Good college life but poor facilities and college system.
Placements: Students are placed, but big company packages are not offered; it is a basic salary package that is provided. The highest-level package is 3.5 LPA. Top recruitment goes to Infopark companies at Kochi itself. Most of the students get internships, or the college provides internship support for students.
Infrastructure: The college has very basic facilities in the lab and classroom. Wi-Fi is not provided throughout the college but is provided inside labs. Hostel facilities are really good, and the food is very good. The college provides support for sports and games activities; also, programs are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and cooperative with students. Teaching quality is not bad. Every end of the semester, a faculty survey is conducted to get feedback from students on the teachers' teaching level. The course is relevant to today's industry. Exams are not that difficult.

Good college and I am satisfied with good placements.
Placements: 86% of students get placed in this course. The highest salary is 14 lacs per annum. The lowest salary is 3 lacs per annum. The top roles are communication engineer and electronics engineer. The top recruiting companies are Wipro and Reliance. 65% of students got internships.
Infrastructure: The college facilities are good. The infrastructure of our college is the best. The classrooms and laboratories are neatly maintained. The Wi-Fi facility is available with high-speed internet. The library is an independent building with a huge number of books. The hostel facilities are good. The canteen provides many popular dishes.
Faculty: The faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are well-experienced. The teaching quality is good and easy to understand for the students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are not easy. 60% is the pass percentage.

My review about my college .
Placements: There is placement in our college every student who passes out gets into any small company, the is more campus recruitment for UG courses such as MBA and MCA. Last year, the students got placed in good companies and got up to 20 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not great the classrooms need to get better and toilets are damaged. The college needs more repairs and needs to get a better canteen and also painting and air conditioning. The hostel needs more repairing and the food needs better hygiene. The girl's hostel food is bad and some of them got food poison.
Faculty: The semester exams are moderate but some are quite tough to pass and teaching needs to be more good. Some faculty teachers are advised to have better teaching experience. But you can pass every exam if you study. Some courses are not necessary and need to be taken away.
Other: I chose this course as an option and wanted to go for another course, but my core course has more scope and is quite tough to get a good job with a good salary, but a person who has better skills can be successful.

The college and the faculty members are good but there's not much programs like Onam, Christmas etc.
Placements: Almost 50 percent of students were placed in my course. The average package offered is 3 LPA to 6 LPA after training. There are different companies offering jobs in all streams. Almost seventy percent of students got internships from my college in various companies and were placed.
Infrastructure: The course is good enough, and the faculty members are much better than we expected. Our college provides all lab facilities for courses and subjects like Physics, Chemistry, C Programming, Maths, etc. The hostel's neatness and food are really good.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and highly qualified, who assist us in everything. The pass percentage was above forty percent. The semester exam was really hard. The faculty members tried their best. The course is good, and the faculty members are also good.

Not a good college for people seeking placements.
Placements: Honestly, this college was the best around 6-8 years ago. It was so famous that literally everyone started joining the college at that time. But the initial hype did not stop students from joining the college, even though the college is currently not as good as before. Around 85% of students get placed per year, but only 10% or less get placed in well-reputed companies with a minimum of 30000 per month. About 90% of students join internships in companies like Infosys and others.
Infrastructure: The hostel on campus does provide internet, but it is not as fast as we require. The food available in the hostel follows a weekly routine cycle which may contain non-veg, but it's mostly veg. Every afternoon we get veg except on Sunday. The college campus, however, is not that big, but the PG block, which was built recently, is tall, and almost 60% of the rooms are centralized AC. Although the B.Tech campus has a very nice center area full of grass and trees, the classrooms are mostly boring. Most classrooms do not contain projectors, and it requires the teacher to bring it along with him/her when he/she wants to teach something.
Faculty: Almost all the teachers are great. They all have great character, but some of them lack experience. They do know all the stuff they are teaching, but they don't know how to teach. This course curriculum is relevant, but most students opt for this course. Generally, taking B.Tech itself is a gamble; you may or may not be broken one day. I definitely do not think that this makes the students industry ready. The semesters, as per the KTU syllabus, are a bit harsh but are easy to crack and pass without a supplementary. About 75%-80% of students pass every year from this college.
Other: I chose this course because there really wasn't another option for me, as I do know a thing or two about programming. There aren't many good things or bad things about my course, but there is one subject called engineering graphics which was my favorite, as it was the easiest to learn of them all. I wish that the hostel bathrooms were cleaned and fixed at least 5 times a week. I wish the teaching skills of teachers were better. I wish the campus life was better. Another good thing is that there isn't much ragging compared to other colleges, and there are festivals conducted at this college sometimes.

    Placements and overall is okay.
Placements: A significant portion, 50%, of the students in our college have secured permanent positions in various companies. The average salary package amounts to approximately fifty thousand. Prominent recruiting companies include Varies Marine and Cyber Marine, among others. The roles available at our college encompass estimator and designer positions.
Infrastructure: The overall quality of the college and hostel facilities is commendable. The college boasts a library that caters to four departments, with a maximum capacity of approximately 60 students for the MBA and MCA courses. However, the faculty could be improved, and the Wi-Fi connectivity and lab facilities were satisfactory at best.
Faculty: The semester exams at ktu received widespread criticism for being extremely challenging. The modules proved to be particularly difficult, requiring a significant amount of time to study. Unfortunately, many students struggled to find the necessary time to dedicate to their studies. As a result, the overall pass percentage was only sixty out of a hundred. It is worth noting that each semester consists of five modules, making the workload even more demanding. In summary, the academic challenges at ktu are undeniably tough.
Other: Teach Fest is really good.
