I am not satisfied with the management, but the faculty members are good.
Placements: Not many students got placed because of the pandemic. The college is not good at providing placements, especially in mechanical and civil engineering. Placements for others branches are good, especially computer science.
Infrastructure: There is no hostel for boys, but they offer a hostel for girls. The hostel is good for girls. General facilities such as Wi-Fi, library, and canteen are provided but are average. There is not much support for physical activity. The canteen food is bad. But the campus is filled with greenery.
Faculty: This college is affiliated with Vishveshwaraya Technology University, and the question papers of this university are a bit tough. It is easy to clear the subjects but scoring high is difficult.
Other: They provide scholarships. The campus is spread around 20 acres and it's good.

Faculty members of our college are excellent, and good coaching is available here.
Placements: Around 25% of the students got placed in our course. The highest salary package offered was 12 LPA by Just Pay, the lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA by Cognizant, and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The placement department provides training to students on how they have to perform in aptitude tests and improve their personality development skills.
Infrastructure: Our college and hostel are provided with good infrastructure. The classroom teaching is not included with projector presentation. Our college premises have a Wi-Fi facility, which students can access. Laboratories of the department are well-equipped with the latest equipment and machines. Apart from the college library, there is also a department library, which can be accessed by students. CAD-CAM lab is the best in our department. Our college also has an air-conditioned auditorium, which has an accommodation capacity of about 300-400 students.
Faculty: Faculty members are the best in the mechanical department. All faculty members are highly qualified, and most of them are PhD holders. Most of the professors have a keen interest in research. Our HOD guides us in subject matters with all his experiences and also encourages us to take part in extracurricular activities. Every year, we are provided with an industrial visit to reputed companies. It is very helpful for our development and to gain knowledge about the industries. The course curriculum is very useful here.
Other: Events like seminars, etc., are always organised in our college. The campus crowd is negligible, and there is a Wi-Fi facility for us. All the events and fests celebrated are good, and our college spends lots of money on the fest. Our college also provides a scholarship to students who are in need.

Good faculty members with average placement record.
Placements: Placement offers for Mechanical stream is not so good. 4-5 of our seniors got job in core mechanical companies. On the other hand Mechanical students are allowed to sit for IT/Service based companies. In 2019-20 a record placement had been achieved by the institution. Placement training sessions for every branch is compulsory.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not so good as the campus is situated on the hill terrain (Chimney hills). The laboratories of the department are well-equipped with the latest equipment and machines. Apart from the college library, there is also a department library which can be accessed by the students. The CAD CAM lab are the best in our department. The college also has an air conditioned auditorium which has a capacity to accommodate 300 - 400 students.
Faculty: The best faculty members are found in the mechanical department. All are highly qualified and many hold Ph.D. And most the professors have keen interest in research. Our HOD sir with all his experiences guides us in subject matters and also encourages us to take part in extra curricular activities.
Other: The management has a new representative who is working towards making the institution a better place for learning.

I am highly satisfied with the facilities provided by the college.
Placements: Almost 30% of the students from our batch were placed. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, Mindtree, ELEATION and Infosys. Roles offered to the students were service engineer, technical support engineer, engineer trainee, etc. Almost all the students got internships in small scale and large scale industries.
Infrastructure: Labs in our college are well-designed, and sophisticated equipment is well-maintained and serviced periodically. Computer labs have a high-speed data connection for browsing, and software is also updated regularly. Classrooms are well-designed and maintained properly. All classrooms have a projector and computers for a smart class.
Faculty: All teachers in our college are well-qualified and knowledgeable in their subjects. They are graduated from top colleges in India like IIT and top colleges in Bangalore. They have good teaching experience, and the quality of notes and lectures which are delivered to the students are well-prepared.
Other: I have chosen this course because mechanical engineering is one of the evergreen subjects, and the scope will never change for this course. More power has been added to the subject of mechanical engineering with the development of robotics machine learning and artificial intelligence. Our college is the best of all the colleges. Workshops, hands-on experience and regular sessions are held for students periodically.

Our college is good, but the campus is small. All teachers are always helpful and friendly.
Placements: About 50% of the students from our course are getting placed. The highest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 1.8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Kirloskar Pvt Ltd is the top recruiter of our course, and the supervisor is the top role offered in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 5 LPA, while the average salary package offered is 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 2 LPA. Around 50% of the students got an internship in CNC Pvt Ltd.
Infrastructure: Classrooms here are huge and also maintaining with cleanness. There is a good environment in our college, and the labs are also good with all advanced technology equipment. The library is excellent with many books. The hostel is average, and there is no hostel for boys. The hostel is available only for girls, and the cleanness and maintenance of the hostel are average. The canteen is good for only breakfast and lunch. All South Indian food items are available in the canteen.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful. They all are very knowledgeable and excellent. They are very friendly with students when they have doubt with the subject. All teachers are well qualified from reputed universities and also knowledgeable. Students are building their future in the college to settle easily in their life.
Other: I'm very passionate about cars and bikes, so I chose to become mechanical engineering. The mechanical course is the best because the world is full of mechanical based and even we require for the development of the country also. I suggest that our college should add some mechanical machine-based subjects. The campus is small but very good. There is no ragging in our college as it is strictly prohibited. Scholarships will also be provided by the Karnataka government, i.e., bypass scholarships. Festivals are conducted every year, and events are also conducted. Our college also conducts a sports day, and our college is good in all these activities.

A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is it worth pursuing B.E./B.Tech at Sri Krishna Institute of Technology?

Based on the reviews and feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the pros and cons:

Pros:
* The faculty members are well-qualified, friendly, and helpful, with many holding PhDs.
* The course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry.
* The college infrastructure is good, with modern classrooms, laboratories, and a library.
* The hostel facilities (for girls) are comfortable and well-maintained.
* The college organizes various extracurricular activities, including seminars, workshops, and festivals.

Cons:
* The placement record is somewhat disappointing, with only a few companies visiting the campus regularly.
* The salary packages offered are generally lower, ranging from INR2.5 LPA to INR4 LPA.
* The infrastructure could be improved, particularly in terms of Wi-Fi connectivity and maintenance.
* Some students feel that the college focuses more on collecting fees than providing quality education.

Other observations:
* Around 60-70% of students from the CSE department get placed, with the highest package reaching INR10 LPA.
* Internship opportunities are available, although not all students participate.
* The college has a strong focus on academics, with strict examinations and evaluations.

Conclusion:
While Sri Krishna Institute of Technology has some positive aspects, such as a good faculty-student ratio and decent infrastructure, the placement record and salary packages leave room for improvement. Students considering this institution should weigh these factors carefully against the benefits of attending a smaller, relatively unknown college. Ultimately, whether or not it's "worth" pursuing a degree at SKIT depends on individual goals, priorities, and expectations.
