Good college with awesome infrastructure.

Placements: It is the one of the best college to produce good numbers of placed engineers. Placements for CSE, ise and ECE is really awesome, mostly service based company visit our college campus which pays avg of 3 to 5 LPA Our college hands down to bring product based company. The highest package is 13 LPA, maximum 1or 2students are selected. Mncs like Wipro, mindtree, Tcs, Ibm etc. Visit the college.

Could be the worst decision of your life.

Placements: If you are looking for core industry placements, then you will be disappointed. The companies like TCS and Wipro recruit at mass (even mechanical engineers). The tech placement scenario is good but rest of the courses are waste. The mechanical department, especially, would conduct special courses for you to get placed which would be compulsory and you will have to pay a hefty amount. They won't help much because there are hardly any core companies recruit from this college.

If you are looking for bright future with better campus experience, SJBIT.

Placements: You will be placed in core companies only if you have scored above 65%. It's not only happens here, it is the minimum qualifications seeked by almost every recruiters. But you will be placed for sure if you scores 60% overall. And it's not a big deal. The main highlight regarding the placements is the HRD department. The college is conducting HRD classes for every semester except 8 SEM. It is the best way for personal development. The training given here is maintained very higher standards and g...

SJBIT a place that transforms you.

Placements: In SJBIT, there is a separate HR department which starts training you for placements from the very 1st semester. The placement for my batch was very good, and my college has tied up with WIPRO and TCS, these companies are mass recruiters for our college. I have placed in three companies i. e. Tech Mahindra, NTT Data, L&T, Infotech. In my college, you can take three offer letters and even after having three offer letters in hand they allow you to sit for dream companies like Schneider Electric, B...

A very good college to start their career and gain more knowledge.

Placements: There is a separate placement cell that is HRD at SJBIT campus for the placement and training of the engineering and management students. Many companies visit SJBIT campus for placements for hiring the fresh candidates in engineering and management. SJBIT has offered the companies for conducting on-campus and pooled-campus for placements. The highlights are there is a separate HRD block with 1500 seating capacity, 4 training rooms and 10GD rooms and 15 interview rooms. There are 225 systems conn...

Don't believe what college claims all the time.

Placements: The placements were too good before, but now, the placements are not good. They claim we are number 1 in VTU, but they can't get good companies, and a high number of companies whereas other colleges brings many companies for their students. They provide training, and they will charge for it, it is useful. I recommend everyone to attend if you need to get into desired companies.

College is full of fines.

Placements: Placement are about 90% in which the highest was 13 Lacs and the lowest was 1.5 Lacs and with the average of 3.5 Lacs. Companies like mind tree, tcs, samsung, rexroth, oracle, cisco are coming. There is an apple training centre also to do some apple certified cources. Very less students get internships about 5 or 6 students of 180 students in CSE. YES, there is a placement cell and it is quite useful.

A review on SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT), Bangalore.

It is a well-developed campus and well organised with great faculty.

Placements: We have well-planned campus and placement training centre for the whole campus. The placement percentage of the college is of 87%. We have a good trainer and experienced trainers for teaching the students. We have companies like HP, HCL, Mindtree, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc. for the placements.

Well-developed infrastructure.

Placements: The placement was very good, 90% of students were placed, the highest average salary is R.s 4,00,000/. The average salary is 1,50,000 offered by TCS. About 60 percent of the students got college gave internship scholarships, it is very useful for the students.

The college is good for hardworking students.

Placements: The placement in the college is quite good, but for the civil branch, it is low when compared to the CS and EC branches. When compared to other colleges in VTU our college is good. I'm from civil engineering branch till now 14 of my classmates had placed for marketing and core companies, and still, 6-7 companies are coming.

I am not satisfied with placement, projects support, faculty, and support from this SJB college.

Placements: In our college brochure, they print 98% to 96% placement guaranteed, but that's totally opposite in our branch because here no more than 2 companies, related to our branch will come. It's really bad for us, and we are not ready to say about our college because of our branch facility.

The college has a very good infrastructure with good placements in 2015 and qualified teachers.

Placements: The placements are very good on our campus because they are training students from the first which was done by one of the departments called human resources and development (HRD). So that every student have 80% chance to get a job, and they are giving aptitude coaching to improve our technical skills. They are also giving personality development skills.

The college has the best-experienced faculty members.

Placements: The placement in our college for the civil core branches is zero, and not even a single company you can find, but if you are good at communication skill and interested in IT jobs and real estate jobs join in our college. The highest salary according to my knowledge was 4 LPA, and that too from the CS branch.

The college has good infrastructure, and good placements but only for CSE, ISE and ECE.

Placements: The placements are good for CS, IS and ECE branches, but it is almost zero for the civil and mechanical branches. For CS and IS, the placements are almost 100%. Most of the companies that visit our college are service-based, and only a few product based companies visit the campus. Most of the companies provide a package of Rs. 3-4 Lacs per annum. The college placement has been decreasing from the last few years.

Best mediocre college for EC and CS branches.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, this college is best for the electronics branch as well as for IT branches as a lot of IT companies regularly visit the campus. For mechanical and civil engineering branches, there are hardly or no placements. There is a separate training session which is held for the placement.

College is satisfactory which provides a good education.

Placements: Placements are not good for the mechanical engineering students, but the placements here are taking place more for the computer science students. I think it will increase for the mechanical students also in the next few years. Also, extra knowledge is required to pass the interview.

In short our college is a average level college, rating 3/5. I wont suggest you to take admission.

Placements: As we know that the quality of engineers is decreasing, the demand in industries is also decreasing day by day. In this scenario, the only factor which will help you is your intelligence and knowledge. In our campus, the placement is approximately 100% for CSE, ISE and ECE. Whereas, the placement in the mechanical and the civil departments is negligible. The average package offered here is approximately Rs. 3.4 to 4 lakhs per annum. The highest salary offered here was Rs. 4.5 Lakhs. Also, compan...

Partially satisfied with the college.

Placements: If you come to placements, it's almost equal to another college. These days with lack of job opportunities in companies, the country has come down gradually but can give a fair chance to try out for placements. A nice place to find a good job with good package.

A college with good infrastructure and few good faculty members but with poor placements for mech.

Placements: There are a lot of companies recruiting computer science, electronics and information science students but only a very few companies do come for mechanical and civil branches. Few of my seniors and batch mates were placed in Toyota company under mechanical. Top MNC like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, NTT Data, Tech Mahindra, etc. hired many of my batchmates, and the number increases every year.
