Really, absolutely dissatisfied with the faculty; very non-operative in doing anything new.
Placements: I am a B.Sc. CS pursuing student. The course explores various fields of tech like programming. There are no good placements. Last year, TCS came for placement, but we were not actually informed about the students who got placed. The teachers are cooperative, but students are mostly doing internships.
Infrastructure: The course looks excellent if you look at it. But in reality, the teachers are not good, and the ones who are good are not really getting appropriate time to teach. The majority of teachers are always just sharing code or providing internet to copy code from. The college library is vast, but the staff of the library is not cooperative. The college has a canteen, but I don’t know why I feel sick after eating the food.
Faculty: Exams are totally unfair. Sometimes, during practical exams, the Wi-Fi remains on, and many students cheat using their smartphones. There is no facility for rechecking or getting our paper copies. The first-year results were given after all students had paid their second-year fees.
Other: We have NEP, but it is not actually working, and teachers are just teaching and forwarding us code to copy and paste. Some are good, but the majority are worse. Teachers play favorites, and I have experienced it.

The true side Of SIWS College .
Placements: Many students with high percentages were placed in my class. The highest package offered at my college was 10 LPA. And the lowest was 2 LPA. The top recruiting company in my college was Google. Many students got jobs from our college, some getting jobs at Google. Some of the top roles offered in my course are full-sack development, front-end development, back-end development, etc.
Infrastructure: Our Computer Science department is well-equipped with computer labs for us With good computers. Wi-Fi is provided to the students whenever needed. The infrastructure is also very good. All the labs are equipped with Air conditioning to keep the environment around the computer cool
Our canteen is also very good. Food is cooked with hygiene, and all safety protocols are followed.
Faculty: All the teachers in the computer science department are well qualified and experienced for the teaching post they are assigned. The teaching quality is also up to par. Yes, the curriculum of the course is very relevant to computer science. And it makes the students industry-ready as well as ready for their future endeavors .
Other: The reason I chose computer Science is that I have a huge passion for computers. So opting for computer science was one of the best decisions I made regarding my studies and career. Everything has its pros and cons. The mode of admission should be totally online or offline, rather than using both. Our college conducts many events, including Swastika, Resonance, and Microbia.

College is best for other departments like B.Com, B.M.M., etc., but not valuable for B.Sc. IT.
Placements: The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. The current salary of recent graduates is generally lower than the salary of students who graduated in previous batches. The maximum salary refers to the 80th percentile, and the median salary refers to the 50th percentile. Many students with high percentages were placed in my class. The highest package offered at my college was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 2 LPA. The top recruiting company in my college was Google. Many students got jobs from our college, some even at Google. Some of the top roles offered in my course are full-stack development, front-end development, back-end development, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but not that great. Our Computer Science department is well-equipped with computer labs and good computers. Wi-Fi is provided to the students whenever needed. The infrastructure is also very good. All the labs are equipped with air conditioning to keep the environment cool around the computers. Our canteen is also very good. The food is cooked with hygiene, and all safety protocols are followed.
Faculty: Exams are conducted in a very tough manner. All the teachers in the Computer Science department are well-qualified and experienced for the teaching posts they are assigned. The teaching quality is also up to par. Yes, the curriculum of the course is very relevant to Computer Science, and it makes the students industry-ready as well as ready for their future endeavors.

It is the best college for students.
Placements: Many students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs 30,000 per month. The average salary package offered was 4.7 LPA. State Bank of India and Reserve Bank of India were the top recruiting companies. Almost 70% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered were bank manager, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, laboratory, gym, library, classrooms, washrooms, etc., were available. The hostel facilities were good. The food served in the canteen was better. Medical facilities were also good.
Faculty: The teaching quality was good. Our course curriculum was relevant to make students industry-ready. All teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Semester exams were difficult and the passing percentage was 65-70%.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in bank management. Everything was better in this college. Fests were also conducted in our college. Scholarships were provided to merit students.

Absolutely dissatisified with faculty members.
Placements: There are no placement facilities in this college, but still for formality they have some tie-ups with BPO or sales executive roles which offer a salary of INR 12,000 - INR 15,000 per month, which does not make any sense. After studying so much, you will get a job as a sales executive.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. Pre-pandemic it was not good, but after the lockdown, they reconstructed the play area, canteen, and their offices. The play area is also not so big but it is okay. And about the canteen, it is good. Apart from this, the washroom and libraries are good.
Faculty: Some of the faculties are very rude and self-obsessed. On the other hand, some of the faculty members are very kind and friendly with their students. The curriculum is good, but it will be better when you will get some practical examples that are not available.

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not many but it is a good place to learn and grow. Some companies came for placements. Learning we get here will help to crack interviews.
Infrastructure: Canteen and drinking water facilities are available. Canteen Dosa is my favorite.
Faculty: Faculty was good and friendly.
