Overall, the college is recommendable and is a very fine choice.
Placements: I'm pursuing B.A. in psychology, journalism and optional English. We are the pilot batch. The top recruiting companies are HP, Wipro, Decathlon, ICICI, Accenture and Amazon. The college provides intensive training and value-added courses, which improves our skills. We have placement activities as well. We can build our leadership qualities by taking part in various activities conducted by our college.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, Sindhi College is one of the best colleges by providing all the facilities. We have a library, Wi-Fi, seminar room, projector rooms and a fully-equipped auditorium. We have an indoor stadium and lifts and ramps for differently-abled students. We have an anti-ragging and disciplinary committee. Computer labs and a hygienic canteen are available.
Faculty: B.A. is a three-year under-graduation course. It follows the pattern of Bangalore University. Teachers build a good rapport with students. They conduct follow up sessions. They encourage students to take part in extracurricular activities and participate in class discussions, and we have industrial visits. We have a formative and summative assessment as well.
Other: B.A. is very diverse, and I like the idea of this course because it has multiple career opportunities. It provides diverse knowledge like literature as it provides a strong background in English, and it is very exciting. The college fest is one of the arenas where students make a successful event, and Crescendo is one of the best fests in Sindhi College. We have cultural activities every year, and the entire campus gives you a vibe to be a part of the activities held. The teachers encourage students in every step. Even in this pandemic, our college held a fest which was very successful. It was beautifully organised.

Very Good College for Arts Students.
Placements: The placements are good. The College has a dedicated Placement Cell for the same. A good percentage of students have been selected in IT companies such as HP, E&Y, Decathlon, Valenta, Accenture, HCL, Wipro, Amazon, etc. Also has dedicated Career guidance programs and recruitment training programs to help students be at par with the requisite level needed for the job.
Infrastructure: The College is equipped with good, dedicated laboratories for our course. Classrooms are spacious, equipped with smartboards, and are ergonomically designed. The library is huge, having a lot of books that are important for the course as well as a lot of other books that can be accessed anytime. As students of literature, there are a lot of updated novels and other books that proved to be beneficial for framing answers in the exams. Bathrooms are very neat and aesthetically designed. The canteen also has a varying menu, having both freshly prepared dishes as well as packed snacks. Indoor Stadium is on the 3rd floor, Basketball Court as well as Table Tennis, Volleyball, Chess, and carrom. The College also has two huge halls inside the Campus, with state-of-the-art facilities.
Faculty: The teachers were very qualified in the subjects they were assigned to, and well versed with all the concepts that were prescribed by the University. They are friendly, caring, and have a one on one approach to classroom teaching- with very good and versatile teaching experience. Most of the time they go the extra mile to assimilate notes from different references to make it easier for the students to understand. Movie screenings, Documentaries, Presentations, Practicals, and other out-of-the-box activities are also spearheaded by the teachers to help students have a deeper knowledge of the concepts.
Other: I chose this course after a lot of research and evaluation. Not only it helps the students to become good at communication (both oral and written), it also equips the student with the right approach to any job as well as smart enough to make good decisions. Communication is very undervalued at this point of time by students as well as colleges as most of them focus on just the core subjects, but that is completely a wrong approach in today's scenario. Whereas on the other hand, this course helped most of the students improve their soft skills drastically. Thereby making them valuable. There are a lot of events that are held within the College like Seminars and Workshops and even research outings too. And also Cultural Festivities that are held on intra and inter-collegiate levels too. Campus rules are strict but student-friendly, with a very strict No Ragging Rule enforced without any leniency. Very friendly staff- both teaching and non-teaching.
