B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2026

Good infrastructure and average faculty. Placements were good before 2022.
Placements: Max 60% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 51 LPA. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. Accenture and Capgemini are top recruiting companies. About 30% of students got internships at Acmegrade and Flipkart. Roles offered include trainee engineer, associate trainee engineer, and VLSI design engineer.
Infrastructure: ECE department block has a very good ambiance with full Wi-Fi, and labs have air conditioner facilities. We have a central library where every student can spend their valuable time to gain knowledge. Hostel facilities in our college are very good, but the fee is quite high. Food in the hostel is average but has different varieties for every meal.
Faculty: The faculty is friendly and talented, but faculty members are mostly busy with other academic work. Quality of teaching is average. Course curriculum is not that relevant, but depending on the students, they can be industry-ready. Semester exams in our college are open book, which helps in increasing practical knowledge for students.

Our college has a very supportive staff, and many students got placed in companies.
Placements: Many of my friends got placed in various domains and IT sectors. Roles offered to them are associate trainee engineer and trainee web developer. The highest salary package offered to students is 10 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 5 LPA. Companies like Capgemini, Wipro, and IBM visited our college and recruited students.
Infrastructure: Our environment is beautiful with good and hygienic infrastructure. The overall campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Our classrooms are well-maintained and clean. We have all types of labs and perform practicals very seriously. There are clean rooms. The food provided in the hostel is hygienic and tasty.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed by the college management. It makes students industry-ready. The subject they teach is easily understandable by students. The faculty is friendly and ready to help students to improve their knowledge. We have a semester every 6 months.
Other: ECE jobs are among the highest-paid and have the highest job satisfaction. Students get jobs in communication and signal processing, image processing and computer vision, remote sensing, control systems and robotics, and energy storage technology.

Recommend partially and it's good to join in some cases.
Placements: Almost everyone got placed in my batch either in less job or huge job. Everyone got placed and the average package is 3 LPA ,lowest is 2 LPA and highest is 7 LPA. top recruiters g are Siemens and there are around 75 percent students who got internship from my course in the companies and top roles are designer.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available for my course are average and the quality of the facilities in hostel is also average. Mess and canteen is also not so good and the sports, games are encouraged alot in college and these need to be improved.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and qualified. Coming to the teaching, it's good, no compromises here and the course curriculum is not so relevant but teachers try to explain the things precisely. The students are little bit eligible for industrial meets and the semester exams in the college are simple and pass percentage is also easy.
Other: I choose EEE course because I was interested in electrical related things in my childhood and I love hardware. Nothing needs to be improved and everything like fest are superb.

I was absolutely satisfied with the placements from our course and facilities.
Placements: 65.7 percent of the students got placed in the college placements in various companies. 6 Lacs per annum was the highest package, 4 Lacs per annum was the average package, and 3 Lacs per annum was the lowest package from our course. The top most recruiting companies like Deloitte, TCS, Foxconn, COULRYT are there in the list. Almost 65 percent of the students got their internship certificates in various companies like IT Solutions Pvt Ltd, Deloitte, etc. The top roles like circuit designer and manufacturing.
Infrastructure: Our college facilities and infrastructure are very much satisfied for the students. The facilities available like Wi-Fi, labs, ventilated classrooms, library, bus facilities available, seminar halls, etc. The quality of the food in the canteen and mess is very tasty with variety of items. The quality of the hostel was also great with neat and hygiene environment. The physical activities like games and sports are conducted every day in the college ground. The medical facilities like ambulance facility and very well-experienced doctors.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were really helpful for the students in teaching the concepts clearly. They are providing quality education to the students. The teaching quality has been rated top by the students. Yes, especially our course curriculum is relevant as it is making many students ready for the industry. The semester exams are not so much difficult for the students, the pass percentage was around 85 percent.
Other: The best things about my course is we can move to software side or hardware side. So I chose this course. The things like increasing the faculty would be better for the students. The events like cultural activities, festival events, fests, connectivity, campus farewell party, crowd meetings, tours, etc. will be excellent in the college.

I was absolutely satisfied and pleased with the placements from our course.
Placements: Placements, especially from our course, are absolutely satisfactory, with an overall percentage of 76. The highest salary was 8 LPA, the lowest package was around 3.5 LPA, and the average package was around 5 LPA. The topmost recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, Coulruyt, Infosys, Deloitte, etc. 78 percent of the students got their internship certificates at different companies with a 6-month internship period. Offered roles like designing and manufacturing are the top ones.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are extensive, with many great facilities like an auditorium, library, free Wi-Fi around the entire campus, placement rooms, AC labs, seminar halls, project labs, and well-ventilated classrooms. There are separate hostels for both boys and girls with different messes. The food in both the kitchen and canteen is decent, with reasonable fees. Medical facilities, like an ambulance and very well-experienced doctors, are available in the college. Games like volleyball, cricket, basketball, and other indoor games are played on campus.
Faculty: The mechanical engineering faculty is the best thing in our college; they are highly qualified and well-experienced in their course. Almost every faculty member in our course has done their higher-level studies; the teaching quality has been excellent throughout the academic year. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant because it is making many students industry-ready by placing them in companies. The semester exams are the toughest ones because they are based on concepts. The pass percentage was around 75 percent in our course.
Other: I chose the mechanical engineering course because it is the best platform to improve my knowledge. Promoting and marketing the course would be great so that many new students will come. Refreshment activities like fests, farewells, freshers' meetings, tours, concerts, and festivals are fun in the college.

SR University is a good college, actually.
Placements: About 70% of students are placed, and the average salary package offered is around 2.5 LPA. Infosys is the top company recruiting our students. Placements are partly good and partly bad, depending on students. All types of courses are available for everyone, but some come at a cost.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi in our college is very good. Labs and classrooms are not bad, and the library is somewhat small, but it's okay. Food in the hostel and canteen is average. Sports facilities are good for some sports like kabaddi, volleyball, and badminton, but there is no cricket.
Faculty: The course curriculum is designed with industry relevance in mind, incorporating modern technologies like artificial intelligence, data science, and cybersecurity. This focus aims to prepare students for industry challenges. Inclusion of practical training and collaborations with global institutions further strengthens this objective.
Other: I chose this college because of the B.Tech degree. However, the college needs to improve its greenery, as only blocks are found on the campus.
