: The placements are really very good, and one best advantage is that they will train us by giving lessons on how to attend for an aptitude test and how to behave well with people. Totally, it's very good. There are various kinds of companies that visit our campus, and my suggestion is that if you are really good enough, there is no doubt in getting placed.

Satisfied by study not by placement.

Placements: The placement offered was poor for the mechanical students in Siddaganga Institute of technology. Hardly companies visit in Tumkur. Most of the students get placed in TCS or any other IT company. The core companies won't visit the campus for recruiting.

Infrastructure is good. Placements are average. I am a bit dissatisfied with faculty.

Placements: Only a few of our seniors from ECE got placed in core companies. Many students got placed in IT companies. Most of the seniors were placed in 4th year. The highest salary package offered ranges from 9 LPA to 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA for IT companies.

SIT is one of the best colleges working for so many years, still, there is scope of improvement

Placements: It has been said that placements are drastically decreasing but still, we have the least information about those things and we are trained to get marks then practical and technical knowledge. Anyhow, the placement is quite satisfactory for some people but it is still unsatisfactory with many. Students' efforts are less and even the input given to the students is less. It is like teachers give the students just rice grains and expect them to make biriyani.

This is a green campus for the students for their healthy life.

Placements: It offers good placements with satisfactory packages and desirable work. Top companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys, VMware and much more have visited our college for the placement requirement. 130 students have got placed in these companies. We are happy to have participated in this placement.

A good college in Bengaluru. You can study in this college as it provides a good environment.

Placements: The placement session is running nicely as usual in the college. But as far as the package is considered it is approximately 3.3 lacs per annum.which can be considered good. If we look at the kind of competition we have. It includes almost all kind of companies right from core to IT. Overall, the placement scenario is good.

From the academics’ perspective it's a very good college but in terms of all round development I'm not satisfied with the routine they follow. And it's very far from banagalore and boring. Few things should be changed for the betterment of college. Auditorium should be renovated asap.
