Review of Siliguri College of Commerce.

Placements: This college is one of the oldest colleges in Siliguri, and it is affiliated to North Bengal University. The college is good, but it does not provide placements or internship in B.Com course. So basically I don't have any idea about placements as I have completed my graduation. It might provide a master degree for students.

Our college has quite good surroundings with awesome and helpful teachers but has poor placements.

Placements: The placement records of our college are quite poor. Most of the students get placed by learning other courses at the same time. If you focus only on the course, then it is not possible to get placements. We take some technical training both online and offline, which help us in getting placements. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Local coaching centres and academic institutions like GDI, ISOEH Siliguri are among the top recruiters....

I would rate 5 stars. It's the best college and provides really good infrastructural facilities.

Placements: This is one of the best colleges for management courses. I think I'm the luckiest one to get a chance to study here BBA Hons. After completion, the placement is guaranteed as teaching is the best here. From this college, everyone will learn the management courses well as the faculty members never leave a stone unturned to teach.

The college has good infrastructure, great faculty and superb environment but lacks in discipline.

Placements: Campus placement drives are not conducted in our college. But due to the good teaching faculty and a good study environment, students who pass out from the college are very confident, talented and well trained. So, it becomes a bit easier for them to get placed compared to the students of other colleges and universities. Sometimes, students are recruited by offsite campusing. Industrial training and excursions are organised for students.

This college is not good for pursuing good undergraduate course.

Placements: None of the companies come to the college for placements, and there is no placement committee in the college. This college is only for those people who just want to get a degree. In the last 10-15 years or more, no placements have been provided by the college, and there is no scope for it in the long term also. This college is suitable only for those who want to do some other course alongside.

My college is absolutely and undoubtedly the best of our university, and the people were good.

Placements: The placement of our batch has been done in a smooth and a very graceful manner indeed. I have pursued my graduation in B.Com honours of management, so the campus placements were done accordingly in a great way. It was amazing to be a part of the campus placements.

Awesome college. Thumbs up?

Placements: It is a very good college and offers various kind of opportunities in which students can participate in, such as sports competitions, College fests, etc. While talking about the curriculum the college offers high class faculty members with indepth knowledge of various subjects and courses which it provides. Thumbs up for the college. One should definitely join.

Overall, not much satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placement here is next to negligible. In my three years of college, I have never heard of any placement or any opportunities for the placement. But instead of placement, you could easily take a part-time job or do some professional course as this college will not interfere with it.

The college can improve much better.

Placements: The college does not provide any placements facility. There is no such facility still made available for the college students as it is a government college. But, the college administration should have a look into this matter. If the college starts providing placements, definitely there will be a lot of deserving candidates for the suitable position.

Overall, satisfied with everything available.

Placements: There is a chance of placement to the genuine students who are worried about their placement. Many types of companies visited our college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 54,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 26,500 per month. On an average, 18% of the students got the placement from the college.

It's good, but can be better.

Placements: I never heard anything about placements. I mean I'm pretty much sure that the college I study ever had placements before us, or it's ever going to have one in future. I mean there's no scope of it after graduation. You just get a degree from the university and having pretty no chances of a job at graduation level.

Really good faculty and renowned college.

Placements: There is a good placement opportunity for students doing other courses like CA, MBA, etc. Also, many HR recruiters come to a college campus at the year end for placements. The students of this college pass out with flying colours. For an internship, the stipend ranged from Rs. 1500 to Rs. 15000. The students got an internship for customer relation management, call centres, CA articleship, banking, etc.

A renowned college with experienced faculty.

Placements: There were particularly no placements in the college for BCom Hons but the students who passed out from this college and who were pursuing an additional course as well, for them, the starting package was around 9 lakhs per year. Students are either doing CA, MBA, interior designing, etc in metro cities.

Siliguri College Of Commerce is one of the best colleges under North Bengal University.

Placements: Siliguri College of Commerce is one of the best college located in Siliguri. All the best students studies in this college, gradually the results are also good. So, firms are more attracted towards this type of students. The students do not get direct placement through the college. No company comes to the college for the interview. Thereby, the placement percentage is equal to nil. Therefore, if a student is searching for a college that provides placement, then they should not opt for Siliguri C...

Placements: Students with bcom aur any other degree can opt for this college .The college do not provide any such placement as per my knowledge but they have a option of NCC where the students preferring it are provided with facility and placement.Overall a student cannot complete depend on the college for placement purpose.

Absolutely Dissatisfied because of faculty and Partiality of teacher.

Placements: There is no placement for this course. But in an MBA, you can get an average package job in a reputed organisation from North Bengal University, Bagdogra. But in this college with this BBA Course, they provide you with an opportunity by choosing your specialisation, i. e. marketing, finance (expect HR).

Our college is the best in Siliguri.

Placements: I guess I really don't know much about it because I didn't often attend the class but the college is great and the placement was also pretty good. They offered around 90% placement I think about internship around 80%. Top roles offered here are of many kinds must attend this college.

Our college is just fine.

Placements: Our batch has a huge number of students. There are about 200 students in Hons category. However, we are not provided with any job yet. Our college is not great for internships and job placements, but it is great to provide theoretical knowledge and academic performance.

All in all, it's a good college in North Bengal.

Placements: Around 70% of the students gets placement. The highest salary is not known but my friend got around 17,000/- per month. Mainly banking companies come at the college campus. Roles like accountant or assistant account are among the top. Overall students get a good placement.
