College has Free Education.

Placements: There are no facilities for placements at all but the fee is less and the environment is important for students to focus on their studies. Honestly, I don't like the infrastructure of classrooms at all. Although they are building some new and better ones.

All you need to know about this college.

Placements: There were different cut-offs for different castes of students. Students with scores above 60% were placed in this college. According to student's scores, they were allotted honors or general courses in their respective courses. Students who scored good marks in the exams got internships.

Our college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Top recruiting companies like the State Bank of India, the IBPS Reserve Bank of India, TCS, etc., visit our campus. About 20% of students get internships at Tata Motors. Top roles offered are tax consultant, company secretary, chartered accountant, financial advisor, etc.

Review of Siliguri College of Commerce.

Placements: Placements are not provided in this college. If students opt for CA course, then they can join this college. Our college is disciplined, and students are attentive.

I am satisfied because of faculty members.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements. None of the students got placements and internships from our college in any company. I don't think any college will provide placements just after their graduation. So none of the students from our course got any offer or salary package.

Review of Siliguri College of Commerce.

Placements: This college is one of the oldest colleges in Siliguri, and it is affiliated to North Bengal University. The college is good, but it does not provide placements or internship in B.Com course. So basically I don't have any idea about placements as I have completed my graduation. It might provide a master degree for students.

Our college has quite good surroundings with awesome and helpful teachers but has poor placements.

Placements: The placement records of our college are quite poor. Most of the students get placed by learning other courses at the same time. If you focus only on the course, then it is not possible to get placements. We take some technical training both online and offline, which help us in getting placements. The highest salary package offered is 4 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. Local coaching centres and academic institutions like GDI, ISOEH Siliguri are among the top recruiters....

The college has good infrastructure, great faculty and superb environment but lacks in discipline.

Placements: Campus placement drives are not conducted in our college. But due to the good teaching faculty and a good study environment, students who pass out from the college are very confident, talented and well trained. So, it becomes a bit easier for them to get placed compared to the students of other colleges and universities. Sometimes, students are recruited by offsite campusing. Industrial training and excursions are organised for students.

The college can improve much better.

Placements: The college does not provide any placements facility. There is no such facility still made available for the college students as it is a government college. But, the college administration should have a look into this matter. If the college starts providing placements, definitely there will be a lot of deserving candidates for the suitable position.

Overall, satisfied with everything available.

Placements: There is a chance of placement to the genuine students who are worried about their placement. Many types of companies visited our college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 54,000 per month and the lowest salary offered was Rs. 26,500 per month. On an average, 18% of the students got the placement from the college.

It's good, but can be better.

Placements: I never heard anything about placements. I mean I'm pretty much sure that the college I study ever had placements before us, or it's ever going to have one in future. I mean there's no scope of it after graduation. You just get a degree from the university and having pretty no chances of a job at graduation level.

A renowned college with experienced faculty.

Placements: There were particularly no placements in the college for BCom Hons but the students who passed out from this college and who were pursuing an additional course as well, for them, the starting package was around 9 lakhs per year. Students are either doing CA, MBA, interior designing, etc in metro cities.

Our college is just fine.

Placements: Our batch has a huge number of students. There are about 200 students in Hons category. However, we are not provided with any job yet. Our college is not great for internships and job placements, but it is great to provide theoretical knowledge and academic performance.

Siliguri College of Commerce.

Placements: No placements are there. This college does not offer any placement to the students. Students have to look on their own for jobs. You can come here to just get a degree or if you are preparing for CA, CS or something like that then this college is for you. As this is a government college, you will not get any placement.
