The college has good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Our college is mainly well-known in providing various placement opportunities. Many companies like L&T, Tata, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Accenture, Axis Bank, etc., visit our college. Top companies like Tata Consultancy, Birla, etc., visit our college, and they offer a salary package of Rs. 15,000 per month for a fresher.

Bachelor in accounting and finance from SIES College.

Placements: Many big companies like TCS, Wipro, WNS, JP Morgan etc. Come for recruiting the students. So you will have a job even before graduating amd they are even offering decent packages for a graduate fresher. The entire placement programme is properly organized and everyone gets a chance to attend the interview.

I am not dissatisfied with my college.

Placements: TATA Enterprise has come to our college, and they have given placements to our college students. They offered back office job for our college student. They offer us night shift, and it was mandatory. The salary offered was Rs. 13,000 per month.

Amazing faculty but poor facilities.

Placements: Mainly BPOs come for placements. Hardly any good placements for finance students. No big companies turn up for placements. The placement cell needs to work harder. The average salary offered by the companies is just 10k per month. The number of companies who come for campus placements is also very less as compared to other colleges.

My experience in SIES College (2015-2017).

Placements: Placements are available in good companies like ICICI Prudential and many more including baking, insurance and pharmaceutical companies. Most of us got placements in those companies. Internships were offered. The placement process was generally long enough and is divided into three different stages which took place for a week with 5 different companies.

The campus is the best for learning.

Placements: The placements were available, but not up to the mark. As we were doing B.Com, we usually get job profiles of sales and back office related, but we request to provide placement for finance and accounts too because we become a graduate in commerce field.

One of the best colleges in Central line.

Placements: Placements during my third year were very good. Companies from various sectors came in for placements right from JP Morgan to Tata motors to WNS etc. Average salary was 13k per month, whereas quite a good number of students were selected depending on skills and knowledge.

Absolutely satisfied by the faculty. Heard that there are good placements too.

Placements: There are placements, but I don't have any idea of it, but the college had sent their students for the mock test in MET for group discussions and personal interview. Don't have much idea about placements but there are some reputed banks like ICICI and others which recruit students.

Life in SIES is a fun-filled experience in the career and activities.

Placements: The recent placement offered was from Tata consultancy. It was kind of a call centre job with only night shifts available. The salary ranged from Rs.13,000 to Rs.15,000 with drop facility available. They conducted a seminar first wherein they provided the students with their job profile and the hours of work. After that session, the interview round was conducted, and then the students were selected.

The college is good. The crowd is also good.

Placements: The students are good. You will get the internship from many big companies. For FY, SY and TY, there is a morning batch. All batches are good. You will get 100% job internship. Your internship will be based on your knowledge, and as well your marks. All will get the internship as per their knowledge and marks. So, no worry about the internship.

One Of the finest colleges of Mumbai.

Placements: The placements in companies like Wipro, Philips, CA firms having experience of above 40yrs, Intel etc. Approximately 60% of the students from the total candidates get placement every year. The internships in companies like Cipla and Amazon are offered when they study in SIES. The average salary of an SIES graduate is approximately Rs.18,000-19,000/- depending on the academic results and personal interview. The average stipend is of Rs.7,000/- for TY degree students. SIES is the best college to study.

Placements: The placements are excellent especially for the graduates of B.Com and BAF course. The companies that came for the campus placements during my time were some esteemed companies like E&Y, Jaro Education, TCS, etc. They considered various factors like student's academic record, their involvement in sports, cultural functions, CSR activities, etc.

SIES- a dream to successors.

Placements: The placements were offered to the students as assistance and had a variety of big brand companies with an abundance of jobs. The interviews, as well as the selection, are done within hours. The highest salary offered was Rs. 30,000 per month and the lowest remuneration was Rs. 12,000. The companies like Bajaj, Jaro education, etc. were the placement companies.

One of the best colleges for commerce in Mumbai with the most knowledgeable faculty and clean infra

Placements: Third-year students of B.Com do not have placement options. The college does not have campus placements for the course of B.Com Usually, students do professional courses along with this course, therefore, there is no request even from students. The commerce section does not hold campus recruitment for any other course too.

Good name and good for students pursuing professional courses

Placements: No placements for BCom but self-financing courses have placements. Not sure if placements have started post-2015. But a good name of the college and has A-grade given by NAAC, so it is good if you get through. The minority is for only Tamil-speaking people, but it is good to develop personality if you participate in events and programmes.

Well-qualified and friendly faculty.

Placements: Many top MNC companies visited for placements. I don't know the exact figures of the number of students placed and the highest, average and lowest salaries offered. Most of the students got good packages. Some of the got more than the average packages while some were not allowed for placements because of their low attendance which is right (at least for me).

Missing and hissing of college life.

Placements: HDFC, TATA were among the few companies which visited the college campus. Very few were able to get through it as many students were not notified about the campus recruitments. For B.Sc IT, Infosys was among the key recruiters. It offered a salary of Rs. 19,000 per month (all inclusive) to our previous batch and asked them to come to Bangalore and stay there for 3 months post which they shall be shifted to any part in India for the next 9 months. After that, they shall be given an opportunity to...

Good college life with good knowledge.

Placements: B.Com didn't have placements then. M.Com had placements. Banks like Axis Bank had come to our college. Banking roles were offered. I did only B.Com from SIES. From M.Com, one of my seniors was selected for Axis Bank and she was happy with the pay. She had to work in Axis Bank for one year. Around 30% students were placed by the campus.

Brilliant faculty, decent infrastructure.

Placements: As for placements, the job profiles were mostly back-end profiles. And it was very rare for students to even avail placements, because almost everyone wished to pursue higher studies or take up another professional course.

Review about SIES College of Commerce and Economics.

Placements: It depends on the type of course that we are pursuing. For BMS, there are no placements through the college. The college does not provide internships or placements. There are a few small companies that visit our college, but the profiles offered are not that great and so people tend to go for higher studies. Last year, there were no placements as such in the college.
