Review of Sphoorthy Engineering College.
Placements: Only 10% of the students have been placed. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Tech Mahindra. No internship is provided by the college. It is up to the student if they want to do an internship, they need to get the HOD's permission.
Infrastructure: It was up to average, we can't expect more from the management. The canteen was better compared to everything else. Sports meets were conducted once a year, and they invite all the engineering colleges to participate in the events at the college.
Faculty: Some faculty members were excellent in teaching, some were average, and some were below average. Most faculty members teach according to the curriculum. Exams are conducted by JNTUH. The pass percentage is around 50% in every class, depending on the course.

Totally dissapointed with this college.
Placements: The management of placements is highly unsatisfactory as they lack knowledge about companies. Moreover, in my third year, they have begun to subject us to unnecessary hardships. It is advisable to consider joining bigger colleges for a promising and successful future. At this college, smaller companies visit to recruit students with lower salary packages.
Infrastructure: The chosen course is commendable and well-structured; however, the selection of the course greatly influences its quality. Moreover, it is important to note that the hostel facilities are exclusively available for girls, with an annual fee of 80,000 for the girls' hostel, which includes subpar food options.
Faculty: The worst faculty, students are far better than faculty, and management faculty or lectures will not teach deeply. Some faculty was good and well in our college, but few faculty members are the worst in behavior, and the way of teaching and understanding the concept is bad.

Satisfied with the placements offered in the 2025 placement drive.
Placements: The students who scored above 75% are getting placed in different companies. Top recruiting companies for the AIML branch are Wipro, Infosys, TCS, CloudTaru, Oracle, Pebs Pennar Solar Pvt. Ltd., Amazon, Tech Mahindra, Infotech, etc. Machine learning engineer, research engineer, business intelligence, AI data analyst, etc. The highest package is 16 LPA, the average package is 6 LPA, and the lowest package is 4 LPA. The students with around a 7.5 CGPA got internships from companies like Accenture, Deloitte, Oracle, HP, etc.
Infrastructure: Coming to faculty, some staff members are good at teaching and knowledge, and some are good at knowledge, but they are not able to teach properly. There is no access to use Wi-Fi for students, but they can use it in labs. The classrooms are also clean and neat. There is a huge library on campus; any branch students can avail themselves of all types of books. There is no hostel facility for boys, but for girls it is there. The food in the canteen is not bad. They eventually conduct sports for only 1st-year students on Saturday.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful in gaining a better knowledge. Some staff members have done their Ph.D.s in their respective fields. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant, and it can make the students ready for the industry on the interest of students. If the students can focus on their studies, they can score good marks and can maintain a good percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of my finding of information about different branches. I came to a point that this is the best platform from the CSE group. They conduct only freshers and annual day celebrations. Other than these, there is no scope to expect fests from the college. The ground is very clean, and the surroundings are attractive. We need to apply scholarships based on reservation.

Personal experience of mine.
Placements: In our college, there are a good number of placements. Well-known companies like EPAM, Collebera, Cognizant, TATA, Accenture, etc visited our college for placement.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is very good and attractive with a garden, open gym, and open stage. There are sports grounds and a big seminar hall. Also, there is a nice canteen and a nice parking space.
Faculty: The faculty is good and many internships are recommended by the faculty. They help us with mini and major projects and seminars in the final years.

The placements are not great.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in the CSE course is 70-75%. The highest package received in the CSE course is 12 lakhs, and the lowest package received is 2 lakhs. When it comes to the average, it is 6 lakhs. The top recruiting companies are Tech Mahindra, and Good.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is quite good, and we also have well-maintained labs. However, some equipment is not working. All the classrooms are well-maintained. When it comes to facilities in the hostel, they are not up to the mark, and the provided food is average.
Faculty: Apart from all things, the faculty is quite good with good knowledge. Some faculty members are qualified, whereas some are just average. As it is JNTUH affiliated, the difficulty of exams depends on the JNTUH question paper. The pass percentage is 65%. Overall, the curriculum is average.
Other: According to me, overall this is average. If anybody wants to enjoy their college life like fests, bunks, and all, then this college is the worst decision because there are no open gates, and the fests are just average.
