Q:   Is it worth pursuing B.E. / B.Tech at Sri Krishna Institute of Technology?

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is it worth pursuing B.E./B.Tech at Sri Krishna Institute of Technology?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

    Pros:
    * The faculty members are well-qualified, friendly, and helpful, with many holding PhDs.
    * The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry.
    * The college infrastructure is good, with modern classrooms, laboratories, and a library.
    * The hostel facilities (for girls) are comfortable and well-maintained.
    * The college organizes various extracurricular activities, including seminars, workshops, and festivals.

    Cons:
    * The placement record is somewhat disappointing, with only a few companies visiting the campus regularly.
    * The salary packages offered are generally lower, ranging from INR2.5 LPA to INR4 LPA.
    * The infrastructure could be improved, particularly in terms of Wi-Fi connectivity and maintenance.
    * Some students feel that the college focuses more on collecting fees than providing quality education.

    Other observations:
    * Around 60-70% of students from the CSE department get placed, with the highest package reaching INR10 LPA.
    * Internship opportunities are available, although not all students participate.
    * The college has a strong focus on academics, with strict examinations and evaluations.
    * The atmosphere is generally quiet, with minimal social life outside of academic pursuits.

    Conclusion:
While Sri Krishna Institute of Technology has some positive aspects, such as a good faculty-student ratio and decent infrastructure, the placement record and salary packages leave room for improvement. Students considering this institution should weigh these factors carefully against the benefits of attending a smaller, relatively unknown college. Ultimately, whether or not it's "worth" pursuing a degree at SKIT depends on individual goals, priorities, and expectations.

    A:
    {Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

    Success Rate of Placement Cell

While the faculty members are excellent, placement rates have not met expectations.
Placements: In 2024, the market was down, but I think for the 2025 batch, it will work fine. Currently, 50% of students got internships in companies, and the college is trying to provide internships for the remaining students. They are trying to get internships in some companies because nowadays, those who do internships in companies have a higher chance of being placed in the same company.
Infrastructure: Classes are well-equipped with projectors, and labs function perfectly. The Wi-Fi speed meets expectations, ensuring smooth internet access for students. The college campus features a canteen that provides a variety of food options. Additionally, there's a parking facility for vehicles, making it convenient for those who commute. Overall, the campus environment is supportive and well-rounded, catering to the needs of students and staff alike.
Faculty: The Computer Science and Engineering department boasts knowledgeable and cooperative teachers. The HOD truly understands student needs, making the environment conducive to learning. Additionally, the lab assistant is helpful and supportive. Overall, it is a commendable department.

    True facts about my college.
Placements: Hello everyone, Mine is the 2nd batch of VLSI, and no one is placed in VLSI till now, as this course was adopted only from last year. A total of 45 members in their 2nd year got placed. The highest package is 7.5 LPA. The top roles may be front-end, back-end developers, or full-stack developers. Internship is offered to all students from Rainex, Comedkares, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are above average; labs for all subjects are given where each student gets a chance to explore. I don't know about the hostel, as I am a day scholar, but as per the hostelers, it has good facilities and food with the best quality.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have great knowledge, and their doubt-solving skills are above our thinking level. The course curriculum is from the VTU, which is accepted all over the world, and they make the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and the pass percentage is more than 85 percent.
Other: I choose VLSI as the future world needs many semiconductor engineers, and many companies are coming up with demand for these engineers. The best thing about the campus is the view we get and the fresh air, as it's located on a hill.

Not satisfied because of infrastructure and extra activities .
Placements: Only 2 students places last year. The highest package in computer Science And Engineering was only 5 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 2lakh per annum only some students get internship in sri krishna institute of technology top companies are like Infosys, Wipro and etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very bad the college is not even having the school infra it's too bad when we talk about extra activities we do not have ground at all, there is canteen till now and only they have girls hostel, zero medical facilities available, sports will be once in semester .
Faculty: Some teachers in computer Science and engineering department are helpful and some are very bad yes this course had a future but artificial intelligence and machines learning was having still more future compare to computer Science And Engineering course.
Other: I choose this course because it has a very bright future we can express our new innovation to the technical world present here I like even more to teach ai subjects in CS.

Sri Krishna Institute of Technology offers quality education in engineering and technology fields.
Placements: The average package is 4,50,000 per year, and the highest package offered through campus recruitment is 12,50,000 per year at TCL. Approximately 85% of students get placed. Students are placed based on the skills they learn and the way they handle that knowledge in coding and all.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities. A lift is available. Wi-Fi is available. The food is nice. Recently, they have started NCC training. They are good at supporting sports; they support both girls and boys. The canteen is also good; the food is very tasty. Overall, the college is good. Almost every facility is available. Everything is good about the college now. Our new campus is so good.
Faculty: The teachers' explanations are very good. The way they teach us is very helpful for learning about the subject. Semester exams are not that difficult. It depends on the way we prepare, but teachers explain the important topics clearly that come up in semester exams.
Other: I chose AIML because it's in demand now. It's the top second course in this generation. We can learn so many new things about technology, about artificial intelligence and all. We can learn how to use it in a proper way. The college should improve some cultural activities. Yes, scholarships are available for almost every student. Overall, everything is fine.

It's a good and well maintained college with good faculty .
Placements: Yes, our college has over 60% of placements and offers more placements. In our college, 2000 students are studying; most of them are in the computer science branch and the faculty are good; they offer good education and background support, like courses to be done and they suggest some of the internships .
Infrastructure: It's a newly constructed buildings good infrastructure and well-maintained campus. As I mentioned, it's a newly constructed building that needs some more time to be fully developed like cafés, parking lots, gyms, etc. They provide vans for transportation from the bus stop.
Faculty: Teachers are good and the courses offered here involve the latest technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning and much more, like competitions between inter-colleges, which will provide stability for students to think like professionals.
Other: I chose artificial intelligence because it is a newly introduced course and has high demand for features.

Choose Sri Krishna Institute of Technology wisely.
Placements: As per my insights, the placements at our college aren't really impressive. The highest package secured was 8 Lacs last year and the percentage of students getting placed is around 85–90%. I don't have an idea of the companies recruiting but the ones I've heard of are TCS and INFOSYS.
Infrastructure: The college campus is located on the top of a hill, which makes it difficult for us to climb it every day to attend the classes. Wi-fi is provided by the college, which is a good thing. The boys hostel is not facilitated but the facilities for the girls' hostel are present.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified and most of them are Ph.D. holders. The teaching approach of the teachers is impressive. The course curriculum is relevant. They train us hard to get the industry ready but at last, its our responsibility to put in the effort. A semester academically is very stressful.
