Inspiring professors, vibrant campus life, ample resources ideal for growth and learning.
Placements: My course was a Bachelor of Science in IT, which is trending in these times. People are more likely to get into laptops and create their minds by making different apps and learning different languages. People are doing data science, and AI and IT offer it. The companies in which my classmates got jobs were J.P. Morgan, Wipro and high-tech companies with good salaries.
Infrastructure: The hostel at our college is great. My friend from Kashmir came to study IT. The rooms and food availability are good, the washrooms are clean, and great hygiene is maintained. Because our course was computer-based, we used to sit in labs that had good laptop services and a huge lab where everyone had their own computer in front of them. The software was easy to load, and the lab was cleaned. The food that the hostel provides is different from the canteen we have and is good and hygienic.
Faculty: The teachers in our department were highly qualified, and the teaching methods were understandable and great. The college has more experienced faculty members who have over 20 years of experience in their specific domains. Our course is based on growing market studies, which include AI, languages to make apps, and data science. The exams were difficult, but because teacher methods were knowledge-based, not just writing from books, it made one write answers in their own words. We had two semesters and internals.
Other: Sophia College is a girls college, which makes it more comfortable for all girls to join and live a free and empowering life here. Make memories, enjoy events and scope, participate in various activities, and have fun. The most famous festival at our college is Kaleidoscope, and many scholarship opportunities are also available.

Good teachers and curriculum, could work more on the facilities for students.
Placements: Internships opportunities and Certificate courses are plenty. There are several credit courses as well, although time consuming but quite enriching. Around 85% students get internships in the final year. Around 65 % students get placed in the final year with the starting package of 3 lacs and so on.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure and the classes represent a classic pink British style. There is a central lawn and auditorium as well. The well decorated arches and intricately designed pillars add to the charm. There is a canteen with coffee and juice shops as well. There is a sports club also with a basketball court on campus. Wi-Fi is there in the library and in the hostel as well. But the hostel infrastructure is quite old and there are little to no developments. Students do not have much privacy or cleanliness in the hostel and it feels more like a boarding school than a college hostel. There is a hostel mess as well which serves 4 meals.
Faculty: The teachers have completed their Masters and some have completed their Ph.D. as well. They are all well qualified and quite helpful. The curriculum is quite relevant, easy to understand and practical aslo. Some teachers are young and more relatable while some are experienced and help us in ways that the younger ones cannot.
Other: The fest kaleidoscope which rights up the entire campus with light, food stalls, game stalls, big celebrities and exciting competitions is a must see.

B.A. in Psychology from the Sophia College.
Placements: There are not many placement opportunities available for students in our course. Few of the college students get placed in our course. The average package offered for our course was between 3 and 4 LPA. Most of the students go for Masters in our course.
Infrastructure: Sophia College has really good infrastructure. The college had a big campus with facilities such as a sports field, Wi-Fi, parking, labs, a library, canteen and all other necessary facilities for the students. A hostel facility was also available for the students. The food in the canteen and hostel mess was good to eat. Many sports tournaments are organized at our college for the students.
Faculty: The faculty of Sophia College was helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. All the teachers were teaching us well. The course curriculum followed at this college was relevant. Teachers at this college were experienced. Exams were easy to pass. The pass percentage was 80%. Teachers were using all their experience for the students development.

Review of Sophia College.
Placements: The placement cell is active. Few students got placed in this course. Top recruiting company is JP Morgan.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is great. Hostel facilities are good, but it has limited seats. Our campus has the famous Bhabha Auditorium. There is a digital studio. There is a decent library in this college. Canteen is available. A stationery shop is also available. There is a central lawn on our campus.
Faculty: Our department is very good. All teachers are knowledgeable and helpful. It is an autonomous college. The syllabus is relevant. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass marks are 20 out of 50.
Other: Scholarships are provided to merit students. This college organises its women-led fest named Kaleidoscope. Various clubs are available such as the literary society, sports club, Sanskrit Parishad, and Marathi club.

Review of Sophia College.
Placements: Around 10% of students are placed. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Almost 80% of students get internships from Internshala. Top roles offered are sales, HR, digital marketing, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is enabled in every classroom. It provides a library and several books are available like fiction, non-fiction, journals related to national and international, biography, encyclopedias, dictionary, art books, maps, audio-visual materials such as CD-ROMs, DVDs, slides, and filmstrips are also available. The library uses SLIM 21 software for all information management. The library is central and common to all academic activities. In the girls' hostel, there are 105 beds. Sports facilities like badminton court, basketball court, football ground, cricket ground, chess, table tennis, and volleyball court are provided. Students can play at national and international levels. It also has an audio-visual hall, computer laboratory, air-conditioner rooms, auditorium, garden, and gymnasium. Medical facilities are also available. There are digital classrooms. The canteen and cafeteria are also better. Our campus is very beautiful.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Some of them are Ph.D. scholars. They are very supportive and teach students with the latest technology. Around 50% of attendance is required in this college. Our course curriculum is relevant and this college is autonomous.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. An economics degree helps prepare to gather knowledge regarding numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills like business planning, marketing, research, and management. Economics helps you to think strategically and make decisions to optimize the outcome. Sophia College is famous for events and we have one of the best fests in Mumbai which is Kaleidoscope. Our campus life is very great. There are many activities, clubs, and programs to keep you occupied. The student population is diverse and that is great for personality development. Many scholarships are provided like The RWITC Scholarship for academic excellence, The Suryalata Doshi Scholarship, and The Margaret Menezes Scholarship. There are also facilities for LD students and they have priority for admission and at least 10% of LD students should admit to this college. Extracurricular activities are also conducted. This college is helpful for personality development.

It is the best college for graduation in Mumbai.
Placements: There is a placement cell in Sophia College, which conducts placements for the students irrespective of their fields. The top roles that were offered in these internships were mainly digital marketing, HR, and many more. A lot of well-known recruiting companies, as well as well known NGOs, visit the campus. Many graduates from our college were able to get placements in these companies. Most of them were paid internships. Placement cell is very dedicated to their work and would also be used to follow up with their work.
Infrastructure: The college is well-equipped with the latest technologies, There is a huge library which has books for all fields and the faculty is also cooperative. Classrooms are neat and wide. There are blackboards and some classrooms are equipped with digital boards. The hostel admission is provided based on your marks overall the year. There are is limited seats for the hostel, so it is based on a first come first basis.
Faculty: Faculty members of Arts, B.M.M and Science are well qualified and are always dedicated to their students. As the college is autonomous the syllabus is a little different what is prescribed by Mumbai University. The syllabus is structured in such a manner that students get theoretical as well as practical knowledge of the subject.
