Siliguri College - My second home.

Placements: I have given a 1-star rating as Siliguri College does not provide any placements as of now. After completing my course, I have thought of completing a master's. I have seen a lot of students who did a B.Sc and opted for a M.Sc here. Later, it is not necessary to complete 4 years. If one likes to leave the college in between, they can do it. They'll get a certificate. If I want to leave after 2 years, I can leave after doing an internship. I will get a certificate also.

A college with great learning and education.

Placements: No student has been placed in our course (B.Sc). There is neither the highest nor the lowest package in our college. No recruiting companies are there in our department. No student has received any internship opportunity to date. No roles have been offered yet.

Good college option in 2025.

Placements: The placement of the college is not so good, and the job roles are not available for the students. The job opportunities are less available in the college. The determined students can still find a way out of this problem. However, improvements can be discussed with the authority and management.

It was a good experience with affordable prices and good infrastructure.

Placements: There were no placements at my college, so no companies were coming at that time. No roles were offered at that time, but the experience was good. There were no internship facilities at our college, but now they provide some basic facilities apart from placement.

This is one of the best college in North Bengal as well as in West Bengal.

Placements: Siliguri College is a well-respected institution of higher learning located in the city of Siliguri in West Bengal, India. The college offers a wide range of Undergraduate programs in a variety of fields, including science, the arts, and commerce, as well as postgraduate (Geography and Bengal) programs. However, it is unfortunate that the college does not have a dedicated placement cell to help students find suitable employment opportunities after graduation.

Overall, good environment but teachers are negligent.

Placements: No placement was offered, and no companies visited the English department. I don't think any companies would visit to offer placements to students because of college's poor infrastructure. Even if any companies did visit, they would offer very low packages, which I would say poor packages.

Our college was very good because of the facilities and faculty members.

I got selected as a spoken teacher during my tenure, and I was offered the lowest salary of Rs. 10,000 per month and the highest salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. Many top companies visit our college for placements. Very high salary packages are offered in our course. About 20% of the students got internships from this course.
