The college is good to join for the engineering.

Placements: Our college has the good placements. The civil branch students are less placed. Our seniors have got placed in some of the good companies. Finally, the placements are well and good. There is a placement division, which helps us to improve our skills by conducting the placements classes.

Dissatisfied with the campus

Placements: Mostly mass recruitment companies come to the college. Everyone from computer science will be placed. No one from other departments has been placed any companies. The highest salary offered will be around 6-8 lakhs per annum, and the lowest is 2.75 lakhs per annum. No one will get internships.

Appreciable infrastructure, efficient placement cell and qualified teachers for development.

Placements: It's a noted college which has all the infrastructure for the placement development cell. It has highly qualified and trained teachers who provide all the necessary training for the placements. HRD program is part of the curriculum and is strictly taken to develop personality skills. If your able to maintain the minimum cutoff percentage you are sure to be placed in a good company with varying package minimum around 4 lakh per anum.

The college is very much strict for the attendance reason.

Placements: They will tell 100% placement, but normally 10-20 students will get placed at last. That too, a mechanical student doesn't get placed in the core company and finally, the student ends up in some IT company. Also, most of the student doesn't get placed at all, but mostly the computer science and the information science students, at least get an offer letter from few companies.

Somewhat satisfied because of placements, really good infrastructure and average faculty.

Placements: Placements are average for my department in my batch, around 60% till now. For my senior batch, it was around 90% in CSE. The average salary is around 3.2LPA, while the minimum is around 2.6LPA and the maximum is around 6.0LPA but the number of students getting package more than 4.5LPA is very low, around 5-8. Companies visiting the campus are Atos, Wipro, Capgemini, Mindtree, Global Edge, First American, Indian Navy, TCS, Accolite etc. Percentage of students getting internships is very very low...

Great infrastructure and partnerships with companies provide training.

Placements: HRD department is responsible for the placements. They give training to the students from the first year. But the actual training in aptitude is given in the 3rd year. The placements are good for CSE and ISE. The placements for other departments are still picking up. The percentage of placement is above 90%. The average package is about 4 lakhs per annum.

Our college had the highest SGPA in Karnataka as per NACC inspection of 3.22 and 3rd place in India

Placements: Our college is good in placements. 97% of placements took place in our college. The highest paid is 10 LPA and the lowest paid is 2.5 LPA. Companies like NTT Data, Mindtree, Accenture, Pristage, Shobha, L&T. etc. visited. 80% of students got the internship from the college.

The college has good faculty and good facilities.

Placements: The percentage of placements in the mechanical branch is too low. Around 10% to 15% of students get placed every year. Rs. 7.5 lakhs per annum is the highest salary, Rs. 3 lakhs per annum is the lowest salary and average is around Rs. 3-4 lakhs per annum. TCS, Mahindra, Toyota, Indian navy etc. visit the college for recruitments.

Nice infrastructure, good placements, no Wi-Fi.

Placements: The placement of CSE department is pretty good. Most companies require a minimum percentage of 65%. A lot of companies come to the college with an average package of 3.5 lakhs. Other departments struggle in this section. There's almost negligible placement in the mechanical and civil departments.

About good things of SJBIT, Bangalore

Placements: Nowadays, an extra 4 companies will be coming to our campus except whatever we have before. That is a great opportunity for a student to take benefit from it. The college will also provide training for development in students' behaviour and create an awareness about the present scenario.

If you are looking for a college as one of the strict premises and the best faculty, this is it

Placements: This is one of those mid-range colleges in Bangalore where there is an immense scope for mass recruitment by IT companies for the branches: computer science, electronics and communication, and information science. Regarding the placements for the mechanical branch, there are hardly any core company recruitments. But the final verdict is that the college was opened just 12 years ago and by the recent accreditation by NAAC, this is one of the top growing engineering colleges. ...

A student can join this college blindfolded. But you should do well in semester exams and vocabulary

Placements: They say it is 100%, but it is good. It is better than any other college in this region. There is also an HRD department. From 1st year, they train the ethics and the ways to talk. The vocabulary of the students is improved. A student can join this institution if he knows how to maintain good GPA. Many companies come and hire students from our college.

SJBIT has good placements, infrastructure, and faculty.

Placements: The placement and internship facilities in our college are quite good. Many students start doing an internship as soon as they complete the 2nd year. The college staff also supports such student and encourages them to take up more internship projects. Coming to placements, many software companies visit us and pay quite a good package.

SJB Institute of Technology has strict teachers

Placements: The placements in our college were the worst before but now the college management now concentrates on placements alone. As a result, the placements have been improving. Many multinational companies started visiting us like Robert Bosch, L&T Infotech, Adobe, Shoba Developers, Vasundara Constructions and much more

SJBIT has a good infrastructure but other things are not good at all.

Placements: The placements in our college are so bad that every year, only 25% of the total students get placed in good companies. The remaining students get graduated without any job offers. Our college is taking measures to improve the placement percentage but each and every measure fails.

SJBIT- Best among the average colleges in Bengaluru.

Placements: Our college provides placement/HRD training from the first year till last year by Zestech company. Our college provides good placement mainly for CSE, ISE, ECE, EEE students. Not so many companies come for other branches. For 2016 batch, the placement was above 90%, but due to layoff in IT companies, it went down to almost 80%. The highest package for 2017 batch was 3.8 lakh pa and the lowest was 2 lakh pa. Our college also provides certification courses by CISCO and IOS training. ...

Placements: Placements are pretty average. The package provided by the companies vary between 2 lakhs PA to 5 lakhs PA. Computer science, information science and electronics & communication students get placed easily, whereas electrical & electronics, mechanical and civil branch students have to struggle a lot. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, HP, Mindtree, Amazon, HCL, L&T and a few more companies visited the campus. Good infrastructure with good facilities but bad canteen.

Placements: Placements are not up to the mark as the HR manager gets only some of the major companies for mechanical like Toyota and even other small companies come to hire. Government companies do come. From the internship point of view, it depends on our interest. It is better to do the internship in a reputed company which will add value to your resume.

Not a good college, with no placements no extra activities.

Placements: Civil placements are not good here. The college has a separate human resources development block which takes care of your personality development but it is a total waste of time and money. In the previous year, placements in civil were 0% from college. Though some students got placed, they were placed in IT companies with a salary of 2 lacs per annum. This college doesn't give much time for the extracurricular activities which is essential for an overall development. Through this college, none o...
