Need better administration.

Placements: We have to fetch for our own internships. Feels compared to other government colleges is too high. But great teachers and office staff. Since it is a branch of the Calcutta University, degree is still valuable. More than half of the students do not attend class on a regular basis.

The environment on the campus is very amazing.

Placements: Placements in our college are not good. Very hard-working students get themselves placed but there is no role played by the college. Try to get a good grade in your academic curriculum. If you are looking for placement then think before admission but if you are planning for judiciary or civil services then I would recommend joining this college.

It is an affordable college for the law course. Students should have the knowledge to get admission.

Placements: It is a government college, so faculty members don't work hard to provide placements here. One of the main features is it is affordable. In the profession of a law, a student required the degree mainly so they can practice in court in 5th year. Almost 90% of students get into any kind of internship.

It's a good college to study.

Placements: Placement drives were not conducted in our college. Every student has to do internships for at least three months, and they need to arrange it on their own. Usually, students practice in private chambers or try to get a job in any law firm after graduating. Law firms offer at least Rs. 5,000 per month in the beginning.

Teaching staff and college management are very good, and the infrastructure is good.

Placements: The college currently does not have any placement cell because it is a government college. But, the students of SCLC are working in a large number of law firm across the globe. Students are working with India's renowned law firms like Khaitan & Co., etc.

I am proud to be a student of South Calcutta Law College.

Placements: We don't get any placements through our college. After completing 5 years course, we either have to join a law firm or have to practice privately at courts under the guidance of any senior. First, we have to complete our 5 years course before we join the court, and after getting the licence. We after passing out from the college, need to give a Bar Council exam for getting the licence to be an authentic lawyer. The chambers are available, where we do our official works.
